TECH'DAYS: The place to be for young people and technical professions in the energy sector

By ENGIE - 19 April 2024 - 14:26

Passion, know-how, and discovery are the 3 words that sum up this event. Held on April 5th in Tremblay en France, 150 apprentices from the Energy Transition Academy, ENGIE's apprentice training center, had the opportunity to exchange ideas with the Group's Technical Ambassadors and discover professions of the future. These meetings were designed to encourage vocations in ENGIE's technical professions, while promoting the ENGIE Communau'Tech.

On this occasion, our future technicians met Catherine MacGregor. It was a privileged moment that enabled them to discover a world of possibilities where the challenges of technical professions meet individual aspirations.

What is ENGIE's Energy Transition Academy?

The CFA has centres in the the following regions: Ile-de-France, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Occitanie, Hauts-de-France, Nouvelle-Aquitaine and Pays-de-la-Loire regions of France. Its extensive geographic network and high-quality learning content, designed in conjunction with renowned specialist training organisations, explain the CFA's success. Besides, the CFA offers courses leading to recognised qualifications, from vocational baccalauréat to bachelor's degree. The Academy is a means of drawing more and more young people, aged between 16 and 29, particularly women, to the technical professions the Group will be relying on in the future. It is also aimed at adults retraining to switch careers.
