Job Purpose:

Operates the helpdesk by receiving requests, resolving and allocating accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize and operate the CAFM & Helpdesk system
  • Receive calls and determine, category, type and response.
  • Enter the details of the request on the Helpdesk system
  • Advise the caller of when to expect a first line of response
  • Allocate the request to the designated Service Provider (SP) and inform other concerned parties as appropriate
  • Be aware of multiple calls regarding the same issue and advise accordingly
  • As the system alerts to an outstanding response, contact the SP directly to ascertain why the delay and inform the caller
  • In the event of a further untimely delay, escalate to concerned parties and inform the caller
  • If required, closely monitor the progress of all jobs until closed and verify the SP has closed with sufficient information on work performed
  • Closes the loop with the end user to their satisfaction
  • Carries out telephone surveys
  • Any other customer facing activity as instructed
  • Support in CAFM and other technology related activities.
  • Logs and resolves CAFM related requests
  • Support in data management tasks and other tasks given by Management

The Building Systems Controls Technician will be in charge of testing, calibrating, operating and repair of BMS control systems along with their related software, hardware, and equipment.

These systems include energy management systems, heat pump control systems, chiller control systems, plant monitoring instruments.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems related to control and monitoring systems and perform needed repairs.

Skills Required:

  • Minimum 3 Years’ Experience with installation, Commissioning, third party integrations & Servicing of Various Brands of BMS system.

  • Proven track record of handling customers on emergency situations like breakdowns and emergency calls.
  • Proficient in creating monthly/Quarterly PPM reports, PPM schedules and ensure all the PPMs have been completed as per schedule and contract terms.

This role will sit in Houston, TX, reporting to the Customer Rentention Advisor

 

  • Handle inbound and outbound customer retention calls, emails, and chats with professionalism and empathy
  • Identify customer concerns and provide appropriate solutions to enhance satisfaction
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce customer turnover

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, or we will accept three (3) years of relevant work experience where you gained hands-on skills in customer service delivering high quality service
  • This is an entry-level position, and prior experience is not necessary. You will be expected to manage customer retention efforts, ideally within a customer service role, by communicating directly with customers to address concerns and enhance their experience with the brand. You will also manage inbound and outbound calls while communicating effectively. Exposure to customer service settings would be advantageous
  • You are knowledgeable in the Retail Electric Provider (REP) industry, with working knowledge of ERCOT and Non-ERCOT Markets (PJM, MISO, NYISO)
  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations and resolve conflicts effectively
  • You are proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions
  • You are skilled in problem-solving and analytical thinking, with the ability to navigate multiple systems for research
  • You will work independently and collaboratively with other departments to resolve customer issues promptly, while meeting retention targets and KPIs
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to type at least 40 WPM

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy consisting of a minimum three (3) days in the office at the Houston, TX office
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $61,400 – $94,070 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

 

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors. 

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.

Your mission

  

As EHS Administrator, you will provide essential administrative and operational support to the Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) team working on the construction of a hyperscale data center in Belgium. Your role will be key in ensuring the implementation of a safe and compliant work environment. Through your coordination, site presence, and accurate reporting, you will help foster a culture of safety across the entire project lifecycle.

 

Your key responsibilities   
 

  • Deliver EHS induction training to new personnel on site.
  • Conduct and report daily “Boots on the Ground” (BOTG) observations using the client reporting platform, aiming for 5 per day.
  • Ensure consistent follow-up on reported issues and contribute to proactive safety measures by identifying trends.
  • Gradually transfer existing observation data into the current reporting system.
  • Organize and participate in weekly EHS meetings and site walks (EPCM meetings and Toolbox Talks).
  • Track and follow up on action points from EHS meetings.
  • Assist in preparing materials and actively contribute to client and leadership meetings with an EHS focus.
  • Participate in monthly EHS leadership meetings and European EHS Council reviews.
  • Support the preparation of monthly EHS reports to the client.
  • Work closely with the EHS Manager on procedures, documentation, and reporting needs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including EPCM, contractors, and clients, to ensure smooth communication and project alignment.
  • Contribute to an organized, well-documented, and responsive EHS operation on site.

Your qualifications

 

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within EHS or the construction sector.
  • EHS Level 1 certification required.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to follow and support EHS procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Fluency in French and English is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms).
  • Experience in global or multicultural business environments is a plus.
  • Able to work independently while supporting a team.
