Actualmente estamos buscando un Técnico/a de PRL para nuestra División de Renovables con sede en Zaragoza.

Misión

La División de Renovables cuenta actualmente con activos en desarrollo y operación. Plantas fotovoltaicas, parques eólicos y centrales hidráulicas repartidas por toda la geografía española.

Como Técnico/a de PRL serás responsable de velar por la correcta aplicación de la normativa de PRL y las políticas de la empresa, así como asegurar la correcta gestión documental y el cumplimiento de los requerimientos legales.

Funciones

  • Supervisión en instalaciones de la División de Renovables de las actividades a realizar, velando por la adopción de medidas preventivas efectivas.
  • Redacción y revisión de las evaluaciones de riesgos y documentación aplicable en materia de PRL de las instalaciones asignadas.
  • Realización de inspecciones y auditoría según el estándar de la compañía y los criterios externos de certificación.
  • Colaborar con los equipos de Construcción y Operación & Mantenimiento en la revisión de protocolos y procedimientos aplicables. Programación, preparación y participación en simulacros e implantación de los planes de emergencia.
  • Participar e impartir formaciones y sesiones informativas al personal propio y subcontratado cuando así sea requerido.
  • Ayudar a la divulgación de campañas, charlas, y acciones que la empresa determine para la mejora de la cultura preventiva. Colaborar y dar soporte en materia de PRL a las áreas que forman la División de Renovables.
  • Se valorará positivamente experiencia en auditoría externa ISO 45001.

Requisitos

  • Para desempeñar de manera idónea las tareas de este puesto de trabajo se requiere una experiencia mínima de más de 3 años en materia de PRL siendo muy valoradas experiencias previas en puestos similares, así como trabajo de campo en construcción de instalaciones renovables.
  • Experiencia en obras de construcción y/o operación y mantenimiento en instalaciones industriales del área de renovables.
  • Movilidad geográfica para visitas a nuestras instalaciones en España, alrededor de 50% del tiempo efectivo de trabajo.
  • Nivel inglés B2.
  • Tener el curso de GWO/BST

Job Purpose:

  • Prepares weekly and monthly reports, maintains proper documentation to conform with record-keeping requirements of the organizations IMS.
  • Investigates all accidents/incidents related to injuries, environmental impact, and damage to assets at worksites to ascertain root causes and the need for corrective action; develops and implements measures and strategies to prevent their recurrence in order to meet the organizations key objectives.
  • Monitors compliance with applicable legal and other requirements to which the organization subscribes and monitor changes to such requirements and their impact on the organizations processes.
  • Coordinate and establish QHSE meetings for all sites assigned and ensure they function properly.

Che cosa farai?

Sotto la supervisione del Business Support Manager, in stretta collaborazione con i Project Manager e con l’RSPP, ti occuperai di supportare l'Area di business nella gestione e messa in atto delle misure di prevenzione e protezione dai rischi per i lavoratori nell’ambito della gestione di contratti di servizi e di lavori (cantieri temporanei e mobili) in conformità con le normative in vigore.

 

Quali saranno le tue responsabilità?

  • Collaborerai per individuare ed indicare le possibili fonti di rischio all’interno del luogo di lavoro (sopralluoghi in campo);
  • Verificherai le necessarie misure di prevenzione, protezione e controllo riguardo a ciascun tipo di rischio e supporterai i manager nella loro attuazione;
  • Compilerai, redigerai e predisporrai la documentazione inerente alla sicurezza prevista dalle procedure aziendali e dalla normativa;
  • Redigerai la documentazione necessaria all’esecuzione dei lavori da sottoporre poi a RSPP, OM e PM;
  • Verificherai l'implementazione delle misure di controllo fino al loro completamento, informando di eventuali ritardi o problemi;
  • Vigilerai sul rispetto delle misure di prevenzione e protezione in vigore;
  • Contribuirai all’individuazione dei DPI idonei allo svolgimento delle attività affidate ai lavoratori e ne promuoverai l’uso;
  • Informerai i lavoratori sui rischi del proprio lavoro, sulle regole di gruppo e sulle procedure vigenti, verificandone la corretta applicazione;
  • Verificherai la compliance normativa della documentazione aziendale relativa ai contratti gestiti;
  • Verificherai la compliance normativa della documentazione dei subappaltatori, con particolare riguardo all’idoneità tecnico professionale, in ottemperanza alle procedure interne;
  • Parteciperai alle necessarie consultazioni di aggiornamento e innovazione sulle questioni della salute e della sicurezza sul lavoro ed eventualmente alla riunione periodica;
  • Parteciperai all’analisi di eventi infortunistici o mancati infortuni / HIPO;
  • Collaborerai allo sviluppo di procedure per la sicurezza;
  • Collaborare alla preparazione degli audit ISO 45001 e ad eventuali altri audit interni.

What You Can Expect

  • Support HSE database management and provides required monthly statistical reports to GBU Renewable & Flex Power North America corporate and Business Entity (BE) leadership.  Tracks the performance and progress of action plans, programs and processes
  • Conducts regular onsite training, supervision, compliance audits, incident investigations, and safety cultural assessments
  • As directed, leads serious incident investigations into High Potential (HiPo) incidents, including those that result in a lost time accident.  Applies Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) tools when conducting investigations to determine causal factors.  Identifies countermeasures to prevent recurrence and eliminate deviations from the standard
  • Provides guidance and acts as a role model for GBU HSE full time professionals, site managers, front line supervisors and general foremen in the effective implementation of the 4Ps
  • Supports design of the GBU Renewable & Flex Power North America HSE Management System in accordance with the ISO 45001 standard.  Researches new or revised OSHA regulatory requirements.  Anticipates changes and updates the 4Ps as required with follow on training for effective implementation
  • Supports development of the GBU Renewable & Flex Power North America H&S budget in collaboration with the HSE team
  • Manages the selection of third-party HSE auditors, consultants and contractors
  • Has a strong, proven track record of creating positive rapport with field personnel.  Supports and implements a communication strategy that promotes leadership engagement between management, front line supervisors, foremen, technicians / craft personnel and contractors to create a culture where HSE is a principle and not a priority
  • Supports implementation of observation programs that focus on pre-job/task activities.  Ensures the Job Safety Plan process permeates down to the granularity of the specific task assigned
  • Benchmarks the current state of safe work procedures against a “Best in Class” standard.  Orchestrates plans to close identified gaps in coordination with GBU Renewable & Flex Power North America H&S team
  • Coordinates reviews of contractor safety plans and procedures to assure their standard is equal or more stringent than GBU Renewable & Flex Power North America’s safety criteria as stipulated in the procurement Terms & Conditions.  Audits to ensure contractor H&S contractual obligations are understood and respected
  • Participates in process safety assessments on projects throughout the design phase
  • Develops and implements safe work management processes and programs including risk assessment, Lock-Out-Tag-Out and Permit to Work.
  • Carries out other duties as assigned


 

What You’ll Bring

  • Associates Degree in Safety Management, Engineering, or Business, certifications in OSHA Safety and Certified Safety Professional or other recognized BCSP Certifications
  • Minimum seven (7) years’ experience in electrical energy production, storage and distribution in design, construction and operational phases
  • Subject matter expert in OSHA (US) CFR 29 Parts 1910 / 1926
  • Exhibit mastery of root cause failure analysis tools and their application for recordable events
  • Possess superior verbal, written, interpersonal, public speaking, facilitation and presentation communication skills when interacting with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with behavioral science and the psychology behind influencing change
  • Experience in commercial and industrial construction environments
  • Exhibit high levels of emotional intelligence as a team leader in the creation of a desire-based vs. compliance-based safety culture
  • Proficient in database management, Pareto analyses and the design of executive level dashboard / graphical displays in direct support of essential job functions
  • In-depth knowledge of the change management process
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy

Additional Details

  • This is a field position requiring regular travel to operating assets and active construction projects. 
  • This role requires daily attendance at a worksite 
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 75% of the time and with the need for  overnight trips
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record rental cars through ENGIE 
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

Compensation

Salary Range: $99,000 – $151,800 USD annually 

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

  • Manages the selection of third-party HSE auditors, consultants and contractors
  • Has a strong, proven track record of creating positive rapport with field personnel.  Supports and implements a communication strategy that promotes leadership engagement between management, front line supervisors, foremen, technicians / craft personnel and contractors to create a culture where HSE is a principle and not a priority
  • Supports implementation of observation programs that focus on pre-job/task activities.  Ensures the Job Safety Plan process permeates down to the granularity of the specific task assigned
  • Benchmarks the current state of safe work procedures against a “Best in Class” standard.  Orchestrates plans to close identified gaps in coordination with GBU Renewable & Flex Power North America H&S team
  • Coordinates reviews of contractor safety plans and procedures to assure their standard is equal or more stringent than GBU Renewable & Flex Power North America’s safety criteria as stipulated in the procurement Terms & Conditions.  Audits to ensure contractor H&S contractual obligations are understood and respected
  • Participates in process safety assessments on projects throughout the design phase
  • Develops and implements safe work management processes and programs including risk assessment, Lock-Out-Tag-Out and Permit to Work.
  • Carries out other duties as assigned

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Management, Engineering, Business or a similar degree
  • Minimum seven (7) years’ experience in electrical energy production, storage and distribution in design, construction and operational phases
  • Subject matter expert in OSHA (US) CFR 29 Parts 1910 / 1926
  • Exhibit mastery of root cause failure analysis tools and their application for recordable events
  • Possess superior verbal, written, interpersonal, public speaking, facilitation and presentation communication skills when interacting with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with behavioral science and the psychology behind influencing change
  • Experience in commercial and industrial construction environments
  • Exhibit high levels of emotional intelligence as a team leader in the creation of a desire-based vs. compliance-based safety culture
  • Proficient in database management, Pareto analyses and the design of executive level dashboard / graphical displays in direct support of essential job functions
  • In-depth knowledge of the change management process
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy; consisting of three (3) days in-office and two (2) days remote when not traveling
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 75% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
  • This position consist of 50% of outdoor work, while performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions
  • Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and enter confined spaces as required to complete safety audits and assess job site conditions for working environment hazards.
  • Could involve some lifting

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $99,000 – $151,800 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

 

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
