ENGIE operates in compliance with laws, human rights and the highest standards of integrity. This framework guides our strategic decisions and protects all our employees, customers and partners.

Code of Ethics: zero tolerance, everywhere and for everyone

ENGIE’s Code of Ethics sets out the essential rules that every employee and entity must apply across all our activities and in all interactions with our stakeholders. It reflects our commitment to human rights, strict compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks, and the integration of environmental considerations into our operations. ENGIE’s vigilance plan: a comprehensive prevention and monitoring framework

In accordance with the French Duty of Vigilance law, ENGIE’s vigilance plan sets out all measures designed to identify, prevent and mitigate serious risks related to human rights, fundamental freedoms, health and safety, and the environment.

It is structured around four areas of vigilance – Human Rights, Environmental and societal, Health and Safety and Security, and Procurement – and is overseen by the Ethics, Compliance & Privacy Department.

This cross-functional framework includes the systematic assessment of our subsidiaries and suppliers, as well as ongoing coordination with the relevant ENGIE departments. ENGIE ensures its implementation through continuous dialogue with its stakeholders, particularly within the framework of its Global Agreement on Fundamental Rights.
