What information will I have to provide?
You will have to enter the information requested about your company: this is just the normal contact information, such as company name, address, annual revenue, point of contact, etc.
There’s no need to supply legally required documents when you first register. You will be able to complete your data at a later time.
On the other hand, you must select your purchasing category or categories (up to a maximum of 5).
How does the registration process work?
Once you’ve completed your information and sent it to us, you will receive a notification e-mail with your username and password. Your application will then be forwarded to the ENGIE manager responsible, who will check the information you have entered and send it on to the purchasing areas concerned.
You will then receive an e-mail to tell you whether your request for registration has been successful or not. If it has been unsuccessful, we will explain the reasons in our e-mail.
If your registration is accepted, your company will be included in our supplier database. You will also be able to access the web portal, your own welcome page and the information about your business, which you can then complete at any time.
What are the selection criteria?
We prefer to select companies that offer products and services consistent with our innovation priorities:
- CO2capture and storage
- LNG, offshore and gas chains of the future
- The City and Building of Tomorrow
- Smart Energy & Environment
But if you believe that you have a distinctive product or service to offer, then please do not hesitate to let us know. We will give full consideration to all proposals.
You also have the opportunity to send us a brief description of your innovative product(s) or service(s) at the time of registration. Please be brief and concise. Include only non-confidential information. If your innovation is of interest to us, we will contact you to find out more.
How could my company benefit?
Once your registration has been approved and entered into our database, your company will be identified as a potential supplier.
As a signatory to the ‘Innovative SME’ Charter, ENGIE is committed to supporting you and studying your innovation with input from its SME committee and Research and Technology Division.
You will then be invited to give us a detailed presentation of what you do, with particular focus on your innovative products and/or services, but you may also be contacted to bid for contracts. In practical terms, this database is a Group supplier database shared by all ENGIE Group companies.
How can I be sure that my innovation won’t be exploited?
Respect for ethical rules is a fundamental element of the relationship between ENGIE and its stakeholders. The Group conducts its business on the basis of four fundamental principles: compliance with all laws and regulations, a deep-rooted culture of integrity, loyalty and honesty, and respect for others. These principles are applied in ways that respect the diversity of local cultures. We have signed a number of agreements regarding SMEs, and we give you our binding commitment that we will not exploit your innovation unless we have agreed conditions with you in advance.
How quickly will I receive an answer?
The response time is between 4 and 12 weeks.
