has partnered with the production company ELEPHANT to present an original documentary: \u201cRenewables: Stop or Keep Going?\u201d This 34-minute film, available on the TF1+ platform, invites viewers to take an objective and calm look at the challenges of renewable energy, its social acceptance, and how it is embraced by French society.<\/p>\n<h2>Bringing facts and verifiable information back into the debate<\/h2>\n<p>The debate around renewable energy is often polarized, fueled by misinformation and sometimes dogmatic positions. Yet a study conducted by the polling company Ifop for ENGIE in 2025, based on a representative sample of 12,000 people, showed that more than 8 out of 10 French citizens support renewable energy. They also express a strong need for clear information on the challenges raised by these new energy sources in order to better understand them.<\/p>\n<p>Through this documentary, ENGIE aims to spark a debate grounded in concrete evidence, enabling everyone to form their own opinion. The film therefore gives a voice to a wide range of stakeholders: citizens, local associations, farmers, independent experts, ENGIE representatives, as well as international policymakers.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThis documentary was born out of a strong conviction: the debate on renewable energy deserves to be informed by facts, real-world experience, and a diversity of viewpoints. We gave full editorial freedom to the production company ELEPHANT to ensure a transparent approach, far removed from traditional institutional communication. Our goal is simple: to help everyone better understand the challenges of the energy transition and form their own opinion: citizens, local stakeholders, and decision-makers.
