  • the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and additional pacts on Civil and Political Rights and on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights.
  • the conventions of the International Labour Organisation
  • the guiding principles of the OECD for multinational corporations
  • the UN Convention against corruption

 

Memberships

 

UN Global Compact

Since its launch in 2001, the Group has acceded to the UN Global Compact, which invites companies to adopt, support and apply 10 fundamental principles in terms of human rights, labor rights, the environment and human rights, and the fight against corruption, and in this context draws up its annual progress report.

Transparency International France

ENGIE is a member of the French section of Transparency International, a non-governmental organization dedicated to fighting against corruption.

Companies for Human Rights

The Group is a founding member of the association Companies for Human Rights (Entreprises pour les Droits de l’Homme, or EDH), along with other large French companies. EDH's mission is to raise awareness and encourage better handling of Human Rights issues as part of its members’ activities and to help companies implement vigilance approaches.
