Overview

Our team is growing!  Excellent opportunity for a B2B Sales Consultant – Customer Acquisition to join our Global Energy Management & Sales (GEMS) ANZ business to accelerate the transition to a carbon-neutral economy by managing allocated new business opportunities.

 

Responsibilities:

Participate in a high-activity sales environment to support customer acquisition targets by:

  • Optimising sales pipeline for effectiveness and sales performance
  • Managing allocated leads to achieve customer acquisition targets
  • Supporting team business development objectives
  • Running routine reporting on prospects and outcomes for internal and external stakeholders

Support commercial resilience; practicing precision and transparency by:

  • Following good pipeline management and compliance
  • Accurately and completely inputting relevant prospect information to CPQ systems
  • Ensuring the correct and full execution of offer documentation
  • Delivering accurate and complete contract approval and client onboarding documentation
  • Providing relevant customer communications required to implement the contract.

Increase potential of sales success through collaboration with trusted partners by:

  • Obtaining quality feedback on pricing and offer competitiveness to increase success rate
  • Managing the offer process, ensuring timely responses and effective service
  • Negotiating on acceptance of contracts and complete the contracting process
  • Conducting regular reviews with TPI and prospective customers as required.

Leverage ENGIE’s investment in technology and processes to maintain efficiency and oversight of customer acquisition operations by:

  • Updating and maintaining required information in various sales databases and CRM
  • Maintaining status of sales prospects in CRM systems
  • Providing ongoing market and competitor intelligence reporting back to the business

 

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have 5 year-experience in energy, utilities or similar industries in Australia.

The Role:

Newly created opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager to provide sound commercial advice to our Renewable and Flexible Generation teams.  The incumbent will execute the procurement, contract management and commercial strategy for the Renewable and Flexible Generation asset portfolio, including the negotiation, finalisation and ongoing administration and management of key contracts.

 

The role will be accountable to the Head of Commercial and can be worked flexibly between our Southbank office and home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that commercial terms and contract conditions are optimised and provide necessary protection to manage the Company’s risk across the Renewable and Flexible Generation Business Unit portfolios
  • Manage, in collaboration with the business development, development, delivery and operations teams, the administration of the portfolio of contracts across each asset, which includes leading the negotiation of standard terms and service level agreements with key suppliers and consultants and the resolution of contractual issues or disputes
  • Plan, coordinate and supervise key activities relating to the finalisation of major delivery contracts for the Renewable and Flexible Generation Business Unit assets, including working closely with the delivery team to lead the administration and management of those major delivery contracts.
  • Lead and coordinate the procurement of certain development, consulting, construction, operations and maintenance-related contracts and manage the tendering process, evaluation and selection of suppliers, and the contractual negotiations.
  • Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships in respect of the local supply chain and provide contractual and commercial advice to the development, delivery and operations teams to deliver improvements in performance, cost, quality and safety of renewable energy, storage and hydrogen projects and other existing assets and collaborate with those teams with respect to the identification, management, negotiation and resolution of contractual issues.

 

 

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrable commercial acumen through end-to-end delivery of contract strategy development, contract negotiation and contract administration during project development, delivery and operation.  You will have sound knowledge of procurement and commercialisation principles and renewables industry best practices and experience in delivery contract formation such as EPC. 

 

You are collaborative in your approach and able to balance both internal and external stakeholders.  You possess exceptional communication skills and can manage complexity whilst driving results.

Assistant Accountant

The Opportunity:

 

We are seeking an Assistant Accountant to work closely and support the Financial Reporting team with accounting tasks including month end journals, balance sheet reconciliations, cash matching, banking journals and transactional finance tasks such as flexi-purchase (reimbursement system) and corporate card related tasks. 

 

The role is accountable to the Finance Reporting Manager and the role can be worked flexibly between home and our Southbank office.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Prepare month end journals in an accurate and timely manner
  • Prepare and complete balance sheet reconciliations to ensure they are clear and accurate for review
  • Prepare and submit concession claims to government departments for Victoria, Queensland, NSW and South Australia for the Simply Energy retail business
  • Prepare and submit customer rebates / relief to government departments as and when required for the Simply Energy retail business
  • Prepare and send out cheque refunds for the Simply Energy retail business
  • Prepare and submit unclaimed monies for Victoria, South Australia, NSW and Queensland

 

 

About You:

 

To be successful in this role, you will be experienced with bank reconciliations and other reconciliations and have a good understanding of accounting month end processes.

 

You will have excellent time management and effective communication skills and can work well with others to achieve a common goal.

The Opportunity:

 

Newly created role within the Financial Planning & Analysis team, the Reporting Analyst will produce financial and business intelligence by querying data repositories and generating reports to guide business decisions.  The role will devise methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources and will drive continuous improvement activities including identifying and implementing enhancements across ENGIE ANZ finance reporting tools and processes, contributing to the vision for Finance Excellence in budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead and collaborate with business units to identify and design key Finance reporting needs
  • Ensure all reports and data is understandable, useable and conveys messages and insights through appropriate data visualisation techniques and methods

  • Proactively introduce and rationalise existing reports to provide insight on current business strategic priorities
