“Les sifflets” [Whistles]: the Soccer Foundation's first commercial

On March 28 this year, the French Soccer Foundation marked the match between Lithuania and France — a qualifier for the 2010 World Cup — with the first stage in an advertising campaign designed to encourage supporters to be more respectful in their behavior. The purpose of the commercial is to remind fans that soccer is above all a learning space, all about friendly rivalry, tolerance and communication.
This campaign is a direct reflection of the Soccer Foundation’s role: to promote the sport’s communicative and educational virtues and its contribution to the public good and community cohesion. GDF SUEZ, which has supported the Soccer Foundation in its activities through an active partnership since its creation in February 2008, shares these values.
