Paris Grand Slam 2022, the first international competition to be held since the Tokyo Olympics, took place on 5 and 6 February.

Luka Mkheidze was presented with his bronze medal as his family and friends looked on in Bercy. A great achievement for the judoka who had never won a medal at this competition!
The same result for Madeleine Malonga, who managed to take bronze despite a lack of training. Not an easy return to competition for the Olympic silver medallist who had to go through repechage before getting her act together and beating the Korean Yoon to third place. A fine result for the judoka who won this Grand Slam in both 2019 and 2020.visuel Madeleine Malonga

At the velodrome in Bourges, Raphaël Beaugillet and his new pilot Quentin Caleyron were crowned French champions in the sprint omnium (sprint, 200m and 1 km) and took silver in the pursuit.
A great return to competition for the Team ENGIE para cyclist and encouraging performances from the new tandem, suggesting great promise for upcoming events.

Fantastic performances all round!
