Job Purpose:

     The Data Center Facilities BMS/DCIM Operator is responsible to supervise and control the operation of the building management system (BMS) & Data Center infrastructure Management (DCIM) System and monitor all Electrical, ELV, and fire/life safety equipment, HVAC plant activities of the Data center building services within the data center is operating at peak efficiency. Maintaining and monitoring the level of temperature in equipment’s and trouble notifying against the DCIM alarms. The Operator serves as an expert technical resource reporting and interacting with onsite Engineers and any third-party vendors. Data center equipment that supports mission-critical servers must maintain better than 99.999% uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operates and maintains Building Management System (BMS) for proper function and monitors the DCIM against approved benchmarks to include; HVAC, Lighting, Fire Suppression, Generator, Plumbing, and Electrical
  • Carry out routine checks for correct operation of all control equipment as directed by Facility Engineer
  • Monitor the operation of the HVAC control systems using the BMS/DCIM to monitor performance.
  • Adjust variables and provide adjustment as required to ensure systems are operating correctly within parameters
  • Monitor and record values of HVAC systems to build up a database of records to provide data for energy efficiency improvement.
  • Communicate all maintenance and repair actions in writing for information to management as required.
  • Should follow the Protocols if any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time.
  • Monitors and verifies operation of all BMS/DCIM field devices.
  • Adjusts BMS settings and parameters to meet changing conditions, i.e., Load, Environmental, Customer needs, etc.
  • Records maintenance data and generates reports as needed.
  • Maintains job card documentation for all Alarms or changes to systems and/or equipment.
  • Monitors of fire detection alarm system, such as smoke detector, heat detector, sprinkler, and emergency exit, in coordination with Safety Function.
  • Monitors of Water tank supply level alarm, air handling unit, fresh air handling unit.
  • Monitors and controls the Fire pump system, motors, sewage pump, electrical system, water system in the Data Center building.
  • Performs miscellaneous tasks as assigned by his Facility Engineer
  • Daily checking healthiness of all facilities equipment’s and keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
  • Create the Job cards in CAFM (FSI) Mobile App as per Site requirements and close the Job cards which Engineer assigns.
  • Responding promptly and efficiently to emergencies calls.
  • Review and understand equipment and methods of operation, Electrical systems, ELV system, fire/life safety, and other systems.
  • Comply with all safety procedures and requirements
  • Support any afterhours building needs and activities as required
  • Attend training sessions and seminars.
  • Other assigned tasks as requested.

Skills Required:

 

  • Working knowledge of Electrical & ELV systems including secondary distribution, HVAC System interior systems
  • Ability to read CAD Drawings, single-line diagrams, and rough shop drawings
  • Possess strong knowledge in multiple skilled trades (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, etc)
  • Requires ability to analyze the operation of various infrastructure systems, determine the cause of problems/malfunctions, and take corrective actions as required
  • Trained and experienced in BMS/DCIM operation.
  • Vigilant with attention for detail.
  • Excellent computer operation skills.

      The pay range for this role is: $53,550-92,000

      Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data. This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Attualmente, con una copertura capillare dell’intero territorio nazionale, conta nel suo portafoglio circa 650.000 punti luce, 80 ospedali, più di 2000 scuole, 30 università e 350 comuni.

 

Che cosa farai?

Sotto la supervisione del Business Support Manager, in stretta collaborazione con i Project Manager e con l’RSPP, ti occuperai di supportare l'Area di business nella gestione e messa in atto delle misure di prevenzione e protezione dai rischi per i lavoratori nell’ambito della gestione di contratti di servizi e di lavori (cantieri temporanei e mobili) in conformità con le normative in vigore.

 

Quali saranno le tue responsabilità?

  • Collaborerai per individuare ed indicare le possibili fonti di rischio all’interno del luogo di lavoro (sopralluoghi in campo);
  • Verificherai le necessarie misure di prevenzione, protezione e controllo riguardo a ciascun tipo di rischio e supporterai i manager nella loro attuazione;
  • Compilerai, redigerai e predisporrai la documentazione inerente alla sicurezza prevista dalle procedure aziendali e dalla normativa;
  • Redigerai la documentazione necessaria all’esecuzione dei lavori da sottoporre poi a RSPP, OM e PM;
  • Verificherai l'implementazione delle misure di controllo fino al loro completamento, informando di eventuali ritardi o problemi;
  • Vigilerai sul rispetto delle misure di prevenzione e protezione in vigore;
  • Contribuirai all’individuazione dei DPI idonei allo svolgimento delle attività affidate ai lavoratori e ne promuoverai l’uso;
  • Informerai i lavoratori sui rischi del proprio lavoro, sulle regole di gruppo e sulle procedure vigenti, verificandone la corretta applicazione;
  • Verificherai la compliance normativa della documentazione aziendale relativa ai contratti gestiti;
  • Verificherai la compliance normativa della documentazione dei subappaltatori, con particolare riguardo all’idoneità tecnico professionale, in ottemperanza alle procedure interne;
  • Parteciperai alle necessarie consultazioni di aggiornamento e innovazione sulle questioni della salute e della sicurezza sul lavoro ed eventualmente alla riunione periodica;
  • Parteciperai all’analisi di eventi infortunistici o mancati infortuni / HIPO;
  • Collaborerai allo sviluppo di procedure per la sicurezza;
  • Collaborare alla preparazione degli audit ISO 45001 e ad eventuali altri audit interni.

Jouw missie  

 

Als BIM Project Manager in onze afdeling Infrastructure draag je elke dag bij aan onze missie door een cruciale rol te spelen in de digitale transformatie van onze infrastructuurprojecten.

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het implementeren en coördineren van BIM-processen binnen complexe projecten rond transportinfrastructuur, zoals wegen, tramverbindingen, luchthavens, tunnels en bruggen. Vanuit ons kantoor in Hasselt, Gent of Brussel werk je nauw samen met multidisciplinaire teams en externe stakeholders om innovatieve en duurzame oplossingen te realiseren.

Binnen de afdeling  zorg jij ervoor dat digitale modellen, data en processen perfect op elkaar afgestemd zijn. Je neemt het voortouw in het structureren en optimaliseren van BIM-werkmethodes en levert zo een directe meerwaarde aan de kwaliteit, efficiëntie en samenwerking binnen elk project.

 

Je belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden  
 

  • Toezicht houden op de kwaliteit en efficiëntie van het BIM-proces; toezicht op de productie, coördinatie en kwaliteitscontroles en je rapporteert hierover
  • Opstellen van BIM-werkprocedures;  je leidt het proces van het opstellen en organiseren van BIM-werkprocedures, inclusief het bijwerken en actualiseren van BIM-uitvoeringsplan.
  • Leiderschap in BIM-informatieprocedures; je bent verantwoordelijk voor het opbouwen en uitwisselen van BIM-informatieprocedures volgens de geldende standaarden.
  • Opstellen van BIM-planning; je schat het BIM-budget in en bereidt de BIM-planning voor in overeenstemming met de algemene projectplanning
  • Werken in teamverband is voor jou vanzelfsprekend en motiverend.
  • Je communiceert met andere project/disciplineleden.
  • Je blijft op de hoogte van evoluties in je discipline.

 
We horen graag van mensen met  
 

  • Een masterdiploma in de ingenieurswetenschappen of industriële wetenschappen, waarmee je een stevige technische basis meebrengt.
  • Minstens 3 jaar praktijkervaring met het toepassen van BIM (Building Information Modeling) binnen infrastructuurprojecten, waardoor je vertrouwd bent met de concrete uitdagingen en kansen die deze technologie biedt.
  • Diepgaande kennis van BIM-tools en digitale toepassingen, en weet hoe je deze optimaal inzet in complexe projectomgevingen.
  • Een vlotte kennis van MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) en MS Project, wat jou helpt om gestructureerd en efficiënt te werken.
  • Een perfecte kenni van het Nederlands en Engels. Een goede kennis van het Frans is een mooie troef in een meertalige werkomgeving.
