What you will do:

  • You will actively participate in the Capture and Clarify business requests activities, understanding the business E2E processes.
  • You will design, implement the ERP specific requests using the ASAP technology, always recommending standard SAP solutions, automations, improvements, workflows.
  • You will be responsible for understanding and documenting low-level implementations in SAP ERP modules.
  • You will develop and maintain the centralized specific documentation repository.
  • You will monitor and manage the implemented functionalities in SAP ERP modules in order to satisfy business requirements regarding optimal exploitation of the IS system.
  • You will validate and monitor the specific SAP ERP solutions elaborated and/or implemented by external collaborators. In such cases, you will be responsible for hand over activities and will validate the final version of the deliverables.
  • You will actively collaborate within transversal projects, communicating with other IT internal experts (SAP, GIS, WEB, SCADA, IVR, GMC Inspire, etc.), internal business clients, facilitates smooth communication between internal client and external collaborators.
  • You will collaborate with team leaders and project managers to ensure effective and efficient development, delivery, deployment, operation and support of the IS solutions.
  • You will respect the agreed SLA and deadlines, internal IT procedures and INCOME methodology. 
  • You will proactively optimize the implementation of E2E business processes, respecting the company objectives and the financial efficiency.
  • You will foresee the risks, report them immediately to the direct manager and act for diminishing by implementing preventive activities.
  • You will develop and maintain the centralized specific SAP role & responsibility matrix.

 

Desired education, expertise, and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Information Technology or Business or equivalent experience, education, or training.
  • 3 years-applicable experience in SAP ERP modules.
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP PS-IM/CO module.
  • Proven tech expertise in design and implementation of complex IT solutions.
  • Communication Skills & Persuasion.
  • Ability to actively-involve in analysis, design, development, test & deployment project phases.
  • Advanced user of English language.

Context:

Power IS covers the IS landscape for all Power short term activities within Gems, ie business activities handled from 1 week before delivery to physical delivery. This encompasses the generation of optimal production plans for the physical assets under Gems responsibility, trading on short term markets to sell the energy produced, physical steering of the assets, and communication with Power grid operators (TSOs) and regulators for nomination and transparency processes.

Power IS teams (~100p between Paris and Brussels) are responsible for the maintenance and evolution of the IS systems needed by business to support these activities.

The newly created team Industrial connectivity is aligned to BP Trading power and BP Spaas for their short term activities, and focuses on Industrial connectivity to physical assets, enabling realtime steering of Power production assets.

Role:

The position reports to the head of Power IS and will cover the following activities:

  • build and maintain the technical services steering Engie’s owned assets with the biggest power production capacity (Thermal plants, Hydro plants, Offshore wind parks) – Scada technology
  • build and maintain the technical services steering the Demand Supply Management (Kiwi technology)
  • steer the connectivity strategy, in particular when it comes to dealing with external partners for assets connectivity (Emsys, Krakenflex).
  • Participate to the contracts establishment with these external partners on the IS area. In run, ensure that the service is correctly delivered by these external partners IS-wise (SLA, security, …)

The scope of these services is NWE as a primary focus (BE/FR/NL/GE), with the ambition to extend to Europe in the future (UK, IT, Spain) with local resources.

Main activities and responsibilities:

  • Management of the team (10 to 20 people, permanents and contractors), in London and in Brussels
  • Define the role and responsibilities within the team.
  • Identification of the key people build succession and backup plans.
  • Coordination and management of the relationship with business teams
  • Build a strong trust relationship with business
  • Ensure the stability of the provided services in production. Take the necessary actions to fix structural issues.
  • Budget Management and follow-up, in link with the Management Office

The role of the Digital Workplace Analyst is to provide remote and on-site assistance to IT service users, acting as the main point of contact for the notification and management of digital workplace incidents and service requests, ensuring delivery of timely and quality end-user IT services through consistent application of internal processes and clear communications.

Key Responsibilities

IT Service Delivery

  • Provide remote and desk-side support and assistance to employees (users) with regard to IT services provided by the UK IT department
  • Ensure that all calls are logged in the IT Service Management tool to ensure accurate statistics and analysis of calls

Technical Support

  • Support videoconferencing facilities & meeting room functionality across the UK estate (including tele-conferences, web meetings and room bookings)
  • Troubleshooting of basic networking issues including cabling and patching

Device Management

  • Procure and deploy laptop / desktop and mobile devices according to group standards, ensuring devices are registered appropriately within group platforms
  • Install, configure, support and troubleshoot software application and services including Windows platforms, Microsoft Office 365, Internet Browsers, Terminal Services, backup software, Active Directory and Citrix thin client and locally-installed business applications where required

Account Management

  • Process request for Starters, Leavers and Movers and associated user account management activities
  • Ensure that user accounts are deployed and configured correctly according to group standards

Administration

  • Ensure that digital workplace information and reports are kept up to date – particular stock, asset database, purchase requisitions, billing reports etc.
  • Carry out ‘ad-hoc’ tasks when requested to assist with the smooth running of the IT Department and to ensure a high level of support for users.

 

 

Key Requirements

  • Experience working within a support function providing IT technical support to customers and wider functional teams
  • Coordinating and delivering IT services through Managed Services arrangements
  • Experience of dealing with stakeholders in a customer service and / or delivery setting
  • Appropriate desktop management qualifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified Partner) is desirable

  • Higher studies completed with a Bachelor's degree (preferably in the IT field);
  • At least 3 years of experience in software testing;
  • Experience working with web services and APIs, with SQL databases;
  • Experience in automation activity;

  • Work experience in Agile/ Scrum, Jira & HP ALM (QC);

What You Can Expect

As the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer in Houston, Texas for ENGIE North America, you will establish and maintain a company-wide information technology (IT) / operational technology (OT) sustainable cybersecurity program by developing and maintaining the North America cyber vision, strategy and architecture, to include establishing, maintaining and monitoring the policies and procedures which promote the secure and uninterrupted operation of all IT and OT systems. What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field and a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in cybersecurity, IT/OT system design, integration of systems and networking in a professional setting; in lieu of a four-year degree, you should bring a total of twelve (12) years of experience in which you have gained an understanding of information technology and cybersecurity where you have been responsible for developing and maintaining strategy and architecture for cybersecurity teams

  • Demonstrated project management, organization and facilitation skills in a work setting

Compensation

Salary Range: $146,300 – $224,135 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

¿Qué tareas realizarás?     

  • Formular, planificar y gestionar proyectos de datos.
  • Diseñar soluciones analíticas avanzadas junto con los stakeholders.

Context:

The position is opened within GEMS EC IS / B2B Supply / TDO team, which is a transversal IS team in charge of managing B2B IS transversal purposes such as architecture, cross-countries and B2B BPs project or studies steering, budget management, etc and also to build or maintain common B2B IS assets. This team is embedded within GEMS EC IS, the Information System Expertise Center of GEMS.

Role:

Within GEMS EC IS B2B Supply Transformation and Design Office Team, the position consists in :

 

  • Planning and managing the scope, schedule, budget, and quality of IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations
  • Leading and mentoring a team of IT professionals, such as project managers, developers, analysts, testers, and architects, and providing them with clear guidance and direction
  • Communicating and collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, such as business owners, sponsors, vendors, and end users, and managing their expectations and feedback
  • Defining and implementing best practices, standards, and methodologies for project management, software development, testing, and delivery
