¿Cuál sería tu objetivo?

Tu objetivo sería facilitar y coordinar las actividades de soporte de gestión a los distintos proyectos de la Unidad de Negocios de Generación Flexible, con el fin de asegurar los niveles de asistencia, fijándose en los aspectos técnicos y apoyo de gestión de los proyectos asignados, y las distintas actividades de Ingeniería de las diferentes áreas durante todas las etapas del proyecto: Diseño, Suministro, Construcción, Montaje, Pruebas y Puesta en función a los lineamientos de la dirección.

 

Funciones

  • Realizar las actividades de supervisión y seguimiento del estado de avance de los proyectos, con el fin de proveer la entrega de actualizaciones semanales de proyectos a gerencia, levantamiento de puntos críticos en referencia a procesos de conexión, suministros y actualización de construcción del proyecto con la emisión de comunicaciones y minutas de control, asegurando la revisión y tomar las medidas correctivas necesarias.
  • Coordinar y supervisar gestión de actividades transversales de los proyectos con las áreas de soporte y áreas externas, con el fin de proveer de apoyo a los jefes de proyecto en los procesos de entrega desde Desarrollo a Implementación, y desde la Implementación hacia Operación y Mantenimiento, realizando seguimientos periódicos y auto evaluaciones de forma periódica.
  • Facilitar al jefe de proyecto en el monitoreo del avance de las distintas áreas de los proyectos (ingeniería, procurement, proceso interconexión, construcción y permiso) con el fin de identificar potenciales riesgos de atraso e interferencias con el fin de alertar y proponer acciones a la gerencia.
  • Analizar y coordinar la gestión del estado de la ingeniería de los proyectos asignados, en las diferentes etapas de desarrollo en lo que respecta la licitación, especificación, montaje, pruebas y puesta en servicio, con el propósito de lograr el cumplimiento de los proyectos en términos de calidad, tiempo y seguridad.
  • Analizar el resultado del desempeño de la empresa subcontratista revisora (OE) de las Ingenierías Básicas y de Detalles, con el fin de asegurar la disponibilidad de información de acuerdo a los procedimientos, norma técnica y normas del grupo, notificando cuando sea necesario a jefes de Proyecto y Jefes de Ingeniería cualquier desviación que ocurra, tomando acciones correctivas necesarias.
  • Apoyar en las actividades de prueba de líneas, energización y operación de nuevas instalaciones, para contribuir la entrega y transición de proyectos de acuerdo a los procedimientos y estándares de calidad y plazo definidos por la compañía.
  • Responsable de coordinar el desarrollo de la ingeniería, gestionando/visualizando eventuales interferencia con el fin de lograr la comprobación de los cumplimiento de la actividades del programa maestro del proyecto de ingeniería y de sus entregas.

 

Requisitos

  • Ingeniero Civil Electrico, Ingeniero Electrónico, Ingeniero en Telecomunicaciones, o equivalente por experiencia.
  • Conocimientos sobre metodologías HSE, de sistemas de control de documentos, control de costos, control de programación y permisos en tecnologías generación y transmisión, desarrollo evaluación de proyectos.
  • Office Nivel Avanzado.
  • Manejo de software Microsoft: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Autocad, Project y Outlook.
  • Conocimiento de normas técnicas, seguridad y medio ambiente, legislación laboral.
  • Conocer y aplicar las políticas y normativas de la Organización y aquellas de índole legal, relativas a su posición.
  • Deseables conocimiento y experiencia en proyectos renovables y generación compuesto de Planta.
  • Ingles básico, deseable intermedio para revisión de documentación en inglés.
  • Mínimo 5 años de experiencia en puestos similares en cuanto a responsabilidades y disciplinas en proyecto de generación de sector eléctrico, subestaciones eléctricas.
  • 6 años de experiencia en negocios similares: construcciones de infraestructura.

Project Site Manager

 

Roles and responsibilities

 

The Project Site Manager shall be experienced in Combined Cycle Gas Turbine and Thermal Power Plants, in overseeing and supervising the EPC Contractor’s project execution. The Project Site Manager will be responsible to ensure that the construction, commissioning, and testing of the plant executed by the EPC Contractor meets and complies with the EPC Contract. He shall be experienced in Construction Supervision, testing and commissioning, materials procurement review, factory Inspection and other related fields to assure that the Project’s Lump sum Turnkey (LSTK) Contractor complies with the contractual requirements of the execution of the Project.

The Project Site Manager shall be responsible for managing and coordinating the site team in carrying out the site supervision responsibilities as outlined in the scope of Owner’s Engineer contract with the Client. The Project Site Manager shall also be responsible for coordinating with the Client, the Client’s design  co-ordination team, the EPC Contractor and the Tractebel’s Home Office design review team, as necessary.

Leading the weekly and monthly project meetings for Contractor’s works with the Client and the EPC Contractor, progress reports, ensure work compliance in accordance to approved drawings and submittals; material and equipment inspection at site, Inspection for installation and construction Works at site, pre-commissioning, testing, commissioning and startup activities until unit handover for commercial operation. Prepare punch list, NCRs and conduct QA/QC for all the Work and for health, safety, security, risk management,  Mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & control and civil engineering with respect to Scope of Work and Technical Specifications in accordance with local and International Codes and Standards with the support of the team of site engineers.

Riyadh PP # 10 Combined Cycle Power Plant is located approximately sixty (60) km to the Riyadh AlKharaj Road of the city of Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.  

The nearest airport for access to the Project site is King Khalid International Airport Riyadh.  The nearest seaport is Dammam port which is about four hundred fifty (450) Km from the Project Site.

 

Reporting Line and Key Relationships

The Project Site Manager will report to the Tractebel Middle East Head of Energy and Infrastructure and for the project execution, he shall be reporting to the Client’s Project Site Manager at the PP10 site.

 

Requirements

 

Experience and Skills

The Project Site Manager (Site) shall work full time for this Project and shall not be involved in any other Project or Work Assignment. He should have a minimum of twenty [20] years of experience in managing large Combined Cycle and Thermal Power Projects and his age should not be more than 55 years. He shall possess strong leadership qualities and good communication skills.

Knowledge of all recognized International and local engineering codes and standards, directives and safety regulations such as such as ASME, ASTM, API, DIN, VGB, EN, NFPA, COMPANY ISD, HCIS, ISO, ISA, ATEX, NEC, IEC, IEEE, ACI, ANSI, ASCE, SBC, Saudi Grid Code, PME environmental, AWS, ASHRAE, OSHAH, UL, FM and other items as applicable, OEMs standards and practices including local regulations codes and standards and laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the International Standards requirements.

Knowledge and experience in mechanical, electrical, control and civil engineering related to the Scope of work and tender documents.

Knowledge and experienced in Contract matters, contractual claims, change orders or Amendments, interpretation contractual terms and conditions.

 

Education

Bachelor degree holder in Mechanical Engineering (approved by Saudi Council of Engineers) with minimum twenty (20) years of experience in multi-national & multi-discipline Projects

What You Can Expect

As the Project Manager II in our Capex team you will be based at the University of Iowa. You will be responsible for managing utility infrastructure capital projects associated with expanding and maintaining the utility system on the two local campuses. These project will range in size from $100,000 to $15M, with completion of each taking the span of 1-3 years. You will works with internal and external procurement resources to obtain quotes and proposals for the entire scope of the project . Additionally, you will work closely with project development and origination to ensure the project’s success from the beginning, and works with our O&M and Engineering staff to understand the technical aspects of the system designs while enforcing strict health and safety requirements.

 

  • Visits to project sites to facilitate contractor preconstruction requirements and ensure all projects adhere to requirements listed in applicable legal agreements
  • Tracks and analyzes progress on project-level spend and schedules in relation to approved budget and schedule baselines.
  • Cites any budget-related and schedule issues and processes change to ensure budget and schedule baselines are accurate

As our Instrumentation & Controls Manager, at Georgetown University, you will rebuild a team of I/C technicians including development and training. The ideal candidate will be interested in being a key contributor to large scale infrastructure upgrades.

 

Every day you will support ENGIE Asset Optimization at the Central Utility Plant and collaborate with centralized IT/OT, network and cybersecurity teams as well as the customer. You will report to the Director of Energy Delivery.

 

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience In Lieu of a Bachelor’s degree a HS Diploma / GED equivalent and a combination of education and professional experience totaling a minimum of ten (10) years, including the experience listed below.
  • You possess 7 years of experience working in Instrumentation, Controls, Metering, Cybersecurity and Information Technology and working knowledge of the Perdue Model

  • You will be responsible for the deployment and management of multiple control and data acquisition systems including AVEVA, Allen Bradley, WebCTRL, and other legacy systems
  • You are responsible to reach ENGIE’s ICS Framework compliance with the support of the Cybersecurity team and Continuous Diagnosis Monitoring upon compliance
  • You will create reports to meet client needs and develop alarms based on the needs of the operations group

What You Can Expect

Currently ENGIE operates a 7 GW fleet of utility-scale wind, solar, and battery storage assets across North America, which is expected to grow considerably in the coming years. As the Director of Renewables Operations Control Center (ROCC) you will be expected to structure, manage, coordinate, monitor, and assess the real-time operations of its renewable’s generation fleet.  The director will be essential in forming the ROCC’s operational philosophy and finding opportunities to create a cutting-edge control center. The ROCC Director collaborates closely with key stakeholders, including Engineering, IT, Operations, GEMS, and Asset Management, to develop, implement, and manage the processes and procedures essential for establishing and operating the ROCC. The director will oversee the ROCC team, which currently comprises one Supervisor and six operators working in a 24/7, year-round operational environment, along with the regulatory and compliance teams.

 

Key functions of the Director of ROCC and Compliance include:

  • Ensuring stable and reliable operation of generation facilities
  • Identifying and responding to plant and Bulk Electric System (BES) conditions
  • Communicating and coordinating with other BES entities
  • Dispatching field maintenance crews to investigate abnormal conditions
  • Logging actions, communications, and abnormal conditions for future review

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant trade education where you have learned about power systems, regulatory and compliance, controls
  • Minimum of ten (10) years in Real-Time Operations (RTO) within the electricity or thermal sector such as generation, transmission, or distribution
  • Experience with multi-level negotiation and advocacy skills, knowledge of power system equipment and technology, and familiarity with NERC Standards such as; Operations and Planning (O&P) and Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP)
  • Experience in leading teams, managing cross-functional projects, and handling switching and isolation in a leadership capacity
  • Working knowledge of power system operations concepts including; voltage control, automatic generation control, system operating limits, and practical knowledge of protection and controls such as relay schemes, automatic reclosing and instrument transformers.
  • Working knowledge and experience with Transmission System Operations (TSO) and compliance requirements

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • Must be available to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record; use of company vehicle, ability to drive to site locations
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies;
  • This position may consist of 50% of outdoor work, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions when visiting sites

 

 

 

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $153,615.00 – $255,570.00 USD annually 

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
