Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities, secure land rights, and establish strategies for delivering value from sites, including commercial, planning, community, and technical strategies.
  • Assess and advise on markets and technologies to ensure the next generation of sites target strong market opportunities.
  • Manage relationships and contractual obligations with landowners, overseeing all land aspects through design, planning, financial close, and construction phases.
  • Independently originate and manage the development of renewable projects from conceptualization to financial close.
  • Lead a team of grid and land experts to bring projects to the "Ready to Build" stage.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Intimate knowledge of planning, permitting, and grid availability in the UK.
  • Strong business relationships with key stakeholders such as developers, planning, and grid consultants.
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering renewable projects with an aggregate capacity of at least 150 MW in the UK.
  • Conversant with Route-to-Market options, including CFDs and corporate PPAs for renewable projects.
  • Detailed understanding of the UK electricity sector and regulations.
  • Ability to optimize costs, both capital and O&M.
  • Good understanding of the sector landscape and relevant stakeholders like offtakers and contractors.
  • Proficiency in land acquisition, grid connection, and planning consent processes/principles.
  • Understanding of EPC contracting structures and tendering processes.
  • Intimate knowledge of capital costs and O&M costs linked to PV/onshore wind and batteries.
  • Conversant with investment and project financing principles.
  • Financial modelling experience is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Ability to proactively work to deadlines on multiple projects concurrently.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Project.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in developing renewable projects in the UK, including:
    • Identifying/acquiring land
    • Achieving grid connection
    • Obtaining planning consents
    • Originating corporate PPAs
    • Participating in CFD auctions

Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified with relevant professional body qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • UK Drivers Licence and ability to travel nationally

  • Negociación de contratos.

  • Support the development and launch of new products to market, including sales training, internal process development and user testing of necessary system enhancements. Support the development and maintenance of the Customer Lifetime Value model for commercial & industrial customers, tracking customer engagements, cost of acquisition, cost of service, retention & attrition, and complete the Marketing ROI
  • Derive insights into sales performance, positioning and margin through the analysis of market data, historic sales metrics, sales pipeline, market targets, customer segmentation and product offerings in order to enhance the profitability of the business
  • Develop analytical framework, tools, techniques, and capabilities to segment, target, and profile market opportunity, revenue potential, and pricing strategies

What You’ll Bring

  • You hold a Bachelor's Degree in a Business, Marketing or related field
  • A minimum of five (5) years working experience in sales and or marketing, experience in B2B environment or retail energy experience
  • You are experienced in data analysis, market research, market business planning, project, program management or forecasting
  • You are highly analytical with proven experience developing complex queries across multiple data sources and presenting insights clearly to stakeholders
  • You have strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking abilities, and proficiency in SQL programming, project management, and database design
  • You are knowledgeable in technical system documentation and can effectively collaborate with IT system teams to support data needs
  • You are proficient in CRM software, MS PowerBI (or similar analytics platforms), and have hands-on experience building performance dashboards
  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to think critically, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in project teams

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy, three (3) days in the Houston, TX office

Compensation

Salary Range: $86,100 – $132,020 USD annually

 

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Job Purpose/Mission 

The Sales Operations Officer oversees day-to-day logistics and administrative operations including fleet management, field stock and asset control, vehicle maintenance, health and safety compliance, and coordination with field agents. The role supports the Agent Relations Officer in agent lifecycle oversight and ensures field teams have the operational tools and infrastructure needed to deliver on sales and collections performance.

 

Responsibilities

1. Fleet and Vehicle Management

  • Oversee company vehicle scheduling and ensure optimal fleet utilization for field coverage.
  • Manage vehicle maintenance schedules, service records, and repairs to ensure roadworthiness.
  • Track fuel usage, submit requisitions, and monitor consumption patterns to prevent misuse.
  • Maintain GPS tracking systems and review driving behavior reports to ensure safety and efficiency.

2. Field Stock and Ordering Oversight

  • Forecast and place stock orders based on field demand and sales pipeline.
  • Coordinate with warehouse/logistics teams to ensure timely stock delivery to field agents.
  • Monitor daily stock movement, returns, and reconciliation against sales reports.
  • Flag inconsistencies or losses and escalate to relevant managers for resolution.

3. Agent Oversight Support

  • Support the Agent Relations Officer in coordinating onboarding logistics and tools setup.
  • Review weekly agent performance dashboards and flag underperformance or operational blockers.
  • Coordinate field visits, performance reviews, and feedback forums.
  • Ensure all agents have access to sales kits, branded materials, and mobile systems.

4. Health, Safety, and Compliance

  • Conduct periodic safety audits and vehicle inspections to reduce operational risk.

5. Reporting and Field Coordination

Knowledge and Skills 

Experience:

  • 2-4 years’ experience in field operations, fleet or logistics coordination, preferably in PayGo, telecom, FMCG, or microfinance.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and cross-functional coordination skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, Operations, or related field.

You will be responsible for establishing strategies, managing timelines, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory changes.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish strategies for delivering value from renewable project sites, including commercial, planning, community, and technical strategies.
  • Work closely with internal and external teams (engineering, legal, and finance) to ensure smooth progress from project development to construction.
  • Manage timelines and deliverables related to land acquisition, environmental and socio-economic aspects of the project.
  • Engage with local, regional, and national government agencies to secure permits, licenses, and authorizations.
  • Represent the company in public meetings, forums, and consultations related to project development.
  • Manage community engagement efforts, building positive relationships with local communities and addressing concerns related to project impacts.
  • Coordinate the evaluation of environmental impact assessments (EIA) and ensure environmental viability and compliance.
  • Manage and coordinate relations with landowners, negotiating and securing land lease agreements.
  • Lead the identification and evaluation of potential sites for PV, BESS, and onshore wind projects.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to draft and formalize contracts and agreements.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, Land Management, Urban Planning, or a related field.
  • Prior experience  in developing renewable projects in the UK, with specific experience in originating greenfield Renewable and BESS projects.
  • Experience in identifying and acquiring land, optimizing grid connections, conducting environmental assessments, and applying for planning consents.
  • Experience in originating corporate PPAs and participating in CFD auctions.
  • Knowledge of EPC contracting structures and tendering processes.
  • Understanding of capital and O&M costs linked to PV, onshore wind, and batteries.
  • Conversant with investment principles and project financing.
  • Financial modelling experience is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in MS Office with advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Project.
  • UK Driver's Licence and ability to travel nationally and to the EU.

 

Skills and Competencies:

  • Good understanding of Route-to-Market options, including CFDs and corporate PPAs for renewable projects.
  • Working knowledge of the UK electricity sector and regulations.
  • Strong understanding of land acquisition, grid connection, and planning consent processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proactive, self-starter, and team player.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders across a range of disciplines.
