The key facts on our renewable energies

By ENGIE - 07 December 2020 - 18:34

Did you know that ENGIE is targeting 9 GW of additional renewable capacity by the end of 2021? We have doubled our installed solar and wind power capacity since 2016. In 2019, we installed 3 GW of new renewable capacity, four times more than the previous year! Current capacities, potential and development objectives: let's take a closer look at how ENGIE is accelerating each of the renewable energies.

Our 2020 report on renewable energy sources

Sneak preview! To find out all about our progress in renewable energy, take a look at the 2020 edition of the ENGIE Renewable Energy Sources Outlook. Just like for our Energy transition dashboard, our experts have worked meticulously to draw up a report of renewable energy in France and worldwide, based on reliable outside sources. Every renewable energy source - biogas, solar, wind, etc. - was analysed carefully. Our current renewable capacity and our development targets are also featured. This essential document provides a key to the energy transition, renewable energy being one of the main drivers of decarbonised power generation, which is vital if we are to achieve carbon neutrality.
