Job Purpose:

Purpose:

Assist the QHSE manager to Develop, implement, and continually improve the organizations Integrated Management System that encompasses policies, processes, programs, and procedures in line with Group Directives, International Standards, and statutory requirements.

Role:

Assist the QHSE manager to Lead the Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment Management function to support all business operations to foster a culture of excellence in QHSE.

Working Relationship and Reporting:

  • The role partner with the QHSE Manager, business leaders, employees, and relevant interested parties of ENGIE Cofely Solutions UAE.
  • Direct Reporting: QHSE Manager UAE
  • Matrix and Functional Reporting: QHSE Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership:
  • Assist the QHSE to Demonstrate visible commitment and act as a change agent and champion for QHSE within the business;
  • Assist the QHSE to Direct and provide leadership to sub-ordinate QHSE staff;
  • Assist the QHSE to Establish functional objectives and targets and monitor their achievement;
  • Assist the QHSE to Liaise closely with other business partners and relevant stakeholders to promote and create awareness of QHSE expectations;
  • Assist the QHSE to Ensure QHSE Staff are competent and suitably trained to execute responsibilities towards meeting company and functional objectives.
  1.  Operational:
  • Assist the QHSE to Manage the day-to-day activities of QHSE Staff to facilitate the provision of QHSE support to all department and services of ENGIE Cofely Solutions UAE;
  • Assist the QHSE to Provides guidance and act as a role model for the ENGIE Services H&S staff, Front Line Supervisors and General Foremen in the effective implementation of ENGIE Cofely “No Life @ Risk” culture.
  • Assist the QHSE to Implement and monitor the effectiveness of QHSE processes, policies and procedures and ensure these are aligned with ENGIE Group Rules, ENGIE Services Corporate Directives, relevant international standards;
  • Assist the QHSE to Establish departmental objectives and processes needed for the effective and efficient delivery of QHSE support services;
  • Assist the QHSE to Ensure processes are in place to identify risks and opportunities that need to be addressed to assure QHSE objectives are achieved;
  • Assist the QHSE to Develop and implement active and reactive monitoring measures to assess workplace hazards and ensure at-risk conditions are mitigated;
  • Assist the QHSE to Ensure measures are in place to coordinate and carry out QHSE Trainings;
  • Assist the QHSE to Liaise with line managers and relevant stakeholders e.g. government agencies, client representatives, sub-contractors etc., to promote and communicate QHSE expectations;
  • Assist the QHSE to Monitor the regulatory environment to ensure compliance with current and changed statutory requirements and advise line management of such requirements where required;
  • Assist the QHSE to Coordinate internal audits at planned intervals to provide information on whether the company Integrated Management System is effective and meet the requirements of relevant international standards;
  • Assist the QHSE to Identify, initiate, and monitor actions needed to prevent occurrences of non-conformities in work processes and the company IMS;
  • Assist the QHSE to Carry out periodic reviews of work practices and processes to monitor compliance with company IMS requirements;
  • Assist the QHSE to Ensure suitable measures are in place to control and manage documented information necessary for the effectiveness of the IMS;
  • Assist the QHSE to Maintain a suitable database to record information and statistical data necessary to monitor performances in QHSE;
  • Performs such functions and activities as directed by the QHSE Manager.

Skills Required:

  • Trained Lead Auditor for ISO standards
  • Risk Management
  • Integrated management system process orientation
  • Customer relations

Qualifications:

  • Relevant Diploma in QHSE (e.g. NEBOSH, BSC etc.) / Degree in QHSE or Engineering Degree
  • MSc in related QHSE discipline - advantages.
  • At least 5 years in a similar role
  • Current UAE driving license
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Arabic - advantage

  1. Delegated Authority:

Experiență, calificări, cunoștințe și abilități:

  • Studii superioare finalizate cu diplomă de licență;
  • Minimum 3 ani experiență în digital marketing performance,  în special pe eficientizarea investiției și performanței campaniilor de marketing digital; 
  • Experiență în utilizarea testelor A/B pentru optimizarea diferitelor elemente ale campaniilor digitale cu scopul de a maximiza performanța;
  • Experiență în utilizarea GA4 și a altor platforme de analiză, pentru a monitoriza și evalua performanța campaniilor digitale și a comportamentului utilizatorilor;
  • Cunoașterea platformelor de publicitate online precum Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Tik-Tok etc.; 
  • Cunoașterea tehnicilor și instrumentelor de analiză și optimizare a performanței de marketing digital în mod special în ceea ce privește CPM/ CPV, CPC, CTR, CR, CPL și, respeciv, costul pe conversie.
  • Cunoștințe solide de comunicare în mediul digital și bună cunoaștere a canalelor de comunicare digitală, a parametrilor și standardelor de funcționare ale acestora, precum și a indicatorilor de performanță aferenți;
  • Competențe în optimizarea pentru motoarele de căutare (SEM: SEO/CPC) a websiteului , pentru a îmbunătăți clasarea în motoarele de căutare și de a gestiona campaniile plătite pentru a genera trafic și lead-uri;
  • Bune abilități de prioritizare;
  • Orientare către client și către rezultate;

As the Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Advisor you will support the Utility Scale Flexible Generation Development business in the US and Canada by managing the M&A process for the operating area in addition to supporting the global business planning process.  Additionally, you will be primarily focused on standalone energy storage project and platform acquisition.

  • Lead the development of material to support internal governance process

What You’ll Bring

Compensation

Salary Range: $112,000 – $172,500 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

SUMMARY:

The Energy Procurement Analyst is a key role in providing comprehensive conventional/renewable energy procurement and analytic services by supplying product recommendations, energy market and utility tariff analysis, pricing evaluation, and contract management to ENGIE Impact client delivery teams and clients. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide conventional/renewable energy procurement consulting and analytic services to ENGIE Impact client delivery teams including, but not limited to: RFP development, market assessment, risk management, consultative procurement recommendations, strategy development, contract negotiation, contract management, and product management.
  • Collaborate and communicate regularly with ENGIE Impact stakeholders and clients.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of assigned regulatory markets.
  • Communicate with suppliers, utilities, local distribution companies, and public utility commissions to gather timely, accurate, and complete energy market intelligence in advancement of client strategies.
  • Maintain relationships with supplier partners through frequent communication.
  • Develop conventional/renewable energy procurement services deliverables, tools, and processes. Evaluate and support new opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive toolsets for risk management, conventional/renewable energy product comparison, and market assessment for ENGIE Impact teams.
  • Routinely prepare and deliver conventional/renewable energy market and product updates.
  • Develop and present training to Energy Supply Management (ESM) staff on conventional/renewable energy markets and products.
  • Assist in training new employees.

Education/Certification/Knowledge: 

  • Four-year college degree, or equivalent.
  • Engineering degree a plus.

Experience:

  • Three years of relevant experience, particularly in the areas of energy procurement, energy contracting, renewable energy products, utility tariffs, finance, risk management, or quanitative analyst. 
  • Utility experience or knowledge of utility bill calculations preferred. 

Skills/Abilities: 

  • Ability to work both collaboratively within teams and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skill level required.
  • Ability to create macros and programming within Excel and Power BI capabilities highly desired.

Purpose of the Job

 

Take responsibility in supporting and managing the end to end finance operations activity in, but not limited to, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, payment runs, fixed asset activity, execution of financing strategy activity, management of bank guarantees, and similar activity. This is primarily for the UAE and KSA Engie Solutions business and support other corporate vehicles within the GCC Pakistan perimeter.

 

As Engie undergoes a transformation, this role is also expected to serve as a deputy to the Head of Accounting for the automation streamlining of internal and corporate reporting processes in Accounting and its satellite applications. He/She will be working with the Accounting and cross functional teams in the transformation of Purchase to Pay, Order to Cash, Fixed Assets, Project and General Ledger Accounting, period end Closing Procedures. This is a key role in preparing for Engie’s roll out of One ERP system for Finance.

 

 

Reporting line

 

The Finance Operations Lead will report to the Accounting Manager - GCC & Pak.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Oversee accounting daily operations for centralized services: billing, accounts payable, general ledger, project accounting primarily for Engie Solutions business and support hub operations
  • Take responsibility for the end to end finance operations activity in, but not limited to, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, payment runs, fixed asset activity, execution of financing strategy activity, management of bank guarantees, and similar activity. This is primarily for the UAE and KSA Engie Solutions business and support other corporate vehicles within the GCC Pakistan perimeter.
  • Review and analysis of the monthly financial statements, group reporting into Engie’s Smart application, and other Engie’s reporting requirements [MTP, G&A reports etc].
  • Monitoring of cash flow projections for the above entities with the Treasurer.
  • Prepare and coordinate with auditors for the statutory financial statements and tax returns of entities within scope as per local regulations.
  • Manage tax advisors and oversee periodic tax filings: indirect taxes, transfer pricing, corporate income tax returns
  • Ensure compliance and respect the Engie’s standards, internal policies and procedures including IFRS and internal controls.
  • Updates on IFRS and relevant impact on HQ accounting.
  • Provide recommendations to enhance Hub internal control environment
  • Responsible for the validation of the monthly closing files for companies within the scope.
  • Structured preparation for GCC Pakistan Accounting transformation to Engie’s One ERP project.
  • Monitor and analyse accounting data to identify pain points, set up and monitor accounting KPIs
  • Regularly produce financial reports or statements as needed by the business and Engie HQ

The Opportunity:

 

Our team is growing!  We’re seeking a Project Manager - Delivery to manage the delivery of energy generation assets from the lead-up to financial close and the commencement of commercial operations, including project stages of project handover from development, delivery kick-off, construction, testing and commissioning and handover to operations. 

 

The incumbent will be accountable to the Head of Project Delivery and the role can be worked flexibly from our Southbank office and home.  Travel to project sites will be required as needed. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

The Project Manager is responsible for leading the delivery of assigned projects safely, on time and budget to support the business strategy to increase our renewable and clean energy portfolio.

 

  • Manage the execution/delivery of assigned new power generation projects, including:
  • Dispatchable generation including Battery Energy Storage System (BESS)
  • Hybrid and integrated systems such as Wind, Solar & BESS
  • Lead the planning and delivery of a wide range of information gathering and stakeholder consultation activities and specify, negotiate, and agree on program and project deliverables
  • Identify and evaluate risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with the project, escalating where appropriate.   Proactively develop, agree on, and implement solutions to overcome these
  • Develop project specific plans and documentation in the lead-up to financial close and assist as required in final investment decision process
  • Project management to ensure effective control, oversight, resourcing and timing of assigned projects in line with assigned KPI’s
  • Work with the HSE representative toe ensure Quality, Health & Safety and Environment management plans are developed, implemented and embedded

 

 

 

About You:

 

To be successful in this role, you will have experience with onsite construction management of renewable energy infrastructure projects, particularly BESS.  This includes the management of third party vendors/partners and ensuring they are compliant with relevant legislation (health, safety, environment etc.).  You have gained significant project and contract management experience for construction projects and able to work under pressure to meet scheduled and demanding timelines.

You are results driven and can ensure accountability, communicate effectively and balance stakeholders.
