Main responsibilities:

 

  • Identifying new sales channels for electricity, green electricity, green natural gas, and PPA products
  • Overseeing the sales process of products through indirect channels (managing the technical process and sales support)
  • Initiating contacts and negotiating, as well as maintaining direct business relationships with partners
  • Managing the product offering directed to clients, including creating price lists, securing positions, and verifying IRiESD
  • Implementing and monitoring the sales plan
  • Settling and verifying partners
  • Monitoring and reporting on the work of partners and sales representatives
  • Creating and updating sales materials (economic, technical, and regulatory aspects)
  • Providing product and ethical training
  • Monitoring and analyzing the market and managing key sales performance indicators
  • Coordinating work with the ENGIE Group

 

Candidate profile:

  • Higher education, preferably in technical or economic fields
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, at least 3 years in coordinating indirect sales in the energy sector
  • Proficiency in English at the B2 level
  • Developed skills and knowledge of sales and negotiation techniques
  • Communicative and able to establish contacts easily
  • Knowledge of the electricity market mechanisms in Poland
  • Ability to operate efficiently and independently
  • Persistence in achieving set goals

Role Summary

 

We are seeking a talented and experienced Design Engineer to lead the technical design, including grid, required for the development of renewable energy projects in the SEA (Malaysia and Philippines). The role will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient integration of renewable energy sources into the grid network, while maximizing projects reliability.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead the technical requirements required by the renewable energy projects (Solar and Wind) during the pre-development and development.
  • Identify potential points of interconnection on the Grid for the development of renewable energy projects. 
  • Lead the preparation and completion of grid studies with the support of grid consultants on the respective countries. 
  • Ensure compliance with design requirements and grid codes related to renewable energy integration, and engage with regulatory agencies to address grid-related issues and obtain necessary approvals.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams located in India and France on the design optimization of the project. 
  • Analyze grid performance data, including renewable energy generation patterns and grid stability metrics, to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in design of renewable energy projects.
  • Strong understanding of grid infrastructure and renewable energy technologies, including grid integration challenges and solutions.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in designing renewable energy project, including grid management and grid codes.

  • You will identify new RES project opportunities (greenfield or ready-to-build) in line with the company strategy;
  • You will analyze these opportunities from profitability point of view, propose improvements, grow projects up and be part of the team which will implement them;
  • You will perform opportunity pre-feasibility, cost-benefit and comparative analyses by reviewing the technical studies in order to select the projects that will be implemented;

Desired education, expertise, and skills:

The entity from Romania is currently seeking a Sales Manager. The team is involved in a wide range of different projects, both in Romania and internationally.

 

Your function

  • You implement the Sales strategy of the company.
  • You are responsible and you participate in the Sales activities (prospecting, bidding, negotiating…) allocated to you, targeting existing and new clients and ensuring sustainable growth of the business;
  • You are responsible for offer preparation, offer submission and commercial negotiation up to contract signature;
  • You prepare the offers jointly with the concerned Product Manager and Tender Manager, by case;
  • You participate to prospection activities, by case;
  • You develop, manage and strengthen professional relationships with customers, partners, government authorities and others stakeholders;
  • You support the Business Developer(s) in identifying new opportunities and you give them a return of experience in terms of won/lost tenders, collaboration with partners, market price and etc…
  • You set up and implement sales plans for growing and effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations;
  • You understand category-specific landscapes and trends and attend industry conferences and network;
  • You have a good knowledge of Romanian legislation for public procurement, as well as general legislation for investments, engineering, etc.
  • You use specific tools dedicated to Sales activity;
  • You report to the Sales Director.
     

Candidate’s profile

  • You have demonstrable experience as Sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions with at least 5 years in the sales department with exposure to the main areas of the commercial process;
  • You have a proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to closure;
  • You are a team player, are not afraid to propose innovative solutions and have negotiation skills;
  • You are an excellent communicator with strong listening, negotiation and presentation skills;
  • You are rigorous, well organized and good at planning simultaneous assignments;
  • You are capable to work under stress and without  delays;
  • You are fluent in Romanian and in English (knowledge of an additional European language is an asset);
  • You have international experience;
  • You have a BA/BS degree or equivalent.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Educated to A-level standard, degree level or equivalent - preferred but not essential 
  • Good writing/communication (GCSE English, Maths) 
  • Desirable to have or be undertaking learning towards certification in Lean / Lean Six Sigma / Scrum / IIBA /Change Management. 
  • Minimum 5 years of experience of identifying and implementing business improvements, demonstrating the ability to influence and motivate. 
  • Previous experience of the Energy Industry desirable, preferably Electricity & Gas in a B2B market. 
  • Proven ability to organise and produce work to tight deadlines.
