What You Can Expect

As the on-site Wind Technician II, at the Seymour Hills Wind Project in Seymour, TX, you will report to the Operations and Maintenance office to meet the Site Operations Manager to receive work orders and discuss project details. Adaptability is crucial as tasks may vary depending on operational needs and requirements. Your primary responsibilities involve troubleshooting, repairing, reconnecting, and inspecting electrical equipment, including substations and overall site performance.  At this site you will be working with high voltage energized equipment and must follow all safety procedures including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) grounding and other safety precautions. Collaborating with service providers and contractors, you will oversee daily work activities, produce various reports, operate site equipment, and coordinate with local utilities and Independent System Operators (ISOs) for switching and curtailments.

 

Ensuring compliance with ENGIE and regulatory agency standards, you'll conduct inspections and recurring checks on site equipment. You'll actively participate in behavior-based safety programs, enforce safety procedures, and conduct orientations and meetings to promote a safe working environment. Alongside routine inspections and serving as the main contact for landowners, you'll manage spare parts inventory, coordinate contractor work, and maintain cleanliness on-site.

 

Gaining and maintaining GWO training is required, as well as participating in turbine climbing activities. You'll provide recommendations for operational and maintenance improvements, offer equipment operation training, and utilize Root Cause Failure Analysis techniques to address failures. You will work on computerized work order systems for purchase requisitions and receiving statuses.  From time to time you will be required to support other wind assets during planned outages and emergencies, potentially requiring overnight stays. Furthermore, you'll be part of an on-call rotation and must reside within 50 miles of the site to respond promptly to outages and emergencies.

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum High school diploma

  • Minimum two (2) years of experience and knowledge of Solar generation, Wind generation, Thermal power, Manufacturing or Mining operations, or Controls & Industrial Maintenance where you have working knowledge of industrial electrical or substation equipment including breaker, disconnects, transformers, contactors
  • Must have or be willing to obtain certification as substation technician within twelve (12) months of hire date

 

 

Additional Details

  • This is a field position requiring regular travel to client site(s)
  • This role requires daily attendance at a worksite
  • Must be available to travel domestically to other solar plants for emergencies and assist with outages
  • Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license/clean driving record to drive company vehicle on and around the plant

Compensation

Salary Range:  $27.00- $43.51 USD hourly

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

What You Can Expect

The Project Manager (PM) II will sit in Denver, CO and is responsible for providing overall management of the design, construction, and commissioning of a utility scale renewable project throughout the US. The PM is responsible for managing execution of multiple engineering, construction, and procurement contracts.  As a PM you will work with our internal and external teams, and subcontractors, to oversee the design of the project and will work with our on-site Construction Monitoring team to manage and monitor the work.  Provide training and mentoring for assigned team members. 

 

Every day in this role the PM II will manage the project team including the contractors, owner-engineer, on-site construction monitoring team, and other project administration staff.  The on-site team may include a staff of seven (7) to ten (10) persons including site management, safety, logistics, and quality control

  • Manage multiple construction projects running concurrently
  • Conduct Weekly Meetings including Design Reviews and Coordination with the local Utility, ERCOT, and Site Coordination
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports for Progress, Safety and Quality
  • Manage Construction and Procurement Contracts, Invoices, Change Order Requests, Submittals, RFI’s, and prepare Cost Forecast Reports
  • Assist with pre-construction activities and with the management of the Project Schedule and Schedule Updates
  • Assist with developing and implementing the Inspection, Testing, and Commissioning Plans
  • Manage the Interconnection Process and Project Close-Out
  • Assist with the development and implementation of the Document Controls Processes
  • Provide Training and Mentoring to the on-site Construction Management Team
  • Build, foster, and maintain a collaborative working environment within the Project Team

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field in which you have gained a knowledge of construction management, engineering elements, and project management functions 

  • Minimum of two (2) years related experience as a project manager with experience in constructing large utility scale renewable or complex construction projects
  • Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills with
  • Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Construction Processes and Sequencing
  • Hands on experience with hand tools and mobile equipment  (excavator, bucket truck, boom lift, and mobile equipment)

Jefe de Implementación (Technical & Interphases Leader) – sede Moquegua

 

Temporal – 18 meses

 

¿Qué tareas realizarás?

  • Dirigir y coordinar la revisión del diseño de ingeniería preparado por los contratistas EPC con el Owner Engineer, el Soporte de Ingeniería y PMO y la organización EEP.
  • Coordinación y gestión de los comentarios a la ingeniería y documentos recibidos (filtrando lo importante y evitando redundancias) con el apoyo de los Supervisores de Disciplina.
  • Liderar reuniones de ingeniería para definir el diseño y aclarar comentarios con los contratistas.
  • Proponer soluciones alternativas al Site Manager que puedan mitigar riesgos, reducir costes/tiempo, etc. (ingeniería de valor).
  • Coordinar con el Site Manager y gestionar las inspecciones y pruebas de fábrica y el personal requerido para las mismas en ausencia del Líder QA/QC.
  • Coordinar con el Site Manager y gestionar el equipo de sitio en ausencia de este.
  • Responsable de la identificación de todas las interfaces y preparación de las hojas de interfaces generales del proyecto.
  • Coordinar y resolver interferencias entre diferentes disciplinas y diferentes contratos.
  • Organizar la coordinación y solución de interfaces entre las diferentes disciplinas y contratos.
  • Liderar las actividades de comisionado y puesta en servicio del proyecto.

 

¿Qué habilidades técnicas necesitamos para esta posición?

  • Profesional en Ingeniería Mecánica, Eléctrica, Mecánica-Eléctrica o Ramas Afines.
  • Experiencia mayor a 10 años en revisión de diseño,  supervisión de proyectos eléctricos (de preferencia experiencia en plantas solares y redes de transmisión).
  • Experiencia en Comisionado y puesta en servicio de proyectos eléctricos (deseable Plantas Solares)
  • Deseable conocimiento de manejo de software de control de proyectos (Aconex/Procore)
  • Deseable conocimiento del PMBOK o certificación PMP.
  • Inglés nivel intermedio.
  • MS Office / MS Project
