Employees act as internal ambassadors of the Group\u2019s strategy and its operational implementation. ENGIE is committed to helping its customers cope with energy poverty and thus not only applies the measures taken by public authorities but also implements specific actions.<br \/>\nIn France, at the beginning of 2025, ENGIE announced <a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.engie.com\/actualites\/engie-met-en-place-deux-mesures-exceptionnelles-pour-soutenir-ses-clients-en-situation-de-precarite-energetique-4b97a-ff316.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">two exceptional measures to support its customers<\/a> in a situation of energy poverty:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An extra-contribution to the \u2018Ch\u00e8que \u00c9nergie\u2019 (Energy Voucher) with a discount of \u20ac50, to compensate for the increase in electricity taxes. Nearly 700,000 ENGIE customers who benefited from the Energy Voucher in 2024 to pay their electricity and\/or natural gas bills have been eligible.<\/li>\n<li>A doubling of its contribution to the \u2018Fonds Solidarit\u00e9 Logement\u2019 (FSL) for the year 2025, bringing its support to \u20ac 12 million. ENGIE has committed to this action since 2007, contributing \u20ac 6 million per year since 2010. The Group\u2019s contribution had already exceptionally doubled in 2022. Managed by the local administration and metropolitan areas in charge of it, the FSL provides financial assistance to residential customers seeking support to pay housing-related expenses, including their energy bills. In 2025, the FSL helped close to 170,000 households, whether ENGIE customers or not, with an average aid of \u20ac 235.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Furthermore, an additional 150-day extension of protection associated with the Energy Voucher has been granted, supplementing the 90 days already stipulated by regulations. This measure ensures that customers receiving assistance in 2024 will not experience a lapse in protection until the 2025 Energy Voucher distribution period begins in November. ENGIE is thus reaffirming its commitment to energy solidarity by going well beyond regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n<p>On a daily basis, ENGIE provides concrete assistance to its vulnerable customers in the territories to help them manage their energy budge and engage in the energy transition. Its local correspondents offer social workers, social \u00a0mediation partners and consumer associations a range of support solutions such as:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tools dedicated to social partners so that they can appropriately and immediately respond to requests from customers in difficulty:\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/servicessociaux.engie.fr\/\">The Solidarit\u00e9 ENGIE portal<\/a>: created in April 2018, its use has increased for the 6th consecutive year and continues to be praised by users ; in 2025, nearly 174,000 requests were submitted by social partners and more than 22,600 users were counted.<\/li>\n<li>A dedicated phone line for social workers (0 815 500 560) is also available from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to provide them with a prompt response. In 2025, more than 38,000 calls were received and handled by ENGIE Solidarit\u00e9 advisors with an accessibility rate of 91%.<\/li>\n<li>ENGIE relies on a network of mediation partners with more than 120 Welcome Points across the territory at the and of 2025<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Furthermore, to simplify the customer journey, inform them about available aid and promote free advice and services, ENGIE created <a href=\"https:\/\/particuliers.engie.fr\/aide-contact\/espace-solidarite.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a Solidarity page<\/a> on the public ENGIE website in December 2023. In 2025, 243,000 connections were counted.
