What You Can Expect

As our Sales Manager with ENGIE North America, your primary objective is to prospect and acquire new Commercial and Industrial (C&I) customers for ENGIE retail business in the New York (NYISO) & New England (NEPOOL) ISO regions to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.

This position will sit in the NYC Metro Area and will report to the Regional Vice President of Sales, ISO New England.

 

 

  • Identify and Develop Sales Opportunities: You will self-originate leads by leveraging marketing campaigns, market knowledge, data analysis, cold calling, and networking to build a strong sales pipeline within the New York/New England C&I customer territory
  • Qualify Customers and Assess Needs: You will evaluate creditworthiness using Credit Guidelines, gather consumption and account data, and assess customer needs through effective questioning and listening to deliver tailored price proposals informed by load patterns
  • Present and Align Product Offerings: You will gain in-depth knowledge of ENGIE's products and articulate how proposed solutions meet or exceed customer requirements, ensuring offers are competitive and evaluated on a like-to-like basis
  • Negotiate and Finalize Agreements: You will collaborate with brokers, customers, and legal teams to negotiate terms, ensuring alignment with margin guidance and securing agreements that maximize revenues and customer satisfaction

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a closely related discipline; In lieu of the educational requirement, we will accept a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant industry  experience in retail energy sales
  • You are persuasive at communication, effective negotiation skills, and interaction with executive-level decision-makers
  • You are a self-driven individual capable of quickly learning new products, processes, and systems
  • You have the ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism
  • You have the ability to work closely with Key Account Teams and functional support groups to close transactions with key customers, ensuring seamless service delivery and the realization of expected revenues and margins

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy, consisting of three (3) days in office and two (2) days working remotely
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record for travel and car rentals
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $99,000 – $151,800 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

Senior Data Integration Engineer in Spokane, Washington

 

Duties:   Support ENGIE Insight’s computer systems and ETL (“Extract, Transform, Load”) data integration processes.  Translate business requirements into data models that drive data warehouse or data mart design and configuration.  Work with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and approve business requirements for data analysis and reporting projects. Translate business requirements into system design specification to manage Unstructured, Transactional, Hierarchical, Master and meta data.  Design, develop and implement data integration (ETL) processes to transform unstructured and disparate source data into the target data stores, data warehouses or data mart.  Oversee implementation and maintenance of ETL processes that support feature development and testing.  Monitor data warehouse ETL processes and implementation of tuning as needed to address scalability, recoverability and performance impediment.  Provide support to ensure availability of Business Intelligence environments for internal and external users.  Provide technical leadership across ENGIE Insight’s ETL functional team.  Plan and conduct development work on data integration projects necessitating the origination and application of new and unique approaches.  Remote work is permitted from a residence within normal commuting distance of ENGIE’s Spokane worksite at manager discretion. Off-site travel to local events may be required up to 10 days per year.  

 

Minimum Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree or the foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field and 5 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s experience as a Data Engineer, Senior Data Integration Engineer, Senior Technical Specialist, Lead Engineer, Technical Lead, Project Engineer, Programmer Analyst or a closely related information technology position.  Experience to include:

 

  • 5 years developing/building data pipelines using an ETL technology.
  • 5 years developing databases in SQL or in a comparable environment.
  • 5 years using Informatica or another ETL tool.
  • 5 years performing data warehouse implementations.
  • 5 years working with XML/JSON data formats.
  • 5 years working with large data volumes.
  • 2 years using Snowflake or another data warehouse tool.
  • 2 years mentoring team members.

As our Power Congestion Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in grid modeling, analysis, and visualization of renewable generators to support power price forecasting.   • Present, negotiate, and structure complex commodity transactions, using knowledge of renewable commodity offerings to advance ENGIE’s zero-carbon targets through assigned brokers
  • Identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators by leveraging knowledge of deregulated energy markets and competitor insights
  • Break down supply proposals for an "apples to apples" comparison by thoroughly understanding ISO deregulated markets, energy components, and product offerings
  • Coordinate and manage various internal processes and resources, including Legal, Credit, Supply, Business Controls, and Operations, to close transactions and deliver expected results

What You Can Expect

As our Electrician I at The Ohio State University, you will install, operate, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair utility low, medium, and high voltage electrical utility plant, generation, and distribution systems under the general supervision of higher-level electricians and will report to the High Voltage Supervisor.
 

  • Subject to 24-hour emergency call and perform repairs, replacements, troubleshooting, and installations of electrical systems and equipment up to 600V class.
  • Assist with preventive maintenance, upgrades, and inspections of electrical utilities equipment, including lockout/tagout procedures and test equipment usage.
  • Overhaul motors, replace bearings, operate cranes, lifts, and other equipment, and maintain electrical equipment in all ENGIE operated utility plants and systems.
  • Read and update blueprints, electrical diagrams, manuals, and schematics; make sketches, modification plans, layouts, and design circuits, Maintain records and reports.
  • Assist higher-classification electricians with installation, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of 5,000-138,000 volt electrical distribution equipment, direct contractors, and will also perform other duties to safely and efficiently operate campus utility systems.

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You have a minimum High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 5 years work experience as a commercial/ industrial electrician, 4 of those years should demonstrate experience in installation and maintenance of 600V class electrical systems
  • 15kV experience is a plus but not required
  • Knowledge of basic principles of electricity and related terminology, ability to read technical manuals, schematic wiring diagrams and volt-ohm-amp testers
