Thanks to an increase in business activity, we are currently recruiting a Nuclear Engineer – Dismantling Activities  for our  Radiation Protection,  Radwaste & Decommissioning Competence Centre team “Radiological Characterization” that is part of the D&D Department. 

 

 

Your mission  
As ‘Design Engineer Dismantling Activities’, you are responsible for the sound roll-out of all the projects, tasks and responsibilities entrusted to you (which could possibly require onsite interventions in Tihange or Doel sites). In close collaboration with your colleagues and your team leader, you contribute to the preparation of bids, the Engineering Studies and the projects in the field of Dismantling of Nuclear facilities.  

 

 

Your key responsibilities  

  • conducting technical studies for the dismantling of nuclear facilities;
  • writing technical specifications, follow-up of orders and commissioning of nuclear decommissioning processes;
  • writing offers;
  • verifying the technical work performed by your peers;
  • correctly applying the Integrated Management System (IMS) procedures;
  • providing regular feedback concerning ongoing activities to your hierarchy ;
  • actively engaging in knowledge sharing, identifying and promote synergies with other teams.
  • You will collaborate actively with your colleagues from Project Management and CC departments, and build a close relationship while working for the same goal, activily developing cross department projects for your clients. 
  • You embody the image and values of Tractebel and the ENGIE group (Ethics, QHSE,…) in all your contacts, both inside and outside the ENGIE group, and other external stakeholders.

 
 

We would love to hear from people with 

  • A Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering / Sciences; 
  • French or Dutch and English;
  • At least 5 years of experience in the nuclear sector
  • Knowledge of the Belgian Nuclear Ecosystem;
  • Working principles of a Nuclear Power Plant (type Pressurized Water Reactor).

Your mission  
As Senior Civil Works Site Engineer in our Proximity department of the Metier ‘Civil Engineering & Infra’, part of the Business Area Nuclear, you will address the technical follow-up of the civil works related to the different projects that are ongoing and will be realized in the frame of

  • Long Term Operations – namely the projects associated to the life time extension of Doel 4;
  • Decommissioning and Dismantling – namely both the new build and modifications associated to the final shutdown of Doel 1,  2 and 3;
  • Plant Operational Support – namely the civil works assistance we deliver to the operational power plants (e.g. from maintenance works for cooling towers or other important structures, to completely new build structures, as e.g. Spent Fuel Storage Facilities);

You will join the Site Team under the mentorship of the Site Lead.


 

Your key responsibilities  

  • interfacing between Tractebel’s back office, the Client and Contractors realizing the works;
  • inspecting the Contractors’ execution activities, verifying compliance with execution drawings and documents (erection methodology etc.);
  • verifying and monitoring of Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) requirements;
  • management of the technical interfaces between Contractors;
  • management and follow up of main design modifications;
  • participation to regular meetings with the stakeholders: progress, challenges, interfaces, HSE, etc.;
  • drafting work orders and site orders, issuing notes on the execution and shortcomings, and checking the progress reports prepared by the Contractors;
  • continually exchanging information on developments in work, studies, etc.;
     


We would love to hear from people with  

  • a Master degree in civil/structural engineering;
  • relevant professional experience in an engineering or contractor’s environment, including design assignments and erection follow-up, preferably in an industrial environment is an advantage;
  • fluency in Dutch, and either French or English;

Your mission  

As Senior Structural Engineer in our Design Brussels Civil Works department of the Metier ‘Civil Engineering & Infra’, part of the Business Area Nuclear, you will contribute to our mission everyday by playing a crucial role in  a wide variety of civil construction activities. Those activities are ranging from newbuilt projects that often run over several years, short-term renovation projects as well as punctual assistance to the Operator. From a technical point of view, you will work with a broad range of disciplines. You will manage the interface between Client, Operator and the team.

 


Your key responsibilities  

  • You oversee the design and calculations of nuclear related structures and building subjected to internal and external hazards;
  • You perform structural analyses using FEM code;
  • You participate actively in the dynamic analysis of nuclear structures and components to various hazards: earthquake, gas explosion, tornado, plane crash accident;
  • You participate in the writing of technical specifications (design requirements) and the review of technical documents issued by the Contractor;
  • You participate in the preparation of offers or the invitation to tender;
  • Mentoring of Junior Calculation Engineers  and sharing your experience and expertise with the team 
  • You check calculation notes of less experienced engineers according to the QA policy of the company.

 

 

 

We would love to hear from people with 

  • A Civil Engineering degree with at least 20 years of experience in structural analysis and design;
  • Knowledge of international codes and standards (Eurocodes as well as American Standards such as ASCE, ACI, USNRC (SRP and RG), …);
  • The capability of predicting the response of structures under static and dynamic loading;
  • Experience in general purpose Finite Element and structural codes (such as ANSYS, SCIA, ..) for static loads or dynamic loads , in case of linear or non-linear analysis ;
  • A strong background in design of concrete structure against earthquake, explosion, tornado and plane crash accident is required;
  • Knowledge of nuclear domain and safety (this is a must);
  • Knowledge in concrete aging mechanisms is an asset;

Your mission
As Project Controller – Middle East in our Finance & Administration team, you will contribute to our mission every day by playing a crucial role in driving financial performance and project governance within the Middle East region.

You will be responsible for supporting the Regional Finance Controller in integrating financial standards and systems, as well as ensuring the financial health and compliance of projects. Your mission will include working closely with Project Managers, the Operations team, and the Accounting team, ensuring the accuracy of financial data, challenging project performance, and supporting overall business development through sound financial management.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Support the Finance Controller and CFO in deploying and integrating the finance organization across the Middle East, including implementing group standards and systems.
  • Challenge and support Project Managers on the financial performance of their projects.
  • Review and monitor project status, budgets, forecasts, and estimates.
  • Collaborate with entities to produce monthly and quarterly financial statements, KPIs, and budgets.
  • Manage and improve financial reporting systems, project account codes, timesheets, and adherence to CFO instructions related to project financials.
  • Set up and ensure procedures related to statutory reporting and reconciliation processes under ENGIE Tractebel Group standards.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely client invoicing in coordination with the project teams.
  • Analyze SG&A, working capital, cash flow, bonds, risks & opportunities, and foreign exchange impacts.

Missions

 

  • You will be part of renewable product (wind, solar, and BESS) and report to Head of Renewable APAC.
  • Lead or participate in wind, or solar, or BESS technical assignment with ensuring compliance with industrial best practice, standards, and regulations.
  • Conduct site survey or site inspection for the greenfield or brownfield as per the scope and assignment, techno-commercial feasibility study, conceptual design, technical due diligence, tender documents and tendering process, and project construction and execution.
  • Conduct technical analyses or software simulations for wind or solar power plant (or BESS) to develop plant layout, conceptual design, energy yield assessment, or validate plant performance.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in wind, solar, BESS, or other renewable technologies and integrate them into projects.
  • You will bring a direct support to the Project Manager for successful coordination of project.
  • Under the guidance of the project manager, you will be able to monitor the planning, the budget, the safety aspects and the technical quality of the project.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, providing guidance and technical expertise.
  • Coordinate or share technical expertise with the engineering and project management team.
  • Report the project status to the supervisor on a regular basis.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the renewable energy projects including but not limited to technical due diligence, techno – commercial feasibility study, EPC tendering, etc.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and renewable energy technologies (wind, solar, or BESS).
  • Experience with relevant software tools (e.g., Windpro, or PVsyst, or HomerPro, etc).
  • Ability to work autonomously and be proactive.
  • Dynamic and have great interpersonal skills, willing to learn and good team player.
  • Solid reporting and communication skills, able to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Fluency in Thai and English, both verbal and written skills.
  • You are willing to travel for short term missions for project or training purposes.
  • The position is based in Bangkok (Two Pacific Tower - Nana BTS Station).

Votre mission

En tant que Représentant Local Métier Sécurité Incendie, au sein de notre département Safety & Engineering, vous agirez comme référent technique local pour les activités incendie sur projets nucléaires.


Vos principales responsabilités

  • Assurer un rôle de conseil technique et de coordination locale avec les équipes projet

  • Encadrer et faire monter en compétence les ingénieurs locaux

  • Conduire des études de risques, de faisabilité et de dimensionnement des systèmes incendie (eau, gaz, détection, etc.)

  • Réaliser audits, diagnostics et modélisations (fumée, incendie, explosion, inondation)

  • Contribuer aux analyses réglementaires et normatives

  • Participer au développement de méthodes et outils internes


Nous aimerions faire la connaissance de personnes ayant

  • +10 ans d’expérience en sécurité incendie industrielle, dont +5 ans dans le nucléaire

  • Maîtrise de la réglementation incendie, des analyses de risque, et des outils de simulation (FDS/Pyrosim, Magic, Flashcat...)

  • Excellente communication écrite et orale en français et anglais

  • Maîtrise des outils bureautiques et esprit de synthèse
