EMS (European Maintenance Support) is part of the ENGIE Group that executes specialized maintenance activities in different power plants in Belgium and Europe (mostly The Netherlands and France).
Inside the Electrical Engineering team, we are currently looking for an extra Electrical Project Engineer (M/F/X).
YOUR MISSION as an Electrical Project Engineer (M/F/X):
- High Voltage and Electrical Protection: Work with high voltage equipment like transformers, cables, and switchgear to ensure electrical safety and efficiency.
- Project Management: Manage the technical aspects of a large-scale battery project in Europe, supporting the main project manager throughout all phases.
- Expertise Development: Grow your skills in high voltage and electrical protection to support various sites, initiating and completing improvement projects.
- Problem Solving: Conduct root-cause analyses and implement solutions for any issues or non-conformities during projects and maintenance.
- Team Collaboration and Learning: Collaborate with diverse teams and continuously enhance your knowledge through internal processes and networking events.
YOUR PROFILE as Electrical Project Engineer (M/F/X):
- You hold a Master Degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering in Electricity/Power Systems/Energy/Mathematics /Physics.
- You have a professional knowledge of English and French/Dutch.
- You hold strong analytical skills, you are a problem solver and want to further develop your knowledge in the electrical field in order to become a reference in this domain inside and outside ENGIE.
- You’re a true team player who works together towards common goals.
- You are a good communicator and are able to collaborate with various types of people: both technicians and engineers.

- A permanent contract (38h.) with a competitive salary package consisting of:
- A monthly salary according to your technical knowledge and experience. Annual salary increase in January according to scales of the energy sector.

WORKPLACE
EMS Headquarter in Belgium is in Linkebeek but projects/longer missions can be in Belgium, France, Netherlands, Germany, UK

- When positive, an external assessment center (via Hudson) will be organized.
