Missão do Cargo

Assegurar o desenvolver Projetos, coordenando recursos, prazos e tarefas, com o objetivo de alcançar os resultados desejados dentro dos parâmetros estabelecidos. Promover a colaboração entre as equipes envolvidas, otimizando desempenho global e garantindo a entrega bem-sucedida e oportuna dos resultados esperados.

 

Principais Atividades

1- Elaborar cronogramas e estabelecer metas para cada fase do Projeto, garantindo seu progresso eficiente e bem-sucedido, mantendo o foco nos objetivos específicos de cada etapa, avaliando o progresso do Projeto e identificando quaisquer desafios ou ajustes necessários ao longo do caminho, permitindo assim uma gestão mais eficaz e adaptativa do projeto.
2- Analisar tarefas em relação à estratégia delineada pelo PMO, alinhando objetivos globais, estabelecendo prioridades de forma a otimizar os recursos disponíveis e garantir o avanço eficaz do projeto, permitindo uma tomada de decisão fundamentada e direcionada, maximizando assim o potencial de êxito em todas as etapas do projeto.
3- Ajustar planos estratégicos visando assegurar a conclusão bem-sucedida do projeto dentro dos parâmetros de tempo e orçamento estabelecidos previamente, analisando o progresso do Projeto, identificando possíveis desvios e implementando medidas corretivas conforme necessário. Além disso, considerar eventuais mudanças nas condições do ambiente ou nos requisitos do projeto, adaptando os planos conforme apropriado para garantir a entrega oportuna e dentro do orçamento.
4- Oferecer suporte à tomada de decisões, analisando informações sensíveis e estratégicas, coletando e interpretando dados relevantes e traduzindo essas informações em insights acionáveis ​​para os líderes da Empresa. Ademais, fornecer perspectiva analítica, considerando tanto necessidades imediatas quanto os objetivos estratégicos de longo prazo, contribuindo para uma abordagem informada e assertiva na gestão de recursos, mitigação de riscos e identificação de oportunidades para impulsionar o sucesso corporativo.
5- Estabelecer comunicação com a equipe interna, realizando alinhamentos regulares para um claro entendimento de metas e progressos em todas as fases do projeto. Manter os membros da equipe informados sobre expectativas e direções, promovendo um ambiente de trabalho colaborativo e engajado, visando facilitar a identificação de desafios e implementar soluções de forma proativa, maximizando assim a eficiência e a coesão da equipe em direção aos objetivos do projeto.
6- Implementar metodologias ágeis, como a ferramenta LEAN, visando promover a eficiência e a adaptação contínua às necessidades dos projetos. Valorizar a colaboração entre os membros da equipe, a flexibilidade no planejamento e a entrega incremental de resultados. Identificar e resolver rapidamente desafios que surgem ao longo do processo é essencial, mantendo o foco na entrega de valor ao cliente e garantindo a qualidade do produto final.
7- Estruturar e controlar os Indicadores-Chave de Desempenho (KPIs) de Projetos, monitorando e avaliando o progresso em direção aos objetivos estabelecidos, definindo métricas relevantes e mensuráveis, identificando oportunidades de otimização e áreas de melhoria, visando garantir a eficácia operacional e facilitar uma tomada de decisão mais informada e orientada a dados ao longo do ciclo de vida do Projeto.
8- Realizar interfaces com lesson learned, aprimorando projetos futuros, revisando e documentando experiências, identificando insights e melhores práticas, assegurando promover a colaboração, evitando erros repetidos e contribuindo para a melhoria contínua em todos os níveis da empresa.
9- Realizar visitas frequentes aos Projetos, identificando riscos operacionais, avaliando o andamento e detectando precocemente obstáculos que possam impactar o cronograma e a conformidade contratual. Isso visa garantir a entrega final de valor ao cliente e a obtenção de resultados satisfatórios.

The Engineer II is a role responsible for supporting the development and installation of energy conservation measures and renewable energy with large-scale public sector customers. The right person will be working in a fast-paced, team-based environment, at the direction of the Project Manager as well as their supervisor. Responsibilities in this role include the design of Energy Conservation and Renewable Energy Measures (ECM), performing site audits, specifying equipment, and completing savings calculations to support projects in development and construction. Engineering Advisor

What You Can Expect

Our Engineering Advisor will be fully remote located in proximity to a major airport and will be developing and implementing client solutions in the Waste Water Treatment market on a national basis. 

 

Daily, The Engineering Advisor is responsible for providing solution development, technology selection, cost estimation, utility and operational cost impacts, overview and management of engineering design drawings and specifications, oversight during construction including submittal review, RFI management, and site inspections, and customer interaction. Typical project values are $20-80 million dollars.

 

As an Engineering Advisor you will assist and support Business Development Managers in efforts to develop and validate Waste Water Treatment project concepts and provide expertise in developing the project from concept through construction. 

 

During construction, you will perform site inspections to assure the construction is following the design intent.  You will also be supporting the commissioning process assuring that all systems are properly started up and required documentation is complete and submitted to the appropriate Authority.  The Engineering Advisor also provides mentorship and training to other project team members.   The position supports the projected growth of the assigned business unit.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
  • You will have a minimum of  seven (7) years’ related experience,  in process or waste water design, installation, and / or maintenance
  • You will be experienced in the development and management of technical/analytical solution models that feed business case analyses
  • You will have experience  providing qualification support with Business Development team. This is primarily a technical evaluation but can also include relationship assignment as well in a high and wide sales strategy
  • You are experienced in  the design engineering development for initial project development phases of wastewater project
  • You will be an expert in providing Engineering with initial feasibility P&ID’s, functional specifications and general arraignment of new facilities
  • Experienced in establishing and building strategic relationships with vendors/manufacturer’s representatives, consulting engineers, and contractors
  • You perform site visits during construction to assure installation aligns with the design intent
  • You perform commissioning tasks to assure the completed systems are properly started up and all required documentation is provided
  • You have experience or interest in co-digestion

 

 

Additional Details

  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record; this employee will be traveling to client sites and various projects, not located in proximity to public transit
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
  • Must be available to travel domestically an average of 20-25% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips

Être Chargé.e d’études, c’est réaliser des études technico-économiques au plus près du terrain, dans l’ingénierie des réseaux de distribution, pour faciliter l’accès au gaz naturel et garantir l’alimentation de nos clients, avec pour maîtres mots : Sécurité et Services

 

Votre environnement de travail :

Au sein du Bureau d'Etudes Régional Gaz, vous réalisez des études technico-économiques pour évaluer la fiabilité, la sûreté et la rentabilité de projets d’ouvrages de distribution du gaz.

Vous intervenez en amont du lancement de chantiers variés sur les ouvrages (raccordement d’un nouveau client ou commune, renouvellement d’un ouvrage, adaptation du réseau aux évolutions des consommations ou de la réglementation…). 

Vos études fournissent toutes les données clés indispensables aux décisions d’investissement sur des projets, et à la bonne réalisation des ouvrages. 

Pour contribuer à la conception et à l’évolution des ouvrages de distribution du gaz.

 

Vos missions :

  • Vous réalisez des études technico-économiques qui permettent d’obtenir le niveau optimum de qualité de fourniture de gaz et de coût (calculs des prévisions de consommation, de dépenses, de rentabilité, …), en prenant en compte tous les critères techniques de sécurité industrielle, de sûreté des installations et de respect de l’environnement afin de proposer les solutions techniques adaptées en termes d’implantation, de dimensionnement, …
  • Vous préparez le dossier complet d’investissement associé à chaque projet (configuration technique, coût, délais, …).
  • Vous assurez la traçabilité de vos études et dossiers traités dans les différentes applications informatiques Métiers et contribuez ainsi à la qualité des bases de données cartographiques du patrimoine technique et industriel de l’entreprise. 
  • Vous participez à la préparation des programmes et budgets annuels prévisionnels de travaux et d’investissement de la Région.
  • Vous travaillez, à chacune des étapes, en coordination avec de nombreux acteurs internes (ingénieurs conception, maîtres d’ouvrage, exploitants, …) et externes (opérateurs de transport, nouveaux clients, …).

Un fixe sur 13 mois pouvant aller de 27 K à 32 K € (selon expérience professionnelle liée à l’emploi, votre situation familiale).

Viendra s’y ajouter une rémunération variable par le biais d’une prime d’intéressement. Vous avez également accès à l’épargne salariale et êtes couvert par notre mutuelle d’entreprise.

What You Can Expect

As a Lead Wind Technician, you will report to Ontario West Operations Manager and operate and maintain the site by optimizing wind generation availability and performance through established procedures with the highest regard for health, safety and environment compliance.

 

  • Shall be a leader in safety, upholding safety as a core value
  • Actively participate in the behavior-based safety program and ensure every team member and contractor complies with all safety procedures and applicable task-oriented job safety analyses
  • Ensure site safety rules are communicated and adhered to through Site Specific Orientations, Job Hazard Safety Plan (JSPs) and Tailboard Meetings
  • Demonstrate procedural compliance in all site operation and maintenance activities by utilizing established procedures
  • Facilitate and implement all daily work as the on-site Tech, including coordinating with service providers, contractors, producing Reports including but not limited to Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly reports
  • Operate site equipment, both directly and remotely
  • Monitor site performance
  • Coordinate Switching and Curtailments with relevant local utilities and Independent System Operators (ISOs).
  • Ensure site equipment is kept at the highest possible standard maximizing availability, reliability, efficiency, and profitability
  • Demonstrate work planning skills, activity scheduling and follow up to assure work conformance
  • Perform routine inspections – safely using tools (e.g. multimeter and Infrared Camera)
  • Manage contractors, ensuring quality work, completed safely and promptly
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills that include listening to other’s ideas and viewpoints, earning trust, and resolving conflict situations
  • Primary point of contact for all landowners
  • Manage Spare Parts inventory
  • Coordinate work on site between different contractors
  • Perform the housekeeping functions and equipment cleaning necessary to maintain the site in a clean and neat condition.
  • Recommend operating and/or maintenance changes that will enhance plant performance and availability
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information available to the position
  • Comply with all contractual and legal obligations impacting plant operation
  • Demonstrate the consistent use of Root Cause Failure Analysis techniques when solving plant abnormalities and equipment failures
  • Must be able to analyze complex problems under the pressure of emergency conditions
  • Use computerized Work Order, Purchase Requisition and Receiving software
  • Support other wind assets including solar generating sites for planned and forced outages-may require overnight stays.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • 3-year diploma in a technical program or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience industrial Medium voltage or High voltage
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience at a Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) site or a substation Power Plant
  • Trades qualifications an asset: (Lineman, Electrician, Millwright, Control Technician)
  • Ability to effectively use diagnostic equipment
  • Proficient with using a personal computer and software tools to analyze plant performance data and prepare reports or presentations
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain substation equipment such as: electrical control circuits, transformers, high voltage breakers and collection lines
  • Be proficient in using Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System’s & other associated WTG monitoring systems
  • Required to be on call as deemed necessary by your direct manager
  • Must be able to respond to plant emergencies outside of normal working hours
  • Must have demonstrated ability to communicate effectively. Verbal and non-verbal, i.e., formal reports
  • Must be able to operate a computer terminal (or have the capability of learning), calculator, etc.
  • High Voltage (HV) experience is preferred; Able to attain AVO substation technician certification within 12 months of hire
  • Must be able to read and understand an electric single line diagram for purpose of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and troubleshooting  
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to use  personal computer, office 365
  • Capable of frequently standing; walking; balancing, sitting; climbing (ladders, stairs, ramps, catwalks, stacks and the like as required); stooping; squatting; crouching; crawling; kneeling; reaching; grasping; pushing; pulling; lifting (min. 50lbs); feeling; talking and hearing
  • Capable of performing repetitive motions as required
  • Required to have eyesight corrected at 20/40 to accurately read and interpret such as but not limited to instruments, gauges, and manuals
  • Must be physically capable of entering and working in a confined space (crawl spaces, small enclosed areas, etc.) as required
  • Must be physically capable of performing demanding work at various heights greater than 250 feet and in adverse conditions during operations, shutdowns, and in fire/emergency activities
  • Must be physically capable of wearing protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to - fall protection equipment, hardhat, safety shoes, safety glasses, arc-flash clothing, respiratory protection, etc.
  • Able and willing to perform first aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role requires daily attendance at a worksite
  • Reside within 30 minutes of commute to Ontario West Operations Building with the ability to meet highest attendance requirements
  • Must be available to travel domestically & internationally up to 20% of the time to support operations at other Canadian region sites, training and conferences, with the need for some overnight trips
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Canadian driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Must be willing and able to comply with ENGIE’s policy with respect to COVID vaccination and testing 
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies 
  • The position consists of 30% work indoors and 70% work outdoors; outdoor work may expose the employee to adverse weather conditions 

 

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $37.18 – $54,40 CAD hourly

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
