The future of energy with KiWi Power (UK) and ENGIE EPS (France)

With 993 MWs managed across 11 countries, KiWi Power provides best in-class Demand Management solutions. KiWi Power enables its global customers and partners to manage their electricity consumption in a sustainable fashion. ENGIE invested in KiWi Power in 2015 and 2018.
ENGIE EPS focuses on energy storage systems and microgrids, enabling the paradigm shift in the global energy system towards renewable sources and decentralized energy production. ENGIE EPS relies on an installed production capacity of 400 MW and 47 MWh of installed storage. ENGIE acquired EPS in 2018.

Access to energy with Fenix International (Africa)

Part of the ENGIE Group, Fenix International is a next-generation, end-to-end renewable energy company that does everything from design, manufacturing, sales, financing and customer service. Fenix’s flagship product, ReadyPay Power, is an expandable, lease-to-own home solar system financed through ultra-affordable instalments over Mobile Money. Fenix uses real-time transaction data to create a next-generation credit score to finance power upgrades or other life-changing loans. To date, Fenix has 300,000 ReadyPay Power systems customers and is growing its product portfolio and geographic coverage to bring power and a wider world of financing to millions of customers by 2020. ENGIE Africa acquired Fenix in 2017.

Smart mobility in a smart world with “Charge and go” by ENGIE Ineo (worldwide) and Streetlight Data (USA)

Charge and Go is a “plug and play” solution that enables up to 20 buses to be charged simultaneously and up to 40 to be connected. This breakthrough innovation will contribute to the transition towards electrically-powered transportation.

Streetlight Data, partner of ENGIE New Venture, gives access to real-world transportation data quickly, easily, and affordably with their on-demand analytics platform. ENGIE invested in Streetlight Data in 2016.

Connectivity with Flashnet (Romania) and Unabiz (Singapore)

Flashnet is a tech company that integrates the latest IT, energy and telecommunications technologies into hardware and software solutions, creating and implementing intelligent systems for smarter cities and better infrastructure. ENGIE acquired Flashnet in July 2018.

UnaBiz provides IoT connectivity through SIGFOX’s low-power wide-area network (LPWAN) in Singapore and Taiwan. ENGIE invested in ENGIE in UnaBiz in august 2018.

Blockchain solution with Blockchain Studio (France)

Blockchain Studio democratizes the usage of Blockchain technology for business giving the ability to develop applications on Blockchain to facilitate transactions and generate new revenues without requiring technical skills. ENGIE and MALTEM come together to found BLOCKCHAIN STUDIO in September 2018.
