<div class=\"teq-wysiwyg\">\n                <div data-trad data-trad-html><p>For the first time in less than 10 years, The Conference of the Parties will take place in an African country: in Egypt, in Sharm el-Sheikh, from November 7 to 18, 2022.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Considered as the COP of the &#8220;last chance&#8221;, it <em>&#8220;will have to be the one of implementation, to move from promises to actions&#8221;<\/em>, warned Ambassador Wael Aboul Magd, special representative of the Egyptian Presidency of the COP.<\/p>\n<p>Objective given by the UN Secretary General, Ant\u00f3nio Guterres: <em>&#8220;to deposit a &#8220;down payment&#8221; on climate solutions that respond to the magnitude of the problem&#8221; and &#8220;plan the implementation&#8221;<\/em> of all the promises of 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Last year&#8217;s COP26, held in Glasgow, called on states to raise their nationally determined contributions (NDCs) each year.
