ENGIE, partner of the Solar Impulse Foundation for a sustainable world

ENGIE and the Solar Impulse Foundation announce today their partnership at Viva Technology, in Paris, a hub for the world’s innovators dedicated to the exhibition of future technology.

Isabelle Kocher, CEO of ENGIE, and Bertrand Piccard, founder of Solar Impulse, commit together to promoting concrete energy solutions that are both economically and ecologically viable.

ENGIE and Solar Impulse are both convinced of the importance of innovation and technology in meeting this challenge.

This commitment reflects the common roots of the history of ENGIE and the Solar Impulse Foundation: a pioneering spirit, a desire to shape a sustainable energy world and a bold entrepreneurial spirit.

ENGIE, leader of the energy revolution, develops solutions in favor of a decentralized, decarbonized and digitized energy. The Group shares with the Solar Impulse Foundation a common vision of a sustainable world. Founded by Dr. Bertrand Piccard, the Solar Impulse Foundation launched the World Alliance for Efficient Solutions in November 2016, aiming at making consumers aware of solutions that are already available and capable of supporting a sustainable growth.
