The Opportunity:

 

Excellent new opportunity for a Training & Change Support Officer to join our Business Change team to design, develop, plan and conduct training and development programs to improve individual and organisational performance, initially on a 12 month fixed term contract.

 

You will also support the change team with embedding change.

 

You will report to the Sales Trainer and can work flexibly from the office and home – hybrid work model.

 

This is a full-time role but reasonable requests for part time will be considered.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Deliver training sessions, engaging and guiding learners, and evaluating the achievement of intended learning outcomes.  This will include Delivering Train the Trainer sessions for onshore and offshore business trainers
  • Conduct detailed training needs analysis to identify changes to skills and knowledge across the business due to projects being implemented and identify specific learning interventions required as a result
  • Design and develop learning programs and resources using blended methodologies including online learning resources that meet the defined objectives and needs of the end users.
  • Consult and collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to plan, provide advice and scope requirements for the design and development of learning programs and resources.
  • Maintain and update training procedure manuals, guides or course materials and schedule training; this will include collaborating with team members across the business.
     

About You:

 

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience working on end-to-end learning projects including analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation and be able to produce relevant reporting.  Ideally, you will have experience with training and uplifting sales and customer experience teams with contract centre environments.  You are able to work independently and collaborate as part of a team with excellent written communication skills with good attention to details.

2.  JOB PURPOSE:

  • To apply specialist I&C expertise for the efficient working of the I&C Department at PP11 Power Plant;

 

  • To ensure Plant I&C equipment is maintained as per procedures documented in the Maintenance Management System (SAP) as per instructions of the I&C Engineer(s);

 

  • To assist the I&C Engineer in ensuring that all I&C equipment are well maintained and all notifications of planned and unplanned work are completed on time.

 

3.  KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

Description

 

Safety at Work

  • Ensures a safe working environment for himself, his colleagues while working on any equipment;
  • Ensures that there is a Permit to Work (taken by the I&C Engineer) for each job as necessitated by the PP11 Power Plant HSE Procedures put in place;
  • Ensures all necessary precautions are taken by himself and Contractors while undertaking any jobs in PP11 Power Plant;
  • Ensures that all necessary tools are available for the safe working on equipment and that are used during the performance of all jobs in the Plant;
  • Points out any unsafe conditions to the I&C Engineer.

 

Maintenance Task Planning and Execution

  • Completes all Work Orders generated in SAP as directed by the I&C Engineer;
  • Generates reports (mainly log sheets/check sheets) as necessary for the maintenance done;
  • Ensures that maintenance of all I&C equipment is in accordance with OEM Manuals for the equipment;
  • Reviews I&C maintenance procedures and suggests improvements;
  • Works to full potential and ensures that work is of very high quality.

 

 

Equipment Failure Trouble Shooting and Repair

  • Supports reliable and accessible 24-hour call-out functionality;
  • Attempts all possible means of reducing equipment downtime and ensuring high plant availability;
  • Performs trouble shooting activities as necessary along with the I&C Engineer and colleagues to determine failure conditions and rectifies defects found;
  • Records and reports to the I&C Engineer all rectification jobs undertaken;
  • Works with Plant Operations Personnel for resolving problems encountered with mechanical equipment under the guidance of the I&C Engineer.

 

Reporting and Planning

  • Discusses planned and unplanned jobs undertaken with the I&C Engineer;
  • Assists the I&C Engineer in planning daily jobs.

 

Tools

  • Ensures necessary tooling is available at work site during performance of any job;
  • Uses correct tools for each job;
  • Reports loss of tools or damage to any tools to the I&C Engineer;
  • Informs the I&C Engineer of any requirements for tools;
  • Ensures tools are in good working order.

 

Ownership

  • Assumes ownership of plant I&C equipment and strives to maintain them in the best possible condition.

5.  JOB CONTEXT:

  • Dhuruma O&M company Ltd operates a combined cycle power facility with 1729 MW of power capacity. The company has two shareholders: Kahrabel FZE, with Head Office in Dubai and Aljomaih Energy & Water Company Limited, with Head Office in Riyadh.
  • Dhuruma O&M company Ltd performs services through an O&M agreement for the Owner of the power facility: Dhuruma Electricity Company.
  • The project is a Greenfield IPP with a 20 year PPA with single off-taker (SEC) on BOO basis.
  • The Job Holder will be based at Dhuruma power plant (PP11), 125 km West of Riyadh;
  • Works in the Power Plant under the supervision of the I&C Engineer;
  • The Job Holder works closely with other I&C Technicians to ensure the Plant Routines are actioned efficiently and to high quality standards;
  • The Job Holder is required to understand and promptly act upon oral operational instructions, respond effectively in pressure situations, makes quick decisions in the event of breakdown or failure to safeguard the Plant, manage stress, coordinate and follow up on maintenance activities, ensuring high levels of safety and compliance with procedures.

 

6.  PROBLEM SOLVING:

  • The Job Holder is supposed to act and find solutions to (potential) problems within the Department; however he is responsible for keeping the I&C engineer informed.
  • The thinking environment is characterized by diverse, standardized operating procedures;
  • The Job Holder must consider how problems will be solved.  The focus is on working with the I&C Engineer to apply learned techniques, maintenance experience, initiative and judgment at problem solving.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma

Experience:

  • At least 10 years experience in the I&C maintenance of a large combined cycle power plant, 3 of which must have been in the capacity of I&C Technician
  • Use of safety systems
  • Use of computerized maintenance management system
  • Relevant experience in the instrumentation field is required, preferably in a combined cycle plant of industrial environment;
  • Good experience in the maintenance and repair of power plant equipment, preferably in a power and desalination plant;
  • Operational plant or construction site experience is an advantage.

  • Perform maintenance monitoring and operation of all building systems via the BMS System including: fire/life safety, mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, controls) electrical (lighting, UPS, PDU, generators, primary switchgear), cabling (data and Power), lighting and temperature controls systems, critical environments, digital systems (fire alarm).
  • Maintaining, monitoring and performing preventive maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems including fire/life safety, mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, controls), electrical (lighting, UPS, PDU, generators, primary switch gear), emergency backup systems and hot water systems.
  • Record readings and make adjustments where necessary to ensure proper operation of equipment.
  • Analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions and communicate for corrective action.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal O&M team and NOC.
  • Participate in emergency response and problem management. 
  • Respond to incidents and mitigate the damage and obtain information on the cause of the problem as applicable. 
  • Ensure that escalation is performed per the escalation plan.

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION / KNOWLEDGE:

  • Diploma in electronics, electrical or any related field.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel.
  • Familiar with Health & Safety guidelines and procedures, especially for operating electrical or energized equipment.

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years related work experience, with BMS systems and controls.
  • Must have hands-on experience in a data center/critical facility, including controls systems, mechanical and electrical systems.

What You Can Expect

As the Key Account Analyst, you will be the primary point of contact for ENGIE customers, promoting long-term relationships and ensuring a positive customer experience. You will be responsible for maintaining consistent customer contact, overseeing timely and accurate reporting, utilizing Salesforce Customer Care information, promoting new strategic initiatives, and advocating for the renewal process. Your role is crucial in providing customer satisfaction and using customer service data to achieve ENGIE’s customer service goals.

 

In this position, you will foster retention by ensuring a smooth customer journey and coordinating day-to-day issues related to ongoing services for ENGIE customers. You will arrange meetings with new customers to onboard and train them on ENGIE systems and processes, handle customer requests related to services and contract questions, and analyze customer inquiries to respond promptly and professionally. Serving as a customer advocate, you will provide feedback to customer relations management and other key internal stakeholders to assist in retention strategies and overall customer satisfaction. You will coordinate with relevant groups, such as sales, customer service, legal, and accounting, to resolve customer disputes. Additionally, you will assist with all aspects of contract management, transaction management, invoicing, and other functions to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

 

Your responsibilities will also include attending meetings and delivering yearly reports on customer progress, supporting customer renewal efforts and campaigns, and auditing the Aging Report to work with customers to resolve outstanding invoices older than 90 days. Success in this role requires strong analytical and communication skills to manage customer interactions effectively. You will play a vital role in fostering long-term customer relationships and ensuring that customer service goals are met, contributing to the overall success of ENGIE’s customer retention strategies.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of a two (2) year degree in which you have learned skills to be customer centric
  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in sales or customer service with proven successful history in a directly related customer service role
  • Knowledge and understanding of energy services, measurements, and technology

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy; or can be remote
  • This role requires attendance at a customer site on an occasional basis
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 25% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record, and the ability to drive to customer locations within the state of California

Compensation

Salary Range: $ 62,400– $ 95,450 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
