Field Technician Turbines
EMS(European Maintenance Support) is a part of the ENGIE Group that carries out specialized maintenance work across Belgium and Europe (mainly the Netherlands and France). Within the Powertrain (Generators and Gas & Steam Turbines) team, we are looking for a Field Technician Turbines who wants to develop into a specialist in the field.

YOUR RESPONSABILITIES as a Field Technician Turbines
- Maintenance Operations: Organize, coordinate, and perform mechanical maintenance on industrial gas and steam turbines.
- Project Preparation: Collaborate with engineers to define the scope, planning, and execution strategy for each maintenance project.
- Flexible Roles: Depending on the assignment, take on responsibilities as a field technician, site supervisor, or both.
- Team Leadership & Logistics: As a site supervisor, manage resources, order materials, and lead teams of colleagues and subcontractors.
- Problem Solving & Safety: Respond to unplanned incidents, troubleshoot turbine issues hands-on, and ensure safety compliance at all times.
YOUR PROFILE as a Field Technician Turbines
· You are mechanically skilled (A2/bachelor/graduate electromechanics).
· Experience in maintenance of turbines, aircraft engines, derivative gas turbines, wind turbines or large rotating equipment is a plus.
· You are fluent in English and willing to obtain medio level (B2) in French or Dutch.
· You are flexible in terms of working hours and workplace. You see varying hourly schedules (day, shifts, weekends) as 'part of the job'. You are willing to perform work at our various sites in Belgium and abroad (mainly France and the Netherlands, max. 30%).
· Your sense of ownership ensures that you don't cut corners and remain involved in a project until its completion.

· a basic salary that is indexed monthly and supplemented by different premiums depending on the work regime (shift premium), the place where you work (mobility premium) and the number of overtime hours worked (overtime premium and compensation through leave days).
· Annual double vacation pay, collective bonus and year-end bonus.
· 20 leave days + 13 ADV days + all days to compensate for overtime worked.
