Job Purpose:

The Data Center Facilities HVAC Technician is responsible for ensuring that all Mechanical, Plumbing, HVAC equipment within the data center is operating at peak efficiency. This involves both planned preventative maintenance of equipment, daily corrective work, and emergency response to emergent issues. The Technician serves as an expert technical resource reporting and interacting with onsite Engineers and any third-party vendors. Data center equipment that supports mission-critical servers must maintain better than 99.999% uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks and Daily visual inspections on major data center equipment.
  • Daily checking healthiness of all facilities equipment’s and keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
  • Repair and maintenance work on a wide range of HVAC (DDC, BMS, Control system), Plumbing & ELV equipment.
  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility Mechanical systems.
  • Maintain, operate all Mechanical/HVAC related systems and associated equipment, Mechanical equipment, building management system.
  • Perform facility inspections and report on condition affecting operations
  • Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
  • Create the Job cards in CAFM (FSI) Mobile App as per Site requirements and close the Job cards which Engineer assigns.
  • Responding promptly and efficiently to emergencies calls.
  • Prepare and submit summary reports of conditions in buildings and recommend actions to be taken.
  • Review and understand equipment and methods of operation, Mechanical systems, ELV system, HVAC system, and other trade related systems.
  • Comply with all safety procedures and requirements
  • Maintain essential stock of spare parts.
  • Support any afterhours building needs and activities as required
  • Attend training sessions and seminars.
  • Other assigned tasks as requested.

Skills Required:

 

  • Good knowledge of Mechanical systems (Generators, Chillers, Pumps, Motors, Bearings)
  • Good knowledge of cooling systems (HVAC, Chillers, VRV, FAHU, IRU, FWU)
  • Good Knowledge of ELV Systems (DDC, BMS, Control system)
  • Working knowledge of Mechanical systems and associated tools and equipment’s.
  • Skill in installation, repair, and maintenance of all types of Mechanical system equipment’s and components.

  • Basic English knowledge is required
  • Basic Working Knowledge of PC systems, and CAFM Mobile Apps

  • Data Center Certifications will be an added advantage.

What You Can Expect

As the Senior Project Manager, you will work closely with the Development team from a execution perspective in order to prepare a project for handoff to a construction project manager. You will also work with our internal staff to understand the technical aspects of the system design and be responsible for managing utility infrastructure projects associated with expanding and maintaining the utility system on the campus. Additionally, you will also be responsible for mentoring and advising junior team members.   • Tracks and analyzes progress on project-level spend in relation to approved budget baselines
  • Cites any budget-relates issues and processes change to ensure budget baselines are accurate prior to, and throughout installation

  • Ensures that all installations meet plans and specifications, permitting and interconnection requirements, and client expectation

 

What You'll Bring

Compensation

Salary Range: $99,000 – $151,800 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

ROLE SUMMARY:

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

  • Responsible for building, coaching, mentoring and driving a high-performing Sales team that is accountable for attaining individual sales quotas, creating a culture focused on sales execution and accountability.
  • In-depth understanding of ENGIE Impact and ENGIE Group capabilities and portfolio of offerings, with the ability to effectively convey the value of ENGIE Impact’s products and services, explaining their purpose and performance and how they interconnect for maximum value.
  • Must understand and embody the key functions of Sales leader execution - including but not limited to attracting/hiring/and retaining top talent, coaching, leveraging appropriate tools and technology, and performance management.
  • As owner of key ENGIE Impact commercial region leader will set the strategy and execution path for revenue development by leveraging sales leader territory plan executive engagement, and internal ecosystem collaboration with Product, Legal, Marketing, and other cross functional leaders.
  • Develop comprehensive 12-month sales plans with detailed 30, 60, and 90-day sales activities, objectives for department as well as ensuring each team member creates their own plan in order to reach annual sales goals.
  • Responsible for reporting Monthly sales pipeline activities and forecasts, developing mitigation plans when goals are not attained, and implementing performance management plans as necessary for assigned team members.
  • Forecast and track key metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts, Weekly operating rhythm KPI’s (meetings/proposals/Pipeline additions) and performance managing team members who are not meeting sales quotas and/or forecasts.
  • Will participate in the annual review, updating and publishing of commission / variable pay mix for Client Acquisition Managers.  Will coordinate and work with business partners, including but not limited to, Head of Commercial Growth, Compensation and Human Resources in the development and execution, ensuring the plans incent appropriate behavior and drive attainment of ENGIE Impact’s strategic goals and initiatives
  • Adoption and development of best practices for Account penetration and development as a trusted advisor for client stakeholders, with focus to continually nurture relationships with the client’s C-Suite, decision makers and owners, and other business influencers.
  • Plays a pivotal role in contract negotiation and development, aligning ENGIE Impact revenue goals with appropriate pricing and service level agreements.

What You Can Expect

As a Water Treatment Technician, you'll maintain the University of Iowa's drinking water treatment plant and support the High-Quality Water Group, which oversees various facilities including the Oakdale Water Plant, MacBride Nature Recreation Area Public Water System, and campus pools and spas. ​​Our Contracts Analyst II, located at The Ohio State University Campus, will collaborate closely with our Capital Projects team on campus and provide active support to team members located at Georgetown University, University of Iowa, and our Corporate Office in Houston, TX. You'll engage with various groups and divisions within ENGIE, vendors, subcontractors, and the University on a daily basis, recognizing that robust partnerships are essential for our success on campus. 

Your daily responsibilities will involve assisting project managers and contract advisors in the contracting and procurement process for all capital improvement projects on Campus. This includes supporting the development and tracking of Request for Proposal (RFP) packages, ensuring alignment with project schedules and stakeholder requirements. You'll take the lead in the contract bidding process for low-risk contracts, acting as the single point of contact for bidders, organizing site visits, and issuing RFP addenda as needed. Ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate governance requirements in our contracts will be a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you'll play a pivotal role in negotiating with selected bidders, employing a documented process and sound judgment to resolve scope, terms, and other discrepancies. 

You'll also contribute to the procurement process by creating vendor-related agreements for services and materials, and participate in the development and tracking of legal documents such as contractual submittals, notices, and change orders as necessary. Furthermore, you'll review supplier/contract project invoicing for compliance with contracts, support project close-out documentation requirements using provisional acceptance and final acceptance contract documentation, and track, evaluate, and qualify new and existing contractor relationships. Providing support on contractual claims and disputes will also be part of your responsibilities.​

 

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor of Science in Applied Business, or Bachelor of Business Administration, Supply Chain or other similar degree 

  • ​Two (2) or more years of experience in a related field where you have developed a background in contract development / contract administration or project related execution
