Busca incorporar un/a supervisor/a de equipo de mantenimiento de Plantas Hidroeléctricas en la zona de Logroño.

Funciones principales:

  • Colaboran con el Jefe de Plantas de su zona en la organización, dirección y asistencia técnica del trabajo
  • En caso de ausencia del Jefe de Plantas se responsabilizan de todas las instalaciones asumiendo la organización y dirección del trabajo.
  • Se responsabilizan y dirigen cualquier tipo de desmontaje y montaje de equipos.
  • Tienen plenos conocimientos eléctricos, mecánicos así como de automatismos. Poseen igualmente, conocimientos de informática a nivel de usuario.
  • Realizan trabajos de explotación y mantenimiento diario y extraordinario en todas las Plantas de su Zona.
  • Tienen plenos conocimientos de los procedimientos de Seguridad y Medio Ambiente, así como de los procedimientos técnicos que la empresa vaya desarrollando.
  • Dirigir descargos en instalaciones de Alta Tensión.
  • Controlar y colaborar con las empresas subcontratadas en la realización de los trabajos. Dichas empresas deben estar debidamente autorizadas y con el conocimiento expreso de su supervisor,
  • Facilitar el acceso y colaborar con las administraciones y terceros que así lo soliciten, con el conocimiento y autorización expresa de su supervisor

 

Requisitos:

  • Formación a nivel de Ingeniería Técnica / Formación profesional.
  • Experiencia mínima de 3 años en puesto similar.

Formación complementaria

  • PRL básico 60 horas.
  • Usuario en paquete office.

Mission

 

The Control Center team holds the responsibility of monitoring and control assets ´performance of Engie’s renewable portfolio. The position of Control Center Operator will be based at ENGIE headquarters (Madrid). Reporting to the Control Center Coordinator

 

Functions

 

- Management of internal/external works due to incidents or weekly/annual schedules affecting Engie's generation (renewable, hydro and cogeneration) and substations in coordination with DSO/TSO/EE (Electricity Company)/CCBB (Community of Assets) at shared facilities, following technical analysis and required conditions.

- Define the required manoeuvres and authorise internal/external works following technical analysis and established conditions.

- Prepare the required work releases together with the single-line plans and the protected areas to prevent electrical risks

- Prepare and update internal documentation at Operation level in relation to electrical substations with their switchgear and remote controls

- Manage the integration of assets and substations in the CC and in the REDEIA (REDEIA) according to the established requirements, coordinating and carrying out the previously defined point-to-point tests (P2P).

- Managing the implementation of the adjustment services (RR, R2, R3) as well as the Automatic Power Reduction System (SRAP) and the Active Demand Response Service (SRAD).

- Definition and management of internal and external protocols in relation to incidents and planned work on assets and substations.

- Defining and managing internal procedures at Operation level in relation to incidents due to protection alarms, communications and control system losses

- Prepare and define internal reporting reports at Operation level

- Internal and external training in relation to PRL of the electrical infrastructures as well as of the own personnel or contractors for local operation.

- Manage and coordinate at Operation level the power limitations established by REDEIA and GEMS (Electricity Market Operator).

           Job Purpose/Mission 

As part of the ENGIE Mozambique management team, the Head of MG and SBS Mozambique will be responsible for the overall strategic planning, financial management, and operational activities related to the Mini Grid and Solar Business Systems activity in Mozambique. He or she will supervise the construction of both Mini Grid and Solar Business System sites, technical operation and maintenance, sales, credit, and stakeholder relations. The head of MG and SBS has P&L responsibility for the Mini Grids and SBS activities in Mozambique. He / She will also contribute to the overall strategy and leadership of these entities.

The Head of MG and SBS primarily responsibilities include compliance to health and safety on all sites, and implementation of initiatives to stimulate power demand and grow revenues at the Mini Grid sites.

 

           Responsibilities

  • Strategy, planning, and execution: Develop and execute a strategy to make Mini Grids and SBS in Mozambique a success.
    • Set, curate, and communicate the vision for Mini Grids and SBS in Mozambique.
    • Lead and manage design and electrical engineering for solar projects throughout the lead creation and execution stages
    • Configure PV systems based on site conditions and customers’ needs and expectations.
    • Manage electrical work such as installation and maintenance of solar energy systems.
    • Schedule, coordinate, and inspect electrical installations and maintenance activities.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure the optimal performance of solar energy systems.
    • Train and support installation and maintenance technicians, promoting best practices, quality assurance checks, and continuous improvement.
    • Lead, iterate, support, and grow all Mini Grids and SBS activities in Mozambique.

    • Directly managing the construction of new mini grids across the country with adherence to health and safety, time, and budget.

    • Responsible for meeting revenue targets and for the Mini-Grid and SBS P&L.

    • Collaborate with other Mini Grid and SBS teams & EEA Global team to leverage and implement best practices from abroad, and brainstorm solutions to common challenges.
    • Responsible for ensuring compliance by all Mini Grid and SBS teams with EEA’s Health and Safety requirements.

Knowledge and skills 

Experience:

  • Must have strong project management experience, particularly experience managing construction projects and Health and Safety regulations.
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience; at least 2 of which are in a multi-functional organization with large teams.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and take relevant and nimble action on P&L and financial statements.
  • Experience in cultivating strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, whether in a boardroom or a customer’s off-grid home.
  • Excellent judgement and ability to work autonomously with a team in pursuit of innovative and aggressive stretch goals. 
  • Technical knowledge of solar energy systems and installation processes.
  • Registered & Certified with the DNE (Direcção Nacional de Energia) (mandatory).
  • Basic understanding of Health & Safety Requirements while dealing with low and medium voltage installations
  • Experience in sales/business development is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or a related field.
  • An MBA or master’s degree will be an added advantage.

What You Can Expect

As our Asset Operations, Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for executing field response for reactive and planned maintenance activities of select operating standalone battery assets in Corpus Christi, Texas area.  You will also serve as a key company representative for maintenance scheduling and coordination with internal teams as well as 3rd parties. This field-based position will work across departments to communicate updates and will require frequent travel, primarily to two facilities in South Texas.  As such, candidate must reside within  60 minutes of our Corpus Christi, TX area facilities.  

 

Every day you will be responsible for keeping the battery storage plants up and running, coordinate with various Original Equipment Manufactures “OEMs”, internal and external maintenance partners, provide hands-on troubleshooting of on-site technical issues, perform deviation detection and mitigation on the operating battery plants. You will communicate with internal departments, Performance Management, Asset Management, and Remote Operations teams to report any issues or needs and support issues resolutions coordinating with internal teams, OEMs and EMS providers. You will support reliability improvement plans via coordinating with in-house and third-party technical engineering staff.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum high school diploma or technical certificate
  • Minimum of three (3) years of electrical experience or comparable industrial experience such as Power Sector Industry, Military experience working with diesel generators or power systems, or Oil & Gas industry experience with maintenance/service experience of heavy machinery is beneficial in lieu of battery storage experience

What You Can Expect
As the Balance of Plant (BOP) Technician, located in Abbott, TX you will serve as the primary BOP relay technician for the plant installing, maintaining, testing, adjusting, troubleshooting & repairing relay and control equipment in the electrical substation which may include electromechanical, solid-state and microprocessor protective relays, instrument transformers, indication and KWH/KW meters, controls to all substation equipment including breakers, transformers, regulators, capacitors, reactors and all associated equipment, and remote control equipment including various forms of SCADA.

 

In this role your key responsibilities everyday will be:

  • Become a leader in safety, upholding safety as a core value
  • Actively participate in the behavior-based safety program and ensure every team member and contractor complies with all safety procedures and applicable task-oriented job safety analyses
  • Ensure site safety rules are communicated and adhered to through Site Specific Orientations, JSAs and Tailboard Meetings
  • Demonstrate procedural compliance in all site operation and maintenance activities by utilizing established procedures
  • Facilitate and implement all daily work as the on-site BOP Tech, including coordinating with service providers, contractors, producing Reports including but not limited to Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly reports
  • Operate site equipment, both directly and remotely
  • Monitor site performance
  • Coordinate Switching and Curtailments with relevant local utilities and ISOs.
  • Ensure site equipment is kept at the highest possible standard maximizing availability, reliability, efficiency, and profitability
  • Demonstrate work planning skills, activity scheduling and follow up to assure work conformance 
  • Perform routine inspections – safely using tools (e.g. multimeter and IR Camera)
  • Manage contractors, ensuring quality work, completed safely and promptly
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills that include listening to other’s ideas and viewpoints, earning trust, and resolving conflict situations

 


What You’ll Bring

  • A two (2) year associate or technical degree from a technical school in electronics or related field with four (4) years of related work experience. Or a high school diploma with a combination of education, work experience, or military services may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience industrial MV/HV voltage application
  • Knowledge to troubleshoot, repair and maintain substation equipment such as: electrical control circuits, transformers, high voltage breakers and collection lines

As the Site Operations Manager for this 500 MW power plant situated near Rogers, TX, you bear the responsibility for overseeing total employment, training, schedules, safety, and the day-to-day financial operations of the site. In your capacity as lead of safety, it is imperative to ensure that all permits and reports are current, valid, and in compliance with both federal and state regulatory agencies. You will be tasked with the management of vendors, subcontractors, maintenance, and consultants, coordinating efforts with third parties. Your managerial role extends to leading a team comprising four technicians and indirectly overseeing a Regional Administrator. Utilizing systems like Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), you will monitor daily asset performance and regulatory compliance to meet standards set by organizations such as the National Electrical Renewables Council (NERC). Your responsibilities involve utilizing various computer-based systems, ensuring the timely update and maintenance of all documentation. Collaboration with cross-functional management may be necessary to provide reports on the status, progress, and development of various projects on-site.
 

  • Able to provide technical and management support for the design and operations of the solar/storage site.
  • Must be willing to attain substation technician certification within 12 months of hire date
  • Carries out all responsibilities under environmental legislation to prevent environmental spills
  • Manages a safety program that complies with all Federal and State requirements ensuring the safe operation of the site regarding the public, employees, and equipment

What You’ll Bring  

  • High school diploma/ technical degree or equivalent education where you gain knowledge and or experience with leadership, management, communication, organizational, operational and prioritization skills
  • Must have five (5) years’ experience in a related industry where you have experience with industrial electrical equipment, power generations, thermal generations, line, and utility scale equipment
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in leadership or supervisory role of technical, operations or maintenance personnel
  • Working knowledge of wind power generating equipment and technologies and substations to identify, categorize and troubleshoot
  • Must be physically capable of entering and working in a confined space (crawl spaces, shafts, small enclosed areas) as well as work at various heights and in adverse conditions during operations, shutdowns, and in fire/emergency activities

As our Maintenance Manager, at The Ohio State University, you will be responsible for directing and managing the overall maintenance of the central utility plants (Steam, Chilled Water, Combined Heat & Power) on the campus. The Maintenance Manager ensures that all assigned facilities on campus are efficient and properly maintained and serviced. The Maintenance Manager will be involved with capital project reviews and installation from an Operations & Maintenance perspective.  This role will identify short-term and long-term maintenance needs and assist with capital project development and you will report to the Director of Energy Delivery.

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Possess high school diploma or G.E.D
  • 5 years of supervisory experience
  • You possess steam or natural gas turbine experience
  • You have experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and Microsoft Office; managing the Maximo CMMS maintenance work order, equipment history and record keeping system
  • You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with regulatory bodies (PUCO, OEPA, OSHA)  
  • You will direct maintenance personnel in the maintenance, repair and upgrade of utility plants that produce steam, chilled water, heating hot water, compressed air, treated water, and electricity
  • You will develop and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs
  • You will manage spare part inventories and record systems.
  • You know how to manage maintenance service contracts
  • You will provide analysis of equipment inspections and failures, developing repair and replacement plans on existing plant equipment
  • You have the ability to review plans and specifications for capital projects, ensure constructability and maintainability of new equipment installations, inspect construction/installation of utility system projects and new building utility infrastructure to ensure compliance with design standards
  • You know how to provide recommendations and input to department budget process and spending plans.  Prepare, review and control budget and spending for the mechanical maintenance team
  • You know how to provide input to capital plans for the utility plants; support system planning and recommend future steam, power generation, chilled water, natural gas and heating hot water improvements and repairs
  • You will be responsible for the development of direct and indirect reports including annual performance evaluations
  • You will perform other duties as assigned

  • Elaboración de TDRs, especificaciones técnicas y presupuestos para los servicios de mantenimiento y/o proyectos civiles de la central hidroeléctrica Yuncán
  • Elaborar planos de levantamientos topográficos y de diseños requeridos para los servicios de mantenimiento y otros que la jefatura solicite.
  • Revisión de las propuestas técnicas y económicas de los servicios de mantenimiento, así como el segumiento de mtto. civil de la CH Yuncán.
  • Elaboración de cronogramas, estimaciones de costos, Identificación y estimación de riesgos de los proyectos civiles.
  • Control y aseguramiento de la calidad de los entregables emitidos por los consultores de ingeniería y de los procesos constructivos en campo.

¿Qué necesitamos de ti? 

·         Indispensables: 

  • Profesional titulado y colegiado en Ing. Civil.
  • Experiencia general de 8 años y experiencia de 4 años a más en supervisión de ingeniería, proyectos, construcción, geotecnia y/o gestión de calidad QC-QA.
  • Experiencia en sector energía, minería, petróleo, gas o afines.
  • Conocimientos en la elaboración de expedientes tecnicos, metrados, presupuestos y de ejecución de obras
  • Manejo de Ms Office nivel Avanzado Manejo de Ms Project, Autocad o Civil 3D a nivel intermedio o avanzado
  • Manejo de software de diseño Civil (Hidraulica, Geotecnia, Topografia, Calculo estructural, etc.)

ENGIE North America is hiring a Solar Technician for our Solar Site located in West Union, IL.   

 

Your daily responsibilities begin with accessing tasks via SCADA, Maximo, or various SAP software systems and repairing, troubleshooting, and fulfilling technical repair work orders for solar panels. You will manage documentation, update parts inventory, and as well as submit on-site status reports, including daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, and initiate work orders for equipment repairs. 

 

  • Coordination of high voltage switching activities with local utilities and independent system operators (ISO), which includes tasks like substation operations, equipment lockouts and grounding
  • While you will primarily work independently on-site, there will always be a nearby technician for safety support; the site's team comprises of a site manager, a Balance of Plant technician, and the solar technician. You will also be a part of an on-call rotation for outages and emergencies; therefore, you must reside within 50 miles of the site
  • Adhere to safety protocols such as conducting Site-Specific Orientations, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and safety meetings


What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum High School Diploma/GED or a diploma in a technical program where you have learned AC/DC current, electrical theory, understand reading blue prints and schematics, industrial electrical equipment including breaker, disconnects, transformers, contactors
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in Solar generation sites, Wind generation sites, Thermal power plants
  • Manufacturing or Mining operations, or Controls & Industrial Maintenance
  • Must have or be willing to obtain certification by AVO as substation technician within 12 months of hire date
  • Capacity to be on call as deemed necessary by supervisor

What You Can Expect

As our Asset Operations, Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for executing field response for reactive and planned maintenance activities of select operating standalone battery assets in Lubbock, Texas area.  You will also serve as a key company representative for maintenance scheduling and coordination with internal teams as well as 3rd parties. This field-based position will work across departments to communicate updates and will require frequent travel, primarily to two facilities in North Texas.  As such, candidate must reside within  60 minutes of our Lubbock, TX area facilities.  

 

Every day you will be responsible for keeping the battery storage plants up and running, coordinate with various Original Equipment Manufactures “OEMs”, internal and external maintenance partners, provide hands-on troubleshooting of on-site technical issues, perform deviation detection and mitigation on the operating battery plants. You will communicate with internal departments, Performance Management, Asset Management, and Remote Operations teams to report any issues or needs and support issues resolutions coordinating with internal teams, OEMs and EMS providers. You will support reliability improvement plans via coordinating with in-house and third-party technical engineering staff.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum high school diploma or technical certificate
  • Minimum of three (3) years of electrical experience or comparable industrial experience such as Power Sector Industry, Military experience working with diesel generators or power systems, or Oil & Gas industry experience with maintenance/service experience of heavy machinery is beneficial in lieu of battery storage experience
  • Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy
