Career path
Edouard Neviaski began his career in 1989 with Société Générale in commodities trading. In 2001, he was appointed CEO of Gaselys, the energy trading joint venture of Gaz de France and Société Générale. After six years as Global Head of Commodities Markets at Société Générale CIB, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of GDF SUEZ Trading in 2012. In 2015, he became CEO of Global Energy Management, where he ensured the development of the Group and its clients towards greener industries. In 2022, he became CEO of ENGIE’s Global Energy Management & Sales, which integrates energy management and B2B supply activities.
Additionally, in November 2022 he was appointed Vice-President of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), with a mission to support and coordinate the development of BESS within ENGIE. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the integration of batteries, a new class of flexible and complementary assets, within ENGIE’s diversified portfolio.
Since February 1st, 2025, Edouard Neviaski is Executive Vice President in charge of the GBU Supply & Energy Management.
