What You Can Expect

As our Power Congestion Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in grid modeling, analysis, and visualization of renewable generators to support power price forecasting. You will research data using relevant databases and statistical tools, build dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and SQL queries on large datasets, and develop and maintain Excel tools utilizing VBA, macros, and advanced formulas. Additionally, you will create and manage ad-hoc tools using Python to analyze large datasets, contributing to data-driven insights and decision-making.

 

  • Gain exposure to analyzing congestion market outcomes by assessing macro-fundamentals (supply, demand, renewables) and micro-fundamentals (transmission and generation outages, bids, facility limits)
  • Develop an understanding of grid modeling by identifying model gaps and recommending solutions
  • Learn to assess commercial impacts by participating in ISO meetings and market evaluations
  • Strengthen analytical skills by interpreting market data and congestion drivers
  • Collaborate with IT teams to maintain and improve trade tools for market analysis
  • Enhance problem-solving abilities through hands-on experience with power market dynamics
  • Gain practical knowledge of transmission constraints and their influence on market outcomes

 

This internship position will sit in Santa Barbara, CA and is expected work  from May 27th 2025 – August 8th 2025, full-time work schedule working up to 40 hours per week.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • You are currently pursuing or hold a Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, STEM, or a related field

  • You have exposure to wholesale electricity markets and an understanding of market dynamics
  • You have knowledge of statistical techniques and data analysis methods
  • You are proficient in Tableau, Python/R, and data management, including data wrangling, cleansing, and querying
  • You have strong analytical skills and the ability to handle multiple assignments with accuracy and efficiency
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and effective collaboration
  • You will gain experience in applying analytical tools to support power price forecasting and market analysis

 

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy, working three (3) days in office and two (2) days remote.

Compensation

Hourly Range:  $21.00- $34.00 USD hourly

VOTRE MISSION comme Responsable de la gestion documentaire et données SAP (H/F/X) :

  • Vous travaillez en étroite collaboration avec les départements d’Exploitation et de Maintenance.
  • Vous assurez la gestion des datas PM et MM de la centrale en SAP (encodage postes techniques, équipements, stocks, …) .
  • Vous gérez, en collaboration avec la Maintenance et le responsable des contrôles légaux, les plans de maintenance de la centrale, garants de l’entretien préventif des installations.
  • Vous vous chargez de la gestion documentaire. Vous intervenez activement dans le processus de gestion des plans, de la documentation et des dossiers techniques et validez les liens de ces documents avec les divers objets SAP.
  • Vous êtes un interlocuteur STAR PM,MM et DMS et aidez les techniciens dans le cadre de l’utilisation de SAP.
  • Vous adaptez l’arborescence SAP PM en fonction des modifications des installations et vous y intégrez la nouvelle documentation ou les documents révisés.
  • Vous réalisez, créez et modifiez des plans techniques (électrique et mécanique en Autocad).
  • Vous êtes activement impliqué dans le suivi des KPI, data, propositions de données etc.

 

 

VOTRE PROFIL comme Responsable de la gestion documentaire et données SAP (H/F/X) :

  •  Vous disposez d’un diplôme technique ou d’une expérience préalable en gestion des données (3-4ans)
  • Vous avez une excellente maîtrise Autocad, MS Access et  SAP (modules PM, MM et DMS en particulier; La connaissance du système PS et FICO sont un atout.

What You Can Expect

As the Health and Safety Intern, you will provide support to the Site Safety Specialist on the campus of University of Iowa. The company is responsible for the infrastructure that supplies the university and hospital with steam, power, water and chilled water. Additionally, will assist in all aspects of the ENGIE Health & Safety Program, including incident investigation, monthly indicator reporting, review and disposition of safety Good Catch reports, hazard identification, leadership safety walks, employee training, and capital improvement project risk assessment and consultation.

  • Demonstrate proper use of personal protective equipment, seize opportunities to learn by participating in or shadowing activities, and facilitate at least one safety improvement project aimed at closing the risk gap or cultivating a positive safety culture
  • Implement action items from leadership safety walks and work independently when possible, to contribute to ongoing safety enhancements

 

What You'll Bring                 

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, occupational & environmental health, or a related field
  • A proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project

 

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • Interns must be enrolled students in good standing at the commencement of the intern semester
  • Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies 

 

Compensation

Hourly Range: $21.00 – $27.00 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

What You Can Expect

As a Project Management Intern, you will support the PM team in delivering utility projects that are constructed according to specifications, perform as designed, and meet established budget and schedule requirements. Working closely alongside experienced Project Managers, you will gain exposure to various responsibilities, including collaborating with engineering partners to understand system designs, procuring materials and labor aligned with validated drawings, and enforcing strict health and safety standards. Throughout the project lifecycle—from initiation to operational handover to our Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team—you will assist the PM, who serves as the primary point of contact and information resource for clients.

  • Maintains project schedules, provides regular progress updates—including schedule, budget, and cost reporting—to internal stakeholders, clients, and external parties as required
  • Collaborates with engineering, operations, and procurement teams (both internal and external) to define project objectives, produce deliverables such as construction drawings, and manage supplier contracts

 

What You'll Bring

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
  • A proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
