YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES as HSSE Project Engineer
Project Support (75%)
• You are the central point of contact for everything related to safety, security, and the environment within large industrial projects and modernization actions of our installations.
• You analyze risks, ensure that all safety and environmental regulations are followed, and take care of the necessary inspections and documentation.
• You work closely with project leaders and engineering teams, guide audits, plan safety measures, and organize consultation moments on-site.
• You ensure that all stakeholders – internal and external – understand and fulfill their responsibilities.
• You are involved in CE certification and the Three-Green-Lights project safety process
Organizational Changes & Improvement Initiatives (25%)
• You translate new legislation, internal policies, or audit findings into actionable plans.
• You coordinate the implementation and ensure documentation is complete and accessible.
• You help shape and implement group-wide safety initiatives and optimizations.

• You have a Prevention Advisor certificate Level 1 or 2.
• You are analytical, structured, and skilled in documentation and administration.
• You can influence and engage people, even when priorities differ – you handle resistance with confidence.
• You’re hands-on, comfortable in operational environments, and take initiative.
• You’re flexible and willing to travel regularly to project sites.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English – French is a plus
