What You Can Expect

As the Construction Management Advisor (CMA) in ENGIE, Distributed Energy Solution (DES) you will oversee ENGIE’s construction sites and subcontractors, provide baseline/milestone/look-ahead schedule, ensuring site safety practices, and uphold quality assurance/control measures are provided for the installations. These projects include, but are not limited to, a combination of energy conservation measures (ECM) and renewable generation projects such as Photovoltaic Solar, Battery Energy Storage Solutions (BESS), high-efficiency HVAC, Energy Management Systems (EMS), high-efficiency transformers, LED lighting, lighting control systems. You will work closely with the Project Directors and Managers during the project execution phase to lead all aspects of delivering the project to our clients. This position is in California and is field based role; you will be on site every day during the construction period.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of seven (7) years of construction management experience
  • Technical experience and or training with electrical, mechanical, lighting projects
  • Scheduling experience with Microsoft Project or comparable software
  • Past experience working with Project Inspectors and Field Engineers
  • Experience in construction projects, working at sites, managing subcontractors, contracts administration and change management
  • Experienced in preparing and executing Health & Safety, Environmental, Quality Assurance and Quality Control Plans
  • In depth knowledge of project engineering for technical consult and QA/QC inspections
  • Ability to coordinate customer requirements for site access and security for contractors (including keys/ alarms); works with customer sites’ schedules/constraints to minimize construction impact to build occupants

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role requires attendance at a worksite on a daily basis
  • Must be available to travel domestically (via car) up to 80% of the time
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record with the ability to drive to site locations

Compensation

Salary Range: $112,000 – $172,500 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

As our, Construction Manager Senior in Washington, DC, you will be a key member of the Capital Projects Team who is responsible for the development, design, and execution of multiple Utility System Capital Improvement and Efficiency projects. What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or in a technical field from an ABET institution or equivalent in demonstrated experience
  • Minimum of Five (5) years experience in management of construction for industrial or municipal projects with demonstrated success
  • You have advanced understanding of design, construction and operations of thermal plants; and sound knowledge of campus and/or district energy systems
  • You have experience demonstrating strong familiarity with DC construction codes and permitting requirements of the Department of Buildings (DOB) and, the Department of Licensing and Consumer Protection (DLCP)
  • You know how to prepare and execute Health & Safety, Environmental, Quality Assurance and Quality Control plans for Capital Improvement and Efficiency projects 
  • You feel confident partnering with assigned Project Engineer, which is usually an external contractor, to develop a project procedures manual.  This reference shall provide the framework for construction addressing mechanical, civil, electrical, instrumentation & controls and administrative fundamental requirements. Coordinates with Project Engineer for technical consult and QA/QC inspections
  • You are comfortable sharing opines on constructability through the review of Contractor plans, determining if special operator access or maintenance provisions are required
  • You know how to develop weekly reports on construction progress for Project Manager; inform the monthly management report
  • You know how to develop and oversee the Construction Risk Management Process
  • You have experience supporting the Project Manager with Technical/Commercial oversight including:
    • Review of Change Requests, Directives
    • Review of monthly payment applications from Contractors and Construction Administrators
  • You have worked in an environment where you have orchestrated the design of traffic control prior to construction activities

What You Can Expect

As a Water Plant Operator Trainee at The University of Iowa campus, you will learn to operate all plant machinery and treatment processes necessary to safely produce drinking water for our customers across the campus.

 

Each day begins with a meeting or handoff between shifts to discuss current plant conditions and tasks to be completed. You and your supervising licensed Grade IV  Water  Plant Operator will start with rounds, conducting required tests across the plant, checking pH and chlorine levels, and monitoring water flows. You'll also conduct walkthroughs, backwash filters, inspect chemical pumps, ensure completion of shift-specific tasks, interpret test results, make chemical adjustments, and handle industrial hygiene or housekeeping duties such as cleaning the lime slaker. Additionally, you'll adjust machinery and chemicals to match flow changes, monitor alarms and equipment status changes, perform minor repairs when necessary, and notify management or maintenance as needed. Ensuring that logs are up-to-date and communicating any changes in operating status to the oncoming shift are also key responsibilities.

 

The ultimate goal of the trainee role is to prepare employees and help them gain experience to become Level II Water Treatment Operators, which requires two years of experience or a combination of experience and higher education.

 

The facility operates 24/7, and shifts rotate regularly (every 2 months). You must be available to work holidays, weekends, and nights as required.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum education level of a High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Candidate must have experience or be willing to learn basic applied chemistry and mathematics for calculating flows, and for safely measuring and applying treatment chemicals
  • Trainees must obtain a valid Grade II Water Treatment Plant Operator license within 2 years of employment
  • Advanced levels of education will reduce the required experience necessary for licensure eligibility according to Iowa Department of Natural Resources regulations

What You Can Expect

The Senior Project Manager will support and manage energy conservation measures (ECMs) in buildings that reduce energy consumption and help Georgtown move towards a 40% reduction in energy use by 2031. The ECM Project Manager will be a part of the Georgetown Energy Partners (GEP) capital projects team based at Georgetown University’s campus. This team is responsible for managing utility infrastructure capital projects associated with expanding and maintaining the utility system on the campus.

 

  • Facilitate construction management and the review of mechanical designs – as well as the permits  that support the long term energy reduction vision for the campus.
  • Responsible for assignments within the ECM Program that will include scope development, estimates, stakeholder management, contracting, cost development, cost tracking, project execution, commissioning, and closeout.
  • Work with the University stakeholders, ENGIE colleagues, and ENGIE contractors, including engineers, architects, construction firms, and other contractors to develop and execute projects.
  • Utilize existing and develop new budgets and cost tracking devices. Provide input to long term financial planning.  Issue contracts, contract change orders and process invoices.
  • Monitor project progress in design and construction phases through regular contractor and stakeholder interaction both virtually and in person on work sites.
  • Manage the relationship with university stakeholders during the audit, development, and execution of capital projects. 
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with the ENGIE subsidiaries and our partners.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with the University staff.  

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Seven plus years of experience in related field.  Candidates with more experience will also be considered. 
  • Bachelor of Science in a relevant area, mechanical engineering preferred.
  • Strong acumen in construction management, stakeholder management, permitting and building automation systems (BAS).
  • Experience with financial and contractual aspects of capital projects in addition to technical and organizational structures.
  • PMP certification is a plus
  • Strong Management and leadership skills
  • Ability to work on achieving and potentially exceed targets as a team
  • Knowledge of modern management tools in continuous improvement

What You Can Expect

At our United Launch Alliance location, the role of the Plant Manager is both crucial and dynamic. overseeing a utility plant that provides essential steam, compressed air and chilled water for a sprawling 1.5 million square foot rocket assembly facility. This plant is responsible for delivering 165kpph of 100psig steam through five robust CB800LE fire-tube boilers and 8,000 tons of 40°F chilled water via six powerful York centrifugal chillers. Beyond these, the plant also manages cooling towers, feedwater systems, softened water systems, hot water loops, and HVAC systems—all to maintain a precisely controlled, de-humidified environment at 72 degrees.

 

Every day brings a new set of challenges and opportunities. As Plant Manager, your days are filled with responsibilities that span across operation, maintenance, financial oversight, and administration. A key part of your role is to manage a comprehensive safety program that meets or exceeds all Federal and State requirements, ensuring the plant operates safely for the public, employees, and the facility itself. You’ll foster a safety-conscious work environment, aligning with ENGIE One Safety rules, and ensure all company policies, legal requirements, and good utility practices are consistently followed. 

 

Environmental stewardship is another critical aspect of your role. You’re tasked with protecting the plant’s operating permits by adhering to environmental legislation, developing procedures to prevent incidents, and accurately monitoring and reporting emissions. You’ll ensure that personnel are well-trained in the handling of dangerous goods and that environmental compliance is continuously promoted.

 

Utilizing a sophisticated computer-based maintenance management system, you’ll keep track of equipment commissioning, operations, and maintenance, identifying trends, taking corrective actions, and optimizing performance to maximize the plant’s efficiency and capacity.  Collaboration with various stakeholders is integral to your job. You’ll work with safety committees, insurance consultants, and the Corporate Safety team to implement risk-based programs and respond promptly to recommendations. Emergency plans will be developed and executed under your watch, and you’ll coordinate with the corporate Risk Manager to report and address any losses or claims.  Managing personnel is another key responsibility. You’ll oversee staff performance, enhance their technical skills, and handle performance evaluations, merit increases, and disciplinary actions fairly and consistently. Ensuring that all employees understand and adhere to policies and procedures is vital.  On the financial side, you’ll prepare and manage annual operating plans and budgets, monitor variances, and provide timely reports. Your role also involves supporting business development efforts by fostering local relationships and assisting in commercial contracts and opportunities.  In every aspect of the job, from maintaining good relations with suppliers, customers, and contractors to ensuring innovative public and community relations, your role as Plant Manager is pivotal to the facility's success. Balancing safety, efficiency, compliance, and budgetary constraints, you’ll drive operational excellence and contribute to the broader goals of the company.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of Seven (7) years of progressive experience in a related industry. With demonstrate experience in leadership as well as technical, and functional management 
  • A minimum of Five (5) years of direct experience in supervision of technical, operating or maintenance personnel.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy. Include the type of assignments and accuracy needed

Additional Details

  • Due to United Lauch Alliance security requirements you must be a citizen of the United States of America
  • This role requires attendance at a worksite on a daily basis
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 10% of the time with the need for some overnight trips
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record usage of company provided vehicles is required
  • Climb stairs and ladders
  • Work at heights and with adverse conditions during operation and when participating in fire and emergency activities
  • Enter and work in a confined space
  • Lift 50 lbs. of weight
  • Eyesight corrected to 20/40 to accurately read and interpret instruments and gauge
  • Pass a respirator physical and respirator fit test
  • Hear and understand audible alarms, detect changes in noise levels of rotating equipment and portable radio communication
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
  • Ability to use a company issued  computer, Microsoft Office Suite, effectively communicate via email, present via PowerPoint, to Corporate Leadership and Stakeholders
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies;
  • This position consist of 25% of outdoor work, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions

 

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $128,400 – $196,765 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
