Thierry Saegeman graduated from the University of Ghent in 1994 with a Masters in Electromechanical Engineering, and then with an MBA from the Vlerick School in 1995. He began his career with ENGIE Electrabel in 1995, initially as a Combined Heat and Power Project Manager and then as a Project Developer on renewable energy projects.

He then moved to France to pursue his career, first with the ENGIE Group as Managing Director of ENGIE Thermal France and then as CEO of Compagnie Nationale du Rhône in charge of hydro-power plant operations, energy management and the development of wind and solar. In 2016, he returned to Belgium as Chief Nuclear Officer, before becoming in addition Country Manager of ENGIE Belgium in 2021.

Since 2024, Thierry Saegeman is Executive Vice President in charge of Transformation & Geographies, Nuclear and Tractebel.

Frank Lacroix has spent most of his career in the energy sector, where he is recognized as an experienced leader in decentralized installations and energy services.

During his 27 years with the Dalkia Group, he held various managerial positions up to the responsibilities of Managing Director of Dalkia France in 2008, then Chairman and CEO of the Dalkia Group in 2011.

There, he accompanied the international development in large decentralized energy infrastructures, building energy installations and Facility Management (FM), and in particular led the refocusing of activities around energy efficiency and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

He joined EDF in 2014 after the spin-off of Dalkia, then joined SNCF in 2016 to prepare the opening to competition of the regional passenger transport business with a transformation program based on operational excellence and digital. He then joined ELIOR in early 2021 as CEO of its FM branch.

In February 2023, Frank Lacroix joined ENGIE as Executive Vice President in charge of Energy Solutions activities. Since February 1st, 2025, Frank Lacroix is Executive Vice President in charge of GBU Local Energy Infrastructures.

Edouard Neviaski began his career in 1989 with Société Générale in commodities trading. In 2001, he was appointed CEO of Gaselys, the energy trading joint venture of Gaz de France and Société Générale. After six years as Global Head of Commodities Markets at Société Générale CIB, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of GDF SUEZ Trading in 2012. In 2015, he became CEO of Global Energy Management, where he ensured the development of the Group and its clients towards greener industries. In 2022, he became CEO of ENGIE’s Global Energy Management & Sales, which integrates energy management and B2B supply activities.

Additionally, in November 2022 he was appointed Vice-President of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), with a mission to support and coordinate the development of BESS within ENGIE. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the integration of batteries, a new class of flexible and complementary assets, within ENGIE’s diversified portfolio.

Pierre-François Riolacci possesses extensive experience as a finance and operational executive. Throughout his distinguished career, he has served in prominent international groups, making significant contributions to both the Industry and Services sectors across various countries, including France, the United Kingdom, Congo, and Denmark.

Pierre-François Riolacci began his career at ELF Aquitaine (TotalEnergies), where he dedicated 11 years to roles in controlling, corporate finance, and investor relations in France. From 2010 to 2013, he served as Chief Financial Officer at VEOLIA. He was then appointed Chief Financial Officer at Air France-KLM in 2013. He joined ISS Group in 2016 as Chief Financial Officer, where he later moved to the position of CEO of ISS Europe, a role he held until January 2022 when he joined ENGIE.

In addition to his executive roles, Pierre-François Riolacci was a member of the Supervisory Board of KLM and chaired its Audit Committee until early 2024. He also served as a Director on the Boards of Transdev and Dalkia International.

Julia Maris began her career in the French civil service working on international and European cooperation issues related to security and international development.

In 2007, she joined the French Presidency’s as rapporteur in the Commission for the White Paper on Defence and National Security. She was then appointed Marketing and Development Director at DCI.

In May 2012, she was appointed Adviser on European Affairs in the Cabinet of Jean-Yves Le Drian, and later joined Thales Alenia Space before returning to DCI in 2014 as Deputy CEO.

Sébastien Arbola began his career at BNP Paribas where he held various positions in finance from 1999 to 2006.

He joined Suez in 2006 before the merger with GDF. After holding various responsibilities within ENGIE’s Corporate finance team , Sébastien Arbola became Group M&A Director in 2011. He was appointed Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Asian environmental operations for Suez Environnement in 2013 based in Hong Kong.

Since 2016, he was head of the Middle East, South and Central Asia, Turkey and Africa region. In particular, he led the operations and growth of ENGIE in Dubai across the region, from large-scale power generation to water desalination to gas distribution and retail. In 2021, Sébastien Arbola is appointed Executive Vice President, in charge of Flex Gen & Retail. Since July 15th, 2025, Sébastien Arbola is Executive Vice President in charge of Data, Digital & IT, Strategy and Research & Innovation.

In 2018, became the Group’s Chief Operating Officer. From February 24 to December 31, 2020, Paulo Almirante was responsible for the operational management of the Group as a member of a collegial team with Claire Waysand and Judith Hartmann. In February 2021, he is appointed Senior Executive Vice President in charge of Renewable, Energy Management and Nuclear activities.

Since joining ENGIE, he has contributed to the transformation of the Group’s industrial activities to make them more flexible and profitable, while developing these activities, in particular, in Brazil and the Middle East. Since February 1st, 2025, Paulo Almirante is Senior Executive Vice President in charge of the GBU Renewable & Flex Power.
