Practices<\/p>\n<p>In a bid to reduce energy expenditures and the carbon footprint of high schools in this French region located south of Paris, ENGIE is implementing a comprehensive and tailored solution.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n            <\/div>\n            \n                    <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div id=\"block_af2c62ffba0b13c2be63421bd75fd016\" class=\"cp-wysiwyg teq-container class=\"teq-wysiwyg\">\n                <div data-trad data-trad-html><p>The comprehensive energy performance contract signed in 2020 between the Centre-Val de Loire Region and ENGIE encompasses an extensive 1.1 million square meter real estate portfolio, comprising 62 high schools and the Regional Contemporary Art Fund (FRAC) of Orl\u00e9ans.<\/p>\n<p>Through the modernization of old technical installations and the optimized utilization of more recent ones, this ambitious project aims to <strong>decrease the energy consumption<\/strong> of the concerned establishments<strong> by over 30%<\/strong> and <strong>reduce CO2 emissions by nearly 35%<\/strong> over the 15-year contract duration.<\/p>\n<h3>ENGIE&#8217;s Solution: A Three-Phase Approach<\/h3>\n<p>Rolled-out over a two-year period, the energy renovation involved replacing 660 pieces of equipment. ENGIE is now applying its expertise in maintaining these installations. This component of the contract extends until 2035, coupled with a commitment to deliver results. All technical equipment has been interconnected to enable the management and scheduling of preventive maintenance, as well as technical and regulatory performance.<\/p>\n<p>Finally, ENGIE&#8217;s intervention extends to user awareness. 45,000 students and 5,000 administrative and teaching staff benefit from a program designed to familiarize them with energy demand management
