Facilities Manager

 

  • Oversee and lead a team of assistant managers, engineers, technical officers, supervisors and technicians in facilities management for commercial building / ministry building / Hospital
  • Establish good working relationships with clients and develop trust and confidence
  • Establish and maintain quality service standards
  • Take charge of the overall Air Conditioning Maintenance Ventilation system
  • Manage the daily AC thermal comfort is within the acceptable limit
  • Schedule maintenance activities for ACMV systems, tracking of maintenance works and follow up actions for systems such as chillers, AHU, FCU, fire protection, gas systems etc
  • Ensure regular meetings with client's and appointed sub providers
  • Handle Tenant’s enquires.
  • Conduct daily audit inspections to ensure the outsource service providers are performing according to their contractual obligations and SLAs.
  • Manage and liaise with external agencies on new initiatives and major repairs and maintenance works
  • Prepare tender documents and specifications, plan, coordinate and execute rectification works
  • Responsible for project costing and cost management
  • Plan training requirement for staff needs for skills improvement
  • Prepare and responsible for annual budget submission, audit report, assessment report for contractors' performance
  • Prepare and certify contractors' payment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university
  • At least 10 years of related working experience
  • Proven experience in facility management in a large facility
  • Able to work Independently and possess good interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Pro-active, independent, able to work with minimal supervision and perform under pressure

As a key participant in the implementation of Singapore new office, the purpose of the role is to support the head of Administration and Office management team and to coordinate the various streams of the project. Main activities

Role Summary

As the Senior Energy Efficiency Engineer you will have to execute the design of district cooling, chilled water systems in Singapore and building air-side systems regionally during feasibility study and front end engineering design. 

 

Reporting to the Engineering Lead, SEA Regional Technical Office, you will be part of the engineering team in our Regional Technical Office. You will work closely with Business Development teams, Construction Management team, local Singapore entity as well as our internal Digital team, Assets Performance Management team (APM) and Innovation team. You will be based in Singapore.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Execute the design for chilled water and airside energy performance contracts and district cooling systems
  • Analyse and interpret customer cooling requirements and load profiles
  • Optimise the system configuration, capacities and technology for lowest life cycle cost 
  • Provide sizing and specifications for the main equipment (chillers, pumps, thermal energy storage, cooling towers, heat exchangers, air handling units and fan coil units) with the projects constraints in mind (efficiency target, level of CAPEX, site constraints, operation and maintenance constraints…).
  • Provide optimum control strategies
  • Draft and float Requests for Proposals for external consultants, suppliers and contractors. Evaluate tender responses
  • Manage external technical consultants and review / validate their deliverable
  • Provide CAPEX and OPEX assessment, and inputs to detailed business plans such as energy/cost savings
  • Commit to the system efficiency
  • Draft technical proposals, internal memos/reports and technical content of investment files
  • Support Business Development team in discussions / presentations to the client
