The Les Echos Business daily newspaper and the digital economy expert Gilles Babinet – entrepreneur and France’s Digital Champion to the European Commission – have published the third edition of the Ecac40 survey, which measures the digital agility of major French companies. This year, ENGIE won the first prize.
“I am really pleased that our efforts have been rewarded. We have come a long way over several years and these are the fruits of a huge team effort, because the digital transformation affects the most internal processes of the company.”
Isabelle Kocher, Engie’s CEO, was visibly moved when she received the first prize of the eCAC40 Trophies last Thursday, during an evening event in Paris that brought together the main French players in the digital transformation.
“For ENGIE, it is as important to master the digital transformation as the activities of the energy business themselves!”
