Job summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP) and staff claims management, as well as the opportunity to collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization.

Job responsibilities:

Accounts Payable (AP):

  • Process and verify invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in maintaining vendor records and payment schedules.
  • Support timely and accurate processing of payments to vendors.
  • Perform account reconciliations and assist in resolving discrepancies.
  • Monitoring of payable aging report, reconcile accounts and prepare vendor payment included overseas payment (if any).

Staff Claims Management:

  • Review and validate staff claims for adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the processing of approved claims for reimbursement.
  • Maintain and update claim records in the finance system.
  • Coordinate with staff to resolve claim-related queries or issues.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as HR and department heads, to streamline processes.
  • Communicate with external vendors to ensure seamless payment processing.
  • Act as a point of contact for staff inquiries regarding claims and payments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles.
  • Computer literacy (Excel, Word & Power-point)

    What You Can Expect

    As the Vice President of IT for ENGIE Energy Marketing North America (EEMNA), you will lead the strategy, design, and execution of the IT landscape that powers our trading and energy management operations.     Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer EEMNA, your roles and responsibilities include:

    • Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing IT organization

    What You’ll Bring

    • Proven success designing and implementing enterprise IT systems, ideally in a trading or energy management environment
    • Experience managing IT budgets, forecasting, and resource planning
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and scale global IT teams
    • Strong command of data analysis, business operations, and digital innovation
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
    • Prior experience in a global organization, preferably within the energy sector

    Additional Details

    • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
    • Must be available to travel domestically / internationally up to 10% of the time with the need for some overnight trips

    Compensation

    Salary Range: $205,485 – $342,510 USD annually

     

    This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

    The Role:

    Minimum Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree or the foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field and 5 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s experience as a Data Engineer, Senior Data Integration Engineer, Senior Technical Specialist, Lead Engineer, Technical Lead, Project Engineer, Programmer Analyst or a closely related information technology position.  Experience to include:

    Power Congestion Analytics and System Planning Manager
