What You Can Expect

As our FP&A Advisor, you will lead the FP&A Renewables team, focusing on financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting for ENGIE North America's expanding renewables portfolio. You will collaborate closely with the Renewables Global Business Unit (RGBU) Asset Management, Operations, Partnership, and GEMS to gain a deep understanding of profitability drivers, risks, and liquidity management. In this role, you  will ensure accurate monthly and quarterly results for Management, Partnership, and Group reporting. You will also be expected to prepare monthly and quarterly business reviews, highlighting the business's evolution through operational and project-based drivers for RGBU Management and ENGIE Group Corporate reporting. Additionally, you will compare key financial metrics to past and forecasted performance, providing early warnings and estimates of main group financial indicators. This position, based in Houston, TX, reports to the Director of FP&A.

 

 

  • Prepare annual group budget and medium-term plan
  • Develop and manage annual partnership portfolio budgets
  • Analyze partnership month operation reports for insights and trends
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Support senior management with ad hoc performance reporting and analysis
  • Direct the development, preparation, and coordination of annual budgets, re-forecasts, and medium-term business plans, collaborating with other Business divisions
  • Manage the loading of budget/MTP data into reporting systems, ensuring accuracy and identifying/implementing process improvements for efficiency and control enhancement

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree or MBA in Accounting or Finance or related field

  • A minimum of seven (7) years’ in Business Financial Analyst, Financial reporting, or Accounting, with a focus on banking
  • You are CPA certified or currently in progress towards certification
  • You are proficient in Advanced Excel, SAP, Cartesis, Smart reporting, SAC, Power BI, or Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)
  • You are deadline-driven with project management skills, essential for cross-organizational coordination and on-time delivery of results and presentations. You are hands-on and can assist management as needed, data, and decision-driven
  • You possess strong interpersonal skills, are self-motivated, and can work in a time-sensitive environment with non-flexible deadlines, potentially outside of usual US business hours
  • You have the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, and can handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
  • Must be available to travel Internationally up to 5% of the time

 

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $100,905 – $147,660 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
