Discover the Centre for the Management of Renewable Energies at Châlons-en-Champagne
Located at Châlons-en-Champagne, the Centre for the Management of Renewable Energies of ENGIE is a unique and innovative resource. Since 2010, its role has been to guide the wind power and photovoltaic installations belonging to ENGIE.
The Management Centre ensures precise, real-time monitoring of each of the machines in the wind farms and of each electrical substation connected to it while allowing operations to be carried out by remote control at any time. Its role enhances the security of the installations as well as the quality of the data transmitted to the Réseau de transport d’électricité (RTE) (= Electricity transmission network) and contributes to the improvement of wind energy forecasting.
