Missão

 

A pessoa selecionada será integrada na equipa Operação e Manutenção, no nosso Departamento do Solar Distribuído. Será responsável por garantir a manutenção de parques fotovoltaicos.

 

O que pode esperar

 

  • Operação e Manutenção de centrais fotovoltaicas no solo e em cobertura;
  • Efetuar tarefas de manutenção preventiva e corretiva em várias instalações;
  • Diagnóstico de problemas elétricos, mecânicos e telecomunicações;
  • Elaboração de relatórios detalhados das tarefas desenvolvidas;
  • Interpretação e análise de esquemas elétricos;
  • Cumprir as normas de Qualidade, Ambiente, Energia e Segurança do Grupo Engie e do cliente;
  • Zelar pela implementação e cumprimento das políticas e regras do grupo ENGIE.

 

 

Quem procuramos

 

  • Curso de técnico de eletricidade (12ºAno ou equivalente) ou experiência comprovada na função de eletricista (preferencial);
  • Experiência em manutenção/instalação elétrica (preferencial);
  • Experiência em trabalhos com equipamentos de corte (preferencial);
  • Disponibilidade para deslocações, dentro do país;
  • Carta de condução;
  • Bons conhecimentos de Inglês (preferencial);
  • Certificado Trabalhos em Altura/Utilização de plataformas em altura (preferencial).

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Answer incoming calls from utilities, clients and vendors.
• Contact vendors and/or clients to:

Retrieve bills late arriving, missing bills not received & accounts without bills
Verify final billing and obtain all necessary information
Update or correct mailing addresses 

Provide letters of authorization (LOA) Request late fees to be waived, via phone call
Multiple estimated bills
• Searching each account for any payment inconsistencies or errors including, but not limited to:

 - Gap edits
 - Prior balance edits
• Perform critical thinking skills to investigate payment discrepancies such as:

 - Stale checks
 - Returned checks 
 - Void & reissue of payment Advance critical payments 

• Some manual data entry for bills as needed.
• Update or correct units of measure as needed
• Perform inactivation of accounts and/or sites
• Delete duplicate bill copies
• Research accounts with zero cost or consumption
• Sending and confirming receipt of Bankruptcy documentation
• Ensure data accuracy
• Ensure that follow-up, email, and correspondence are completed in a timely manner.
• Follow standard operating procedures within these tasks

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification/Knowledge

• Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.

 

Experience:

• Basic understanding of general ledger coding and account set up preferred 

• Requires two years of clerical and/or customer related work experience
• Other combinations of experience/education may be considered

 

Skills/Abilities:

• Must have solid strong computer skills, to include familiarity with Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet and several customized ENGIE Impact systems (including but not limited to Avi, Workflow)
• Must have excellent phone skills and customer service
• Must be able to organize, prioritize, and use time management tools  

• Ability to demonstrate basic mathematical aptitude 

• Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must be a team player who is detail oriented, dependable and adaptable

WORK ENVIRONMENT

What You Can Expect

As a Wind Technician II, you will operate and maintain the site, optimizing wind generation performance while prioritizing health, safety, and environmental compliance. You will actively participate in the safety program, ensuring all team members and contractors adhere to safety procedures and job safety analyses.

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Communicating and enforcing site safety rules through orientations, JSAs, and meetings, while overseeing daily work and coordinating with service providers and contractors
  • Operating and monitoring site equipment, maintaining high standards for equipment reliability and efficiency, and conducting routine inspections
  • Managing contractors, serving as the primary contact for landowners, and coordinating on-site work, including maintaining the site in a clean and neat condition
  • Troubleshoot and recommend  improvements to plant performance, supporting operations at other sites during emergencies, and using Root Cause Failure Analysis techniques to solve problems
  • You will also ensure confidentiality, comply with legal obligations, and support wind and solar assets for planned and forced outages, which may require overnight stays

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum High school diploma
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience and knowledge of Solar generation, Wind generation, Thermal power, Manufacturing or Mining operations, or Controls & Industrial Maintenance where you have working knowledge of industrial electrical or substation equipment including breaker, disconnects, transformers, contactors
  • Must have or be willing to obtain certification as substation technician within twelve (12) months of hire date

 

Additional Details

  • This is a field position requiring regular travel to client site(s)
  • This role requires daily attendance at a worksite
  • Must be available to travel domestically to other solar plants for emergencies and assist with outages
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record to drive company vehicle on and around the plant
  • Must be willing and able to comply with ENGIE’s policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing

Compensation

Salary Range: $27.00 – $39.16 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Welcome to ENGIE Flex Gen Europe! This operational entity of ENGIE has the ambition to be a key enabler of the energy transition towards a carbon-neutral economy!

 

You will join EMS (European Maintenance Services, part of ENGIE Generation Europe), which is responsible for the specialized maintenance of power plant turbines, alternators, high-voltage installations and boilers, among others.

We are looking for a junior technician pumps and fans (M/F/X) whose work will spread across the entire Belgian territory. Likewise, you are willing to spend up to 30% of working time abroad.

YOUR CHALLENGE as junior technician pumps and fans (M/F/X)

  • You will work together with more experienced colleagues to organize and carry out maintenance on more complex pumps in power plants.
  • Here, you start by studying the operation of the devices and documentation and history.
  • With this knowledge, you can then participate in the preparation of maintenance works. This includes checking spare parts, preparing quality plans and measurement sheets, execution planning … The necessary risk analyses and safeguards are of course also an indispensable part of preparation.
  • During execution, you will be tinkering and measuring yourself to make the technology your own. As such, you will also be involved in identifying technical deviations and with determining the best solutions.
  • Finally, you will collaborate on reporting, updating documentation and following up on spare parts repairs. This way, you can gain a lot of experience with fast-spinning devices and the damage mechanisms in pumps and fans.

 

Gradually you will be given more and more responsibility until you can carry out maintenance and repairs independently.
