The Role

You’ll enhance the reliability and technical availability of South Australian assets by delivering affordable engineering, asset management, and maintenance services, all while promoting safety and operational excellence. You’ll collaborate with teams at the Pelican Point Power Station and Synergen Gas Turbine facilities throughout South Australia.

 

About you

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering and/or extensive experience in power industry engineering and maintenance practices including gas turbine and steam turbine plant
  • In-depth expertise in managing hot gas path components of gas turbines, along with a solid grasp of power plant engineering principles and operations
  • Proven experience in procurement and contract management, including drafting specifications, tender processes, negotiations, and contractor oversight
  • Strong understanding of plant capabilities and component life integrity, as well as performance monitoring and control of thermal performance parameters
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills to coordinate efforts and inspire teams and ability to travel on occassion within South Australia
  • Extensive project management experience, with a focus on mechanical and electrical asset management and excellent communication skills to convey technical information to diverse stakeholders
  • Familiar with electricity industry regulations and capable of conducting audits and writing clear recommendation reports as well as knowledgeable about the Work Health and Safety Act and Regulations
  • Strong risk assessment, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and provide guidance. Expert in planning and organizing to effectively manage tasks and priorities
  • Construction Industry Induction ‘White Card’ or willingness to obtain a white card

Context:

 

 

Within GEMS, The Marketing Pricing and Offering (MPO) team manages the full supply offering process and the supply risks associated for the contracts sold by the Business Plateform CLIENTS. As one of GEMS’s front divisions, BP Clients’s mission is to manage energy sales contracts and services for large industrial accounts in Europe: the Giants. One of its ambitions is to be considered by its clients as the best service provider in market management activities and energy transition services.  This portfolio represents approximately 75 TWh of natural gas and 30 TWh of power delivered each year in France, Belgium, NL & Germany equivalent to a turnover of 4.5 billion euros in 2024In addition to commodity the department manage Certificates of various nature (CEE, CRM, Green certificate…) and Guaranty of Origin.

 

The department is divided into 2 teams

  • Structuration that is in charge of preparing the commodity supply offers (electricity, natural gas), for  account managers
  • Hedging and Position Management that develops pricing methodologies and hedging strategies, represents and monitor the risks and perform short-term forecasting.

 

 

 

 

 

Role:

 

As an Energy Manager within the Trading Room, in direct contact with originators, finance and back office teams, you will be responsible for

  • Monitoring the physical and financial positions from signature to end of delivery
  • Monitoring the short-term forecast accuracy and imbalance cost
  • Adapting permanently the pricing methodology to the change in context
  • Defining the hedging strategy (swap, option, weather derivative,Quanto …)
  • Supporting Structuration team during the offering process
  • Contributing to digitalization of front to finance operations
  • To continuously measure the performance of these management actions with the support of the finance team
  • To follow up and manage the various commodities currently in our portfolio (Power, Gas, Certificates (GC, GoO CVO, CRM, biomethane).

 

 

Hard skills:

 

  • A good capacity for analysis and modeling, to develop and/or coordinate studies allowing the development of specific offers within the framework of the defined risk mandate
  • Good knowledge of the structure of gas and electricity market, particularly in the segment of large industrial customers.
  • Ability to manage and expose a large amount of data (VBA, Excel, Python, Power BI)
  • Strong Knowledge in data science and machine learning
  • Knowledge on financial products
  • Understanding of trading and risk management business

Context:

The APAC Power desk in S&EM plays a critical role in leading power trading activities in Asia. Our existing power markets cover a wide range of countries, including Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Japan, while working closely with asset business units within the group in developing power market, such as India, Philippine, Malaysia and Vietnam. 

Role:

As a Japan Power Trader, you will report to the Head of BP APAC Power and Gas. The role is a permanent post to be based in Singapore. You will working together with Head of Japan and APAC Power desk, contribute trading strategies to Japan book. Alongside of trading, the role requires collaboration with Engie’s global analytics team, commercial functions and support function desk.

 

Hard skills:

·          Having prior market analytics experiences, in particular, Japan power markets.

·          Initiating and supporting Japan Power flat price and option trading activities from scratch, including setting up strategies, market updates, and structure products trading assessment and support to long term origination desk.

·          Being accountable for book PnL, of which the agreed risk framework, including VaR, drawdown and delta limits will be given accordingly. 

·          Leading and Exploring the development on new trading products in Japan Power

·          Holding expertise center for Japan Power market product front.

Votre mission   

Rattaché au département Operational Performance de l’entité Tractebel Nucléaire, vous serez en charge principalement d’accompagner les différents départements Projets et Métiers.

 

Vos principales responsabilités   

  • Gestion quotidienne du Système de Management Intégré.
  • Sensibilisation des équipes aux processus du Système de Management Intégré (mise en place, formation, suivi et animation continue).
  • Accompagnement du déploiement des processus sur les projets et les activités des différents métiers.
  • Gestion des non-conformités, réclamations et satisfaction client.
  • Animation de l’amélioration continue.
  • Accompagnement et exécution des audits internes et externes (certification, clients, fournisseurs).

Compétences principales

Votre mission   

Le Contract Manager sera intégré au service « performance opérationnelle » et sollicité suivant les besoins de plusieurs projets sur une base spécifique, ou sera dédié/intégré à un nombre plus limité d’affaires / projets. Le candidat devra donc faire preuve de flexibilité et capable de s’adapter facilement à un ou plusieurs changements de mobilisation suivant les besoins. 

 

Vos principales responsabilités   

Ci-dessous une liste non-exhaustive de tâches qu’il pourrait avoir à réaliser en fonction des phases de contractualisation des marchés :

 

Marché :

  • revue des documents contractuels de type CPA/CGA, prix, échéancier de facturation, spécifications de management/gestion documentaire et planning (selon profil) ;
  • identification et explication des risques ;
  • participation à la rédaction des offres et clauses-à-clauses ;
  • participation aux échanges/négociations, etc.

Groupements :

  • revue des conventions de groupement (répartition des missions/tâches, cohérence avec le Marché concerné, etc.) ;
  • identification et explication des risques ;
  • participation aux échanges/négociations, etc.

Multi-projets :

  • support aux équipes projet en gestion contractuelle suivant les demandes (modifications / déviations / non-conformités, rédactions de courriers critiques, retards, etc.)
  • Préparation des dossiers de réclamation.

Dédié projet :

  • suivi approfondi des process de gestion des modifications (détection, traitement, demandes de rémunération complémentaire, etc.) et reporting financier associé ;
  • support aux équipes projet en gestion contractuelle vis-à-vis du Client et, le cas échéant, des cotraitants (modifications / déviations / non-conformités, rédactions de courriers critiques, retards, etc.), interaction avec le Client, les cotraitants et/ou sous-traitants/prestataires ;
  • support aux équipes projet dans la rédaction des procédures internes ;
  • intervention possible en gestion de planning, configuration, avancement physique et financier, facturation, etc.

Autres :

  • sensibilisation / formation internes en gestion contractuelle ;
  • partage des retours d’expérience ;
  • des déplacements occasionnels sont à prévoir en France, et dans une moindre mesure en Belgique, au Royaume-Uni et en Europe.

 

Nous aimerions faire la connaissance de personnes

  • issu d’une école d’ingénieur ou équivalent (Master 2);
  • justifiant d’une solide expérience d’au moins 10 ans sur un poste contract manager ou sur un poste à responsabilité intégrant de la gestion contractuelle de projets complexes, en particulier : dans le suivi d’avancement / franchissement de jalons ; la gestion des modifications / déviations / non-conformités, le suivi planning et financier ;
  • maitrisant impérativement l’anglais (lu, écrit, parlé) ;

sont un plus :

  • formation et/ou expérience des métiers techniques nucléaires : génie civil, HVAC, Elec., à défaut et a minima intérêt et curiosité vers ces métiers ;

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests /work orders as assigned.
• Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications.
• Inspect and interpret readings as required in real time, to determine areas of interest.
• Inspect Depot & station building and other structures to determine functional system and detect malfunction and needed repair making notes and recommendation using inspection check sheet and job task.
• Assist Engineer in preparing technical reports and site inspection reports.
• Prepare and complete the "Planned Preventative Maintenance" for Station / Deport structures including housekeeping.
• Set-up and calibrate all equipment used, interpret, evaluate, and document results through formal reports.
• Follow and enforce the Company required safe work practices and procedures at all times.
• Assist in monitoring & supervising all civil works being performed by outside contractors.
• Responsible for 24 hours emergency maintenance service as scheduled.
• Carry cell phones as required for on-call maintenance.

Job Purpose:

 The Data Center Facilities Electrical Technician is responsible for ensuring that all Electrical, ELV, Generators and fire/life safety equipment within the data center is operating at peak efficiency.

This involves both planned preventative maintenance of equipment, daily corrective work, and emergency response to emergent issues. The Technician serves as an expert technical resource reporting and interacting with onsite Engineers and any third party vendors.

They are expected to be a single focal point for all facility operations within a given data center.

The Technician should be able to support the DC-operations for delivering 99.999% uptime.

This equipment includes, but is not limited to, stand-by diesel generators, switchgear, UPSs, PDUs, and building automation systems like BMS, DCIM.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks and Daily visual inspections on major data center equipment.

·       Daily checking healthiness of all facilities equipment’s (UPS, LV Panels, Switchgears, Busway systems, BMS, DCIM, Controllers, ELV Systems) and Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.

·       Repair and maintenance work on a wide range of electrical equipment.

·       Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility electrical, and ELV systems.

·       Maintain, operate all Electrical systems and associated equipment, electrical equipment, building management system.

·       Perform facility inspections and report on condition affecting operations

·       Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus.

·       Create the Job cards in CAFM (FSI) Mobile App as per Site requirements and close the Job cards which Supervisor assigns.

·       Responding promptly and efficiently to emergencies calls.

·       Prepare and submit summary reports of conditions in buildings and recommend actions to be taken;

·       Review and understand equipment and methods of operation, Electrical systems, ELV system, fire/life safety, and other systems.

·       Should be able to comply with HSE norms and understand the PTW process.

·       Should be able to working in shifts (24X7).

·       Should be able to drive the operational requirements with minimum supervision and guidance.

·       Should understand the criticality of business uptime to serve the Data center facility operations.

·       Comply with all safety procedures and requirements.

·       Maintain essential stock of spare parts.

·       Support any afterhours building needs and activities as required

·       Attend training sessions and seminars.

Skills Required:

 

·       Good knowledge of power systems (UPS's, Control Panels, DB’s, Busway systems, Generators)

·       Basic knowledge of cooling systems (HVACs, Chillers, Fire and safety, BMS, ELV Systems)

·       Working knowledge of UPS systems and associated switch gear and Distribution Panels

·       Working knowledge of standby generator systems and associated switch gear.

·       Skill in installation, repair and maintenance of all types of electrical system equipment’s and components.
