What You Can Expect

As the Manager of Transaction and Contract Management, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing a team of analysts. Your primary focus will be to ensure the accuracy and compliance of commercial contracts while managing the end-to-end process of enrolling new accounts into the utility market and maintaining their ongoing status. This includes supervising the validation of contract details to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and internal operational standards. You will also play a key role in monitoring account activities, facilitating smooth transitions during enrollment, and resolving any issues related to account maintenance within the competitive utility market. Success in this role requires strong leadership, keen attention to detail, and a deep understanding of industry regulations and market dynamics. This position is based in Houston, TX and reports directly to the Transaction Manager.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
  • You have a minimum of seven (7) years of leadership and professional business experience, including at least five (5) years in the Retail Energy industry and three (3) years in utility transaction management
  • You have strong working knowledge of ERCOT, PJM, NYISO, MISO, and ISO-NE transaction and settlement protocols
  • You are knowledgeable in leading successful transformation programs in complex businesses and adapting organizational structures
  • You are proficient in problem-solving, critical thinking, and quickly learning ENGIE’s operational processes, utility protocols, and market transaction rules

Compensation

Salary Range: $131,000 – $183,330 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

What You Can Expect

As our Senior Business Development Manager for Indirect Sales, your primary objective will be to manage third-party sales (indirect partner relationships) for ENGIE North America Inc.'s retail products to Commercial and Industrial (C&I) customers. Planificación

Mission

Reporting directly to the Project Manager, will be involved in the following activities:

  • Implementation of the assigned project based on the elaborated Construction Plan.

  • Verification of all H&S Quality and environment aspects related to the execution of the works.
  • Processing of the Construction Site Journal on a daily basics.

Functions

  • You will be responsible for the professional construction of the PV farm/s following quality, time, and budget guidelines, encouraging the Contractors to deliver the project safely and promoting a culture that prioritizes and ensures that H&S is an integral part of all work performed.
  • You will be responsible for technical supervision, site organization and operational control, safety, and reporting. As a technical manager, you are the interface between Engineering and Construction.
  • You will be on-site during construction being the first point of contact for contractors and third parties.
  • You control the progress reports, composing daily, weekly, and monthly ones, and the executed works so that they also conform to the plans and agreements made.
  • You will take action to deal and mitigate with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at the construction site.
  • You perform tests to ensure conformity between the quality of work and specifications.
  • You also lead and actively participate in regular work meetings and other stakeholder consultation moments.
  • You will oversee the process all the way to commissioning and CoD, with the finality of handover to our Asset Management and O&M teams, ensuring project documentation requirements are met for the handover of projects upon completion.

  • MSc Civil, Electrical or Mechanical or similar
  • Project Management PMP ®, Project controls, Contract Management, Scheduling, cost controls, negotiation, and budgeting.

  • Understanding of regulatory requirements for constructing and operating renewable assets in Spain.

Actualmente para nuestra sede en Madrid buscamos un/a Técnico/a de PRL que de soporte en las actividades realizadas en materia de H&S en la zona peninsular.

 

Su misión principal será colaborar en la correcta aplicación de la normativa de PRL y políticas de la empresa asociadas a la misma en las obras, industria y proyectos en los que desempeñe su actividad, así como asegurar la correcta gestión documental y el cumplimiento de los requerimientos legales.

 

Funciones:

  • Realización de las evaluaciones de riesgos, planificación y seguimiento derivado de la evaluación de los diferentes centros de trabajo.
  • Realización de Auditorías Internas de Sistema de Gestión de Seguridad y Salud.
  • Seguimiento del estado de la reglamentación en materia laboral aplicable a la empresa
  • Gestión de los planes de auto-protección de los diferentes centros de trabajo asignados.
  • Elaborar documentación, procedimientos y prácticas seguras en materia de Prevención.
  • Colaborar con la búsqueda, elaboración e impartición de las acciones formativas
  • Liderar los proyectos de mejora continua que les sean asignados.
  • Implantación del servicio de Prevención de Riesgos en la compañía.
  • Desarrollar e implantar herramientas de gestión de prevención.
  • Analizar e investigar lo accidentes / incidentes en la compañía (personal propio, subcontratado, ETT).
  • Obtener y gestionar los datos sobre la siniestralidad laboral en la compañía, con realización de informes mensuales, trimestrales y anuales, así como la presentación de los mismos a diversos departamentos de la empresa.
  • Elaborar estrategias a partir de los datos de siniestralidad recogidos.
  • Elaborar e impartir programas formativos de prevención de riesgos y primeros auxilios.
  • Realizar visitas regulares y puntuales con su correspondiente emisión de un informe para la evaluación de riesgos de los centros, o situaciones de riesgo puntuales
  • Participar como representante de la empresa en los diversos comités de seguridad y salud existentes.

 

Requisitos mínimos

  • Estar en posesión de formación de Técnico Superior en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales.
  • Nivel alto de inglés (B2)
  • Experiencia mínima de 3 años en un puesto similar.

Actualmente para nuestra sede en Madrid, buscamos un Business Development Manager, cuya misión, dentro del departamento de Hibridación y Repotenciación, es la de coordinar el desarrollo de los proyectos de crecimiento orgánico, basados en la estrategia de optimización de puntos de acceso existentes (hibridación y repotenciación).

 

Funciones principales

 

  • Coordinar la originación del pipeline de proyectos de hibridación y repotenciación:
  • Identificación de potenciales oportunidades de hibridación dentro del pipeline de Engie, tanto operativo como en fase de desarrollo.
  • Seguimiento de la planificación de repotenciación de los activos operativos.
  • Identificación de superficies técnica y ambientalmente viables para el desarrollo de dichos proyectos.
  • Identificación de propietarios y negociación contractual de los contratos de arrendamiento de terrenos.
  • Preparación de la documentación técnica y administrativa para la presentación y solicitud de capacidades de acceso ante Red Eléctrica o las Compañías Distribuidoras.
  • Revisión de proyectos técnicos, ambientales y documentación técnica a presentar ante la Administración para la tramitación y obtención de permisos.
  • Seguimiento del avance de los trámites y de los permisos ante la Administración, con contacto puntual con la administración.
  • Preparación de documentación técnica y administrativa para la presentación y solicitud de los permisos ante la Administración.
  • Evaluación de la viabilidad técnica, ambiental, urbanística y económica de nuevas oportunidades para el emplazamiento de proyectos de energías renovables (fotovoltaica y eólica).
  • Control de gastos y subcontratas.
  • Generación de documentación y presentación en los diferentes comités internos, de las oportunidades de negocio.
  • Participación / coordinación en fases de due diligence asociada a procesos de M&A, desarrollo y financiación de proyectos.

 

Requisitos

 

Estudios universitarios superiores en ingeniería, arquitectura, cartografía, topografía, ciencias ambientales o similar.

Inglés nivel C1

 

Formación complementaria

 

  • Se valora muy positivamente disponer de estudios específicos o especialización en categorías energética, ambiental, urbanística y/o eléctrica.

 

Experiencia Profesional

 

  • Imprescindible experiencia previa en el desarrollo, originación y tramitación de proyectos de energías renovables en España. De 4 – 6 años de experiencia.

 

Conocimientos específicos

 

  • Se valora muy positivamente conocimientos relacionados con la regulación y normativa nacional de la industria de energía renovable, desarrollo de negocio greenfield, regulación en materia de permisos y negociación/desarrollo de contratos en energías renovables.
  • Se valora muy positivamente disponer de un elevado nivel de desempeño con el paquete Office, especialmente Excel, Word y Power Point.
  • Se valora positivamente conocimientos de softwares específicos de energía renovable: PVSyst, WAsP o similar.
  • Se valora positivamente conocimientos de softwares específicos de planificación territorial y/o diseño: Autocad, ARC GIS o similar.
