Inauguration of ENGIE's corporate R&D center, research at the service of energy transition

By ENGIE - 22 September 2020 - 16:00

Today, Tuesday 22 September, we are inaugurating the ENGIE CRIGEN Lab, ENGIE’s corporate R&D centre established in Stains in January 2020.

A dedicated platform will enable 700 guests to follow the inaugural ceremony live, together with addresses by Jean-Pierre Clamadieu, Chairman of the ENGIE Board of Directors, Claire Waysand, Interim CEO and Azzédine Taïbi, Mayor of Stains, in the presence of Bernard Larrouturou, Director of Research and Innovation at the French Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, and of Eric Cesari, Vice-President of the Metropolis responsible for Strategy and Institutional Partnerships.

Adeline Duterque, Director of the ENGIE CRIGEN Lab, will introduce us to the facilities at the new centre.

This inaugural day will focus on our researchers, the market place for our innovative solutions and projects, videos, photos and interviews with lab managers. All these will give an insight into the CRIGEN Lab and - even more so - the world of ENGIE research, a true ecosystem for innovation and an accelerator of the carbon-neutral transition.

More broadly, this inauguration is part of a key “Innovation and R&D” event, which includes the launch of the Innovation Festival, to be held for the first time from Tuesday 22 to Friday 25 September 2020, and which will bring together all those involved in innovation within the Group.
