¿Cuál sería tu objetivo?

Ser responsable de coordinar y gestionar tanto la negociación como la ejecución de contratos relacionados con los activos renovables en fase de Operación y Mantenimiento. Este rol implica autonomía para preparar, revisar y negociar términos contractuales, asegurando acuerdos beneficiosos y conformes a la legislación vigente. Además, monitorear y asegurar el cumplimiento de las condiciones contractuales conforme a los intereses de la compañía y la regulación vigente. Trabajar en estrecha colaboración con Operaciones, asistiendo en la interpretación de cláusulas y resolución de disputas, así como la gestión de reclamaciones asociadas a la gestión de contratos, entre otros, garantías, multas, calidad, etc. como también negociación de adendas contractuales.

 

Funciones

  • Preparar, revisar y negociar contratos de operación y mantenimiento, accesorios y marco, asegurando cumplimiento de políticas internas y legislación, coordinando con el equipo legal.
  • Monitorear cumplimiento de términos contractuales, asegurar calidad y plazos de servicios, asistir en interpretación de cláusulas, gestión de reclamos y activación de garantías.
  • Mantener registro de documentación relevante a contratos de activos renovables y manejar estándares de contratos en diferentes tecnologías.
  • Identificar y evaluar riesgos asociados a contratos, implementar estrategias de mitigación y coordinar gestión de disputas con equipo legal y otras áreas internas.
  • Realizar análisis detallados para asegurar viabilidad y cumplimiento de contratos, actualizar contratos existentes según cambios en mercado o legislación.
  • Mantener relaciones sólidas con proveedores y clientes, actuar como punto de contacto en negociaciones y facilitar comunicación entre las partes.
  • Coordinar con departamentos de desarrollo de proyectos, integración y otros, representando a O&M en fase de negociación frente a todas las áreas de la compañía.

 

Requisitos

  • Ingeniero/a Civil, industrial mecánico/a o a fin a la actividad. Abogado/a.  
  • Técnicas de Negociación.
  • Conocimiento en gestión de riesgos
  • Habilidades analíticas y de revisión contractual.
  • Habilidad para mantener una comunicación clara y efectiva con todas las partes involucradas, incluyendo proveedores, clientes y equipos internos
  • Experiencia en operación y mantenimiento de proyectos renovables
  • Habilidad para planificar y organizar actividades relacionadas con la gestión de contratos, asegurando la eficiencia y efectividad en la ejecución.
  • Experiencia en manejo de fallas en sitios
  • Gestión y optimización de recursos
  • Office Nivel Avanzado
  • Ingles intermedio/avanzado
  • Experiencia 4 años en el área de contratos de proyectos de construcción y/o de operación y mantenimiento de activos renovable.

BMS Engineer

Position Overview – Purpose of the Role

Being involved in the design, engineering, installation, pre commissioning, commissioning and handing over of BMS Systems in Energy Efficiency projects, in accordance to the project specifications and time frame, engineering adopted codes and good engineering practices.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Performing site surveys and studying all technical drawings, documents and any revisions thereon related to BMS scope with focus on HVAC control and energy management system.
  • Designing BMS upgrade of the existing systems/new installation including preparation of IO lists, system riser diagram, DDC controllers,IO modules and fiel devices selection.
  • Cost estimation of the BMS scope based on the design.
  • Preparing detailed Request for proposal (RFP) document for BMS related scope to share with multiple vendors/system integrators/subcontractors.
  • Working on Analysing and finalizing the technical proposals of different suppliers / service providers, and provide the feedback on technical design ensuring that proposed solution meet project specification.
  • Preparing project engineering submittals (Material Submittals, Method Statements, Shopdrawings, Operation and Maintenance manuals,…etc.)
  • Preparing optimized sequence of operation for HVAC systems (AHUs, Chillers, VAVs, FCUs etc.) with a focus on energy savings and comfort control.
  • Advising on construction methodologies in coordination with other disciplines/contractors/ subcontractors prior to construction.
  • Ensuring that any variations and instructions received from the client are incorporated into the latest construction issued drawings and auctioned by the construction team.
  • Supervise and document the commissioning process in the building.
  • Testing & Commissioning: document functional and performance tests of all HVAC systems.
  • Ensuring the Operations & Maintenance manuals as well as handover documents are in line with contract specification and requirements.
  • Coordinate with client for inspections and final approvals.
  • Coordinate with Authorities having jurisdiction for necessary approvals.
  • Conducting training to the owner operation and maintenance staff on the operation of the Building Management System.
  • Analysing and resolving field problems.
  • Manage the day to day site works.
  • Monitor the subcontractors / service provider performance, and follow up the engineering deliverables (engineering studies, submittals,…)
  • Record the site works progress and validate service providers payment requests.
  • Follow up the material deliveries, and monitor the stocks of material and systems related to the BMS.
  • Engage in the planning of the execution of BMS activities in line with the overall project plan, and cooridnate the final outcome with the planing department.
  • Ensure HSE policy and procedures are followed
  • Assist the energy audit team in the activities of site surveys and existing systems analysis.

 

 

 

 

Requirements

  • 5 Years minimum of experience as a BMS engieneer in an engineering and contracting or similar industry in GCC
  • Bachelor degree,
  • Familiar with international codes and standards (ASHRAE, CIBSE, BSRIA,...)
  • Familiar with KSA building codes
  • IT skills.
  • Knowledge of BMS/control of HVAC systems is mandatory, in addition to the ability to understand and establish the sequence of operation of various HVAC systems (FAHUs, AHUs, Fans, pumps, motors, VFDs,..)
  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM) is a plus
  • Certified with any of the Main BMS Systems (Siemens, Niagra, Honeywell, Delta…etc.),
  • Hands-on experience with MS office and MS excel,
  • Hands-on experience with AutoCad,
  • Knowledge in the local market suppliers / service providers is a plus

Your Mission 

Tractebel is seeking a Mechanical site Supervisor for a project located in Mejillones (at Engie Mejillones Complex).
The selected candidate objective will supervise the correct execution of the Mechanical/Piping site works in a Power Plant reconversion project.
It will act as the site owner's representative, maintaining a direct relationship with the subcontractors, site manager, Tractebel engineering team and Engie (the Owner) team.

 

Main Roles
 

  • Review the Mechanical and Piping field engineering and construction documents.
  • Track and report subcontractor's progress.
  • Asure the conformity of the construction with the technical drawings and applicable codes and standards. 
  • Supervise the quality of construction. 
  • Promote and assure a safe working environment by supervising the compliance with the approved safety measures during the execution of the works.
  • Propose solutions to daily interference problems during on-site assembly. 
  • Register, report and track deviations and quality issues from the contractor by means of non-conformity reports.
  • Support the engineering team to find last minute engineering/construction changes and interferences.
  • Support Site Manager during meetings, reports, and site inspections.

 

Professional Requirements

  • Mechanical/Piping/ Process Engineer degree or related degrees
  • Experience: Over 7 years in field Mechanical/Piping inspection works
  • Knowledge Chilean Mechanical normative
  • Availability to work in the field (Mejillones)
  • Spanish speaker with advanced English (part of our team members and EPC contractors are English speakers)

  • Research and Compliance: Stay updated on industry developments, tax incentives, and technologies; manage permit applications and interactions with local, state, and federal agencies, including Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) submittals, and remain abreast of renewable energy opportunities and industry trends
  • Financial and Administrative Support: Develop project model underwriting assumptions, support off-take origination efforts, financing, and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) discussions, prepare investment materials, and review pro forma financial models to understand how returns are impacted, and maintain database tracking project progress

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental, Business Administration, Finance, Energy, Economics, or a related field of study in which you have project development, permitting/planning, project management, or business development experience
  • Minimum two (2) years related experience, in renewable energy development or other project development fields, with the ability to navigate permitting processes and community involvement
  • Skilled in project management with the ability to multi-task and prioritize critical path tasks effectively
  • Highly capable of working constructively and maintaining good relationships with public officials and agencies
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to present to diverse audiences, including landowners, potential off-takers, government officials, and corporate leaders

As the Project Manager II, reporting to the Director of Capex, you will be responsible for managing utility infrastructure capital projects associated with expanding and maintaining the utility system on the Ohio State University campus for projects ranging in size from $100,000 to $15M.

 

Every day, you will report onsite to our office located on the Ohio State University campus in Columbus, OH.   • You will utilize new budgets and cost tracking devices to provide input to long-term financial planning, issue contracts, change contract orders, and process invoices
  • You will monitor project progress in design and construction phases through regular contractor and stakeholder interaction both virtually and in-person on work sites
  • You can liaise with ENGIE entities and colleagues for knowledge sharing

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You have a minimum of bachelor’s degree in engineering or previous experience in industrial projects in lieu of engineering degree
  • You have a minimum of two (2) years’ of project management experience managing the scope development, estimates, stakeholder management, contracting, cost development, cost tracking, project execution, commissioning, and closeout of projects
  • You possess or have the desire to obtain a PMP Certification
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, colleagues, and contractors, including engineers, architects, and construction firms to develop and execute projects

 

Additional Details

  • This role requires daily attendance at a worksite
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record to use a company vehicle and travel across campus to project sites
