Following her success on the Super League circuit, Team ENGIE athlete Cassandre Beaugrand was keen to finish her season with a win. Traveling to Malta for the last event of the season, the triathlete started favorite.
In spite of an excellent start to the race, a broken derailleur spoiled her dream and forced her to abandon.
Nonetheless she retained the green jersey as the fastest cyclist. The 2019 season is over, time for a well-earned rest!
Back in training after her world title and a short break, Madeleine Malonga flew off for the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam, in the United Arab Emirates.
After a difficult start for the French team, Madeleine claimed a success for France, securing an excellent third place with a win over Kosovo’s Loriana Kuka.
After their experience at SailGP, the two French sailors are back in training on Nacra 17 to prepare for their Olympic dream in 2020.
Their next event will be the World Championships in Auckland, New Zealand, early in December.
The World Championships in Budapest, Hungary were disappointing for Élodie.She has been able to refocus and make good use of the rest imposed by the calendar.
Before returning to training at the French National Institute of Sport, Expertise, and Performance (INSEP), Élodie traveled to Wuhan, China for the Military World Games, where she returned to winning ways, taking gold in her event. Congratulations, Élodie!
