Ce vei face:

Sub supravegherea mentorului, vei executa lucrări programate și neprogramate specifice domeniilor de activitate de Exploatare Rețea și Tehnic Clientelă, în conformitate cu Legea Energiei și a Gazelor Naturale, Normele Tehnice în vigoare, Politica de Mentenanță a Societății, procedurile și instrucțiunile de lucru specifice proceselor de Exploatare Retea (mentenanta preventiva si mentenanta corectiva), în vederea exploatării în condiții de siguranță a sistemului de distribuție gaze naturale, reducerea pierderilor și a costurilor, pentru asigurarea satisfacției clienților interni și externi, cu îndeplinirea obiectivelor de performanță calitativă și cantitativă stabilite la nivel de unitate organizațională.

 

Experiență, calificări, cunoștințe și abilități:

  • Studii generale;

 

Constituie avantaj:

  • Permis de conducere categoria B;
  • Calificare în meseria de instalator gaze;
  • Experiență 1 an în exploatarea sistemului de distribuție de gaze naturale.

What You Can Expect

 

As a Public Affairs Intern, you will learn the importance of establishing and maintaining relationships of trust with a variety of stakeholders both in the communities ENGIE serves across North America and within the company. You will work closely with the Vice President of Public Affairs to create materials to provide information, answer questions, and address issues and concerns, with the overall objective of promoting the benefits and opportunities that our company and projects bring.

 

Your daily work during the summer internship program, which runs from June 2 – August 22, 2025, will include:

 

  • Helping to draft content for various collateral materials relating to solar, wind, and battery storage for external audiences, in particular, project fact sheets and PowerPoint presentations, our landowner newsletter, and advertisements for local media.
  • Conducting research and updating briefing materials in support of meetings with public and/or community officials.
  • As a peer of other participants in ENGIE North America’s Academic Relations Program, helping to produce new “Day in the Life” content for social media to be shared among the university community in Houston.

 

 What You’ll Bring

  • Strong writing, organizational, interviewing, and interpersonal skills, with an objective to engage diverse audiences.
  • Ability to conduct research and analyze and summarize data relevant to effective community and other stakeholder engagement.
  • Curiosity, opinions, and willingness to learn, including by traveling locally to project sites to understand more about their operation

 

Additional Details

  • The internship position is scheduled for 20 hours a week for 12 weeks starting on June 2, 2025. An adjustment to the concluding date of the internship can be made to accommodate the start of the fall academic calendar.
  • The applicant must be enrolled in a Public Relations, Public Policy, Communications, or related program at a four-year university at the commencement of the internship semester.
  • This role requires attendance at ENGIE North America’s Houston office on a weekly basis, both to execute projects and to participate in programming with fellow interns.
  • The applicant must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license to potentially drive to site locations.
  • The applicant must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE Ethics and Safety policies.

 

Compensation

 

Hourly Range: $30.00 USD hourly

What You Can Expect
As Groundskeeper will report to the site daily and work as the main point of contact in keeping and maintaining the vegetation, such as but not limited to weed eating, using a medium size agriculture tracker, and using a box blade for road repair. You will also oversee the regular scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting for the equipment and vehicles on site.  You will receive and report status updates on assignments and projects from the scheduling software on a computer terminal in the office. This work is completed independently amongst a team of technicians. Periodically you will be expected to manage and communicate with external contractors onsite to ensure compliance and safety.

  • You may be required to work to support solar technicians as needed for safety support other required assignments
  • You may be required to work on call as needed in site

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You must have a minimum high school diploma or equivalent education
  • Minimum 2 years work history using hand tools 
  • You will need to be able to drive a medium size agricultural tracker  
  • Must be able to active read and interpret information such as but not limited to instruments, gauges, and manuals
  • Able and willing to get certified in first aid and CPR


Additional Details

  • This role requires daily attendance at worksite 
  • Must be available to travel to other sites for trainings and assistance as needed per site local site development typically on a weekly basis. 
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record to drive on site and to other company trainings, events and meetings
  • Must be willing and able to comply with ENGIE’s policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing
