What You Can Expect

As our Senior Marketing Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting and managing the market entry process, conducting sales performance analysis and reporting, and using insights to support new product development and enhance reporting and performance measurement systems. This role is part of our fast-growing and strategic initiatives in power, natural gas, and renewable energy. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Product Development, and other functional teams to prepare for the launch of new products and to track and analyze sales performance. In this role, you will leverage strong data analytics skills to develop and maintain robust performance reporting for Sales and Marketing. In addition, you will monitor and evaluate key customer and market trends to identify new business opportunities and evolving customer needs, using these insights to help shape new product offerings.

 

The Senior Marketing Analyst will work closely with retail product and commodity teams and will consolidate reporting efforts into comprehensive scorecards for ENGIE Resources. This role will also provide recommendations on margin strategies, assess market attractiveness, and communicate actionable insights through data to drive improved performance. This position is based in Houston, TX, and reports to the Director of Customer Engagement Analytics.

 

  • Support the development and launch of new products to market, including sales training, internal process development and user testing of necessary system enhancements. Support the development and maintenance of the Customer Lifetime Value model for commercial & industrial customers, tracking customer engagements, cost of acquisition, cost of service, retention & attrition, and complete the Marketing ROI
  • Derive insights into sales performance, positioning and margin through the analysis of market data, historic sales metrics, sales pipeline, market targets, customer segmentation and product offerings in order to enhance the profitability of the business
  • Develop analytical framework, tools, techniques, and capabilities to segment, target, and profile market opportunity, revenue potential, and pricing strategies
  • Assist in the development of primary and secondary market research in support of strategic planning and specific marketing initiatives, as required

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You hold a Bachelor's Degree in a Business, Marketing or related field
  • A minimum of five (5) years working experience in sales and or marketing, experience in B2B environment or retail energy experience
  • You are experienced in data analysis, market research, market business planning, project, program management or forecasting
  • You are highly analytical with proven experience developing complex queries across multiple data sources and presenting insights clearly to stakeholders
  • You have strong problem-solving skills, strategic thinking abilities, and proficiency in SQL programming, project management, and database design
  • You are knowledgeable in technical system documentation and can effectively collaborate with IT system teams to support data needs
  • You are proficient in CRM software, MS PowerBI (or similar analytics platforms), and have hands-on experience building performance dashboards
  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to think critically, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in project teams

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy, three (3) days in the Houston, TX office

Compensation

Salary Range: $86,100 – $132,020 USD annually

What You Can Expect
As the Field Technical Trainer Advisor, you will develop and conduct technical training programs for Wind, Solar, and Battery Energy Storage technicians. This position will not only educate and standardize training materials but participate in the quality control programs and ensure all technicians are evaluated and scored based on their technical abilities. Reporting to the VP of Field Services, this position is located at the Five Wells Solar site in Rogers, TX, however, the trainer will travel to various sites as a subject matter expert and will provide training at offices in both Houston, TX and Denver, CO.

In this role your key responsibilities everyday will be:

  • Develop, conduct, monitor, test and score technical training programs for all internal wind, solar, and battery energy storage technicians based on their technical abilities
  • Establish relationships with internal customers to develop course materials and measure feedback
  • Coordinate training schedule with Regional Operations Directors to meet the training demands of the company
  • Select and/or develop teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials and reference works
  • Conduct training sessions covering various specified areas including on-the-job training, refresher training
  • Test trainees to measure progress and to evaluate the effectiveness of training
  • Travel and perform on-the-job training on various platforms of Mega Watt (MW) class wind turbines and MW class invertors
  • Develop reporting on the progress of employees under guidance during training periods
  • Report to senior management on training performance and provide recommendations on process improvements in work environments and training procedures
  • Own all aspects of classroom instruction including preparation, consumables re-order, inspections and logging of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and devices


What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum two (2) years diploma in a technical program where you have learned practical training skills, making it ideal for developing and delivering training programs, renewable energy, or industrial electrical equipment including breaker, disconnects, transformers, contactors
  • Minimum seven (7) years of progressive experience in the renewable energy (wind/solar) industry or a combination of degree, education, industry experience or military service will be considered
  • Must have experience teaching, setting and developing wind turbine and / or solar technician-related curricula and maintaining training materials on prudent industry best practices for the solar and / or wind industry
  • Experience training theory in the areas of electrical safety, qualified electrical work, convertor/invertor, hydraulic and mechanical
  • Ability to engage with all students in the classroom, understanding the core elements of adult learners
  • Capable to be flexible and meet the changing needs of a dynamic, growing company
  • Capable of directing and defining new training programs based on the needs of the company and industry

Compensation

What You Can Expect

As a VP Finance Business Control, you will administer the finance function of ENGIE Energy Marketing North America, Inc (“EEMNA”).  The primary functions of this role include forecasting and reporting on the financial results of EEMNA activities in the US, and implementing controls to ensure the accuracy and transparency of those financial results.  In addition to financial controller duties, you will participate in strategic financial planning, liquidity management, and leadership in new initiatives.   • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of periodic financial reports to local management, Supply and Energy Management (SEM) financial function, and limited external users.  Reporting also includes gathering of KPI’s and KRI’s to provide operational context to financial statement users.  Coordinate with technical accounting and ENGIE group expertise centers to make sure EEMNA activities are presented in accordance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards)
  • Financial Strategy and Planning:  Oversee the preparation and presentation of annual budgets and forecast updates.  Participate in and develop financial assumptions for long-term strategic planning, including the impacts of acquisitions and divestitures.  Develop reporting metrics for local management to quantify the risk and return of specific business activities 
  • Internal Controls:  Design, confirm implementation and coordinate testing of internal controls, both financial and operational, for all entities under EEMNA scope
  • Audit Support:  Coordinate all EEMNA audits, both external and internal ensuring timely delivery of audit requests and validation of audit findings
  • Support Function Coordination:  Coordinate with GBS (Global Business Support) and Hub support functions to insure adequate delivery of service.  Insure these functions are informed timely on changes to EEMNA’s operations and transaction requiring shared service support. 
  • Financial Management:  Develop cash flow forecasting and work with North American treasury team to maintain adequate capitalization and predictable utilization of the cash pool.  Manage postings to utilities and state authorities to support retail sales activity
  • Participate in special projects, merger, acquisition and divestiture activities, and the structuring of large transactions on an as-needed basis

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in which you completed courses in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines
  • A minimum of 10 years finance experience and 8 years working in energy commodity markets
  • Understanding of power and gas markets and associated products used to trade both traditional and green power in deregulated US markets

As our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Specialist Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience supporting financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting for ENGIE North America's expanding portfolio.   • Participation in the development of annual budgets, re-forecasts, and medium-term business plans (MTP), collaborating with other Business divisions ensuring consistency with ENGIE and partners guidelines
  • Under the supervision of the FP&A Director or Advisor, prepare supporting materials for and actively participate in partnership Board meetings

The Asset Management Analyst II will support the Senior Asset Management Advisor in the management of several assets, across different Independent System Operators (ISOs) and technologies. This role requires to be able to understand operating contracts (Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Long Term Service Agreements (LTSAs), Landowner Agreements, etc), to be a proactive problem solver with good analytical and organizational skills, with a special focus on process improvement, efficiencies in Asset Management, technical understanding of Wind, Solar, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and Optimize P&L: Understand main drivers (operational, commercial, market) of project P&L, propose and implement action plans for optimization, and develop gross margin assumptions for annual business plans
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: Analyze operational and financial performance data from wind, solar, and battery storage assets, identify trends and optimization opportunities, and prepare regular reports on asset performance and financial metrics
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with Operations, Engineering, and other teams to track KPIs, ensure compliance with performance benchmarks, and support asset optimization through interaction with ENGIE Trading/Energy Management
  • Contract and Relationship Management: Manage contracts (Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Long Term Service Agreements (LTSAs), Asset Management Agreements (AMAs), Operations and Maintenance Agreements (OMAs), Landowner Agreements), support negotiations, invoicing, and payments, and ensure assets operate within compliance requirements
  • Process Improvement and Cross-Functional Support: Focus on process improvement and efficiencies in Asset Management, support other Asset Managers, and collaborate with various teams (Operations, Finance, Legal, Trading, Origination) to align on asset performance and goals

As an integral part of this team, the Asset Management Advisor manages a set of assets holistically. Asset Management includes the management of commercial strategies including the coordination of implementation of those strategies, development, and coordination of asset optimization projects, tracking of profitability of the asset, contract understanding, landowner relationships, and general overall operational purview.  The Asset Management Advisor will have multiple assets under management potentially in different ISOs and different technologies (onshore Wind, Solar, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) assets).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the Profit & Loss (P&L) for assets under management: Analyze P&L statements to identify key performance drivers and develop action plans to implement to optimize financial outcomes. Build and maintain gross margin assumptions for each asset to support annual business planning, business interruption insurance, and internal forecasting. Oversee and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with the company’s financial objectives. Collaborate with ENGIE Trading / Energy Management teams to define and provide a risk mandate for daily market bidding activities. Optimize financial performance of assets through strategic oversight and data-driven decision-making. Identify and pursue commercial opportunities to enhance value creation and overall asset profitability
  • Contract Management: Oversee all contract negotiations, invoicing, and payments, including managing (Power Purchase Agreements (PPA’s), relationship management, Asset Management Agreements (AMAs) and Operations & Maintenance Agreements (OMAs), Equipment purchase and Long-Term Service Agreements (LTSA’s), and Landowner payment management
  • Operations & Maintenance Planning: Monitor asset KPIs to drive operational improvements and align maintenance schedules with operational and commercial goals
  • ISO & Regulatory Coordination: Responsible for leading on ISO protocols, regulation, and market fundamentals, and engaging subject matter experts as required
