What You Can Expect
As our Commissions Analyst II, you will ensure timely and accurate payments and reporting to internal stakeholders and external broker partners, self-managing routine tasks affecting financial reporting and data integrity. In this role, you will contribute to operational billing, transaction management, sales, accounting, customer care, and commissions functions within independent and cross-functional team projects with third-party vendors to provide top-tier service. You will be expected to identify issues and execute solutions both independently and in a team environment as needed. This position is located in Houston, TX, reporting to the Advisor, Broker Commissions.
- Learn and calculate all available commission payment plans
- Assist manager on various projects involving broker system enhancements, product development, and market changes
- Process monthly sales commissions and deliver detailed statements to external broker partners
- Monitor contract and commissions data across internal ENGIE systems and respond to email correspondence promptly
What You’ll Bring
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering or related field
- A minimum of two (2) years’ of experience in commissions, sales or retail energy field
- You are an independent thinker with a focus on finding positive solutions
- You have a strong analytical and problem-solving skills for addressing data concerns
- You are proficient in advanced PC skills, including SQL, macros, Excel, Power BI, and SAP
- You have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong attention to detail and follow-up
- You are customer-focused, whether with internal customers or partners, and work effectively as a team player
Additional Details
- This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy; working in the Houston, TX office
- Must be available to travel domestically up to 5% of the time
- Must be willing and able to comply with ENGIE’s policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing
- Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
Compensation
Salary Range: $53,900 – $83,375 USD annually
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
