Real opportunities for personal development within the Group
Innovation is more than an industrial imperative; it is also the state of mind that guides our Human Resources policy.
In a fast-moving world where half of tomorrow’s professions don’t yet exist, it is absolutely essential to anticipate how our specialist skills as a business are evolving, and to prepare our people for those changes.
At ENGIE, we believe that everyone has valuable talents, and the Group is committed to enabling all its employees to progress by working with them to prepare personal development plans. This plan encompasses training, career path guidance, and all the possibilities offered by mobility. This commitment is also expressed in our Development for People, People for Development policy, which is designed to develop employee commitment, at the same time as making sure that managers have the right people in the right places at the right time.
Throughout your career, your managers will work alongside you to:
- develop your professional knowledge and help you to acquire new skills through personalized training. Every year, more than 7,000 employees in 15 different countries attend ENGIE University training courses, and 70% of all employees complete e-learning courses,
- support you in achieving your personal career plans by helping you to develop within the Group by changing job, region or entity (more than 30% of people make such a change within a two-year period).
