What You Can Expect

ENGIE’s Asset Management team manages a fleet of >8.4 GW of grid-scale Wind, Solar & Storage assets in multiple Independent System Operators (ISO’s) in the U.S. (ERCOT, SPP, PJM, MISO, CAISO) and Canada. The portfolio under management is expected to grow by more than 1 GW/year over the next decade with an expansion in new ISO’s and new technologies.

As an integral part of this team, the Asset Management Advisor manages a set of assets holistically. Asset Management includes the management of commercial strategies including the coordination of implementation of those strategies, development, and coordination of asset optimization projects, tracking of profitability of the asset, contract understanding, landowner relationships, and general overall operational purview.  The Asset Management Advisor will have multiple assets under management potentially in different ISOs and different technologies (onshore Wind, Solar, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) assets).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the Profit & Loss (P&L) for assets under management: Analyze P&L statements to identify key performance drivers and develop action plans to implement to optimize financial outcomes. Build and maintain gross margin assumptions for each asset to support annual business planning, business interruption insurance, and internal forecasting. Oversee and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with the company’s financial objectives. Collaborate with ENGIE Trading / Energy Management teams to define and provide a risk mandate for daily market bidding activities. Optimize financial performance of assets through strategic oversight and data-driven decision-making. Identify and pursue commercial opportunities to enhance value creation and overall asset profitability
  • Contract Management: Oversee all contract negotiations, invoicing, and payments, including managing (Power Purchase Agreements (PPA’s), relationship management, Asset Management Agreements (AMAs) and Operations & Maintenance Agreements (OMAs), Equipment purchase and Long-Term Service Agreements (LTSA’s), and Landowner payment management
  • Operations & Maintenance Planning: Monitor asset KPIs to drive operational improvements and align maintenance schedules with operational and commercial goals
  • ISO & Regulatory Coordination: Responsible for leading on ISO protocols, regulation, and market fundamentals, and engaging subject matter experts as required
  • Stakeholder Management: Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual operational reporting for individual assets, ensuring accuracy and consistency of reports to management and partnership team, and ensure a high level of collaboration with other teams leveraging our organization capabilities (Operations, Finance, Legal, Trading, Power Marketing, and other organizational stakeholders)

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or similar technical or analytics-based program
  • Minimum seven (7) years of relevant experience in asset management, energy markets, or in related energy sector (electricity, power, or renewables)
  • Commercial acumen with good understanding of business principles, contracts, and relationships including specific experience with power purchase agreements (PPAs) and operational agreements
  • Comprehensive understanding of energy market operations
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including proficiency in Excel, and experience with dashboards and database visualization software (PowerBI, SQL)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively manage stakeholders, along with good written and verbal communication abilities, and a desire to advance the adoption and deployment of renewable energy solutions

Additional Details

  • This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
  • Must be available to travel domestically up to 20% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips

Compensation

Salary Range: $113,900 - $174,570 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate. Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

  • Distribuir y asignar los recursos requeridos en los trabajos de mantención mecánica, para mantener la disponibilidad de repuestos e insumos en la ejecución de las actividades según lo planificado. Reemplazar en caso necesario a los jefe de área de mantenimiento mecánico.
  • Ejecutar inspecciones, auditorías, peer reviews, análisis de causa y acciones correctivas y preventivas, para contribuir a la mejora continua, la gestión del conocimiento y el cumplimiento de obligaciones legales, promoviendo el aprendizaje organizacional.
  • Supervisar y comprobar el cumplimiento de los estándares de seguridad, medio ambiente y permisos en las actividades ejecutadas con personal propio o externo, para mantener la continuidad de los trabajos de mantención de mayor envergadura conforme a la normativa legal, salvaguardando la integridad física de cada colaborador y los activos de la compañía.

Requisitos del cargo:

What You Can Expect

As the Hedging & Risk Advisor, you will support ENGIE North America's Renewable Energy and Battery Storage operations by managing market risks, strengthening governance frameworks, and providing data-driven strategic insights. You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders, including trading and risk committees, to identify and implement cross-commodity hedging opportunities that maximize financial outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in finance, economic, mathematics, or a related field

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in data visualization tools and systems (Python, Microsoft Fabric, PowerBI)

Job Purpose:

 The Data Center Facilities Electrical Technician is responsible for ensuring that all Electrical, ELV, Generators and fire/life safety equipment within the data center is operating at peak efficiency.

This involves both planned preventative maintenance of equipment, daily corrective work, and emergency response to emergent issues. The Technician serves as an expert technical resource reporting and interacting with onsite Engineers and any third party vendors.

They are expected to be a single focal point for all facility operations within a given data center.

The Technician should be able to support the DC-operations for delivering 99.999% uptime.

This equipment includes, but is not limited to, stand-by diesel generators, switchgear, UPSs, PDUs, and building automation systems like BMS, DCIM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks and Daily visual inspections on major data center equipment.
  • Daily checking healthiness of all facilities equipment’s (UPS, LV Panels, Switchgears, Busway systems, BMS, DCIM, Controllers, ELV Systems) and Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
  • Repair and maintenance work on a wide range of electrical equipment.
  • Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on facility electrical, and ELV systems.
  • Maintain, operate all Electrical systems and associated equipment, electrical equipment, building management system.
  • Perform facility inspections and report on condition affecting operations
  • Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus.
  • Create the Job cards in CAFM (FSI) Mobile App as per Site requirements and close the Job cards which Supervisor assigns.
  • Responding promptly and efficiently to emergencies calls.
  • Prepare and submit summary reports of conditions in buildings and recommend actions to be taken;
  • Review and understand equipment and methods of operation, Electrical systems, ELV system, fire/life safety, and other systems.
  • Should be able to comply with HSE norms and understand the PTW process.
  • Should be able to working in shifts (24X7).
  • Should be able to drive the operational requirements with minimum supervision and guidance.

JOUW VERANTWOORDELIJKHEID als Teamleider Instrumentatie en Automatisatie

  • Je coördineert een team van specialisten instrumentatie en automatisatie (4-5 personen) dat instaat voor het onderhoud I&C op de sites in Vilvoorde, Drogenbos en Schaarbeek. Je staat in voor de begeleiding van je teamleden, voert regelmatig gesprekken en equipes, en je werkt mee aan de ontwikkeling van je medewerkers.
  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de organisatie van de verschillende I&C onderhoudswerkzaamheden zowel in dagelijks onderhoud als bij revisies.
  • Je bereidt de werkzaamheden voor, je coördineert de interne en externe partijen, je analyseert de risico’s, je verzamelt de nodige informatie, je legt de handelswijzen (instructies, procedures,…) vast, je definieert en zorgt voor het nodige materieel en middelen teneinde alle elementen te verkrijgen die nodig zijn voor een goede uitvoering van de werkzaamheden.

We are seeking a skilled individual to help us achieve competitive market pricing, whilst recovering revenues in line with costs.

 

In this role, you will provide essential query management and support for Costing & Pricing activities across a range of products and new propositions for gas, power, and upstream/downstream sectors.

 

This is a hybrid role assigned to our Leeds office where the successful candidate would be based two days per week.  On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate self-generated analysis to senior management
  • Make proposals and recommendations for changes to pricing policy and risk management protocols to senior management and influence their decisions.
  • Develop, maintain and improve models for cost and risk exposure analysis, cost forecasting, premium determination and pricing calculations, ensuring pricing friction is kept to target levels.
  • Proactively develop and implement solutions to pricing issues (and regularly analyse to detect new issues) including improving existing systems and processes or developing new.
  • Assist in the definition of pricing policies and methodologies to help ensure a framework that is effectively implemented and operated across the business, including leading the pricing input to product development.
  • Maintenance of pricing related data in relevant systems.
  • Ensure appropriate communication to management and the wider business of issues/solutions, changes and updates.
  • Monitoring the regulatory landscape and assessing the impacts of industry change on pricing methodologies and cost forecasts, acting as subject matter expert for implementation and communication to stakeholders.
  • Support Finance teams with the calculation and provision of Mark to Market reporting for all third party costs as part of the Full Year Forecast, Mid Term Audit and annual Budget.
  • Understanding and management of economic, market and regulatory issues impacting on Pricing.
  • Communicating and contributing to the management and resolution of any issues.
  • Provide information and Key Business Indicator (KBI)/Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data to allow management of costs and charges, and implement action plans to ensure they are maintained within
  • acceptable parameters.
  • Work with wider business to ensure good stakeholder engagement and customer service as well as identifying issues, communicating them and enabling a resolution.
  • Participate in and support programmes and projects providing role of Subject Matter Expert. Lead smaller business projects to implement new processes / improvements
  • Adherence to and the development of internal processes, policies and risk frameworks.

 

Knowledge and Skills:

Purpose of role

The job holder will be responsible for the hedging and balancing of power and gas for Energy Supply and export portfolios. You will define and deliver hedging and balancing strategies, provide analysis and reporting, and ensure the provision of gas and electricity forward price curves.

 

Additionally, you will support the business with new products, commodity premia, customer queries, and provide analytical support to the wider business.

 

This is a 12 month fixed term contract role hybrid role assigned to our Leeds office where the successful candidate would be based two days a week.  On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure trading limits of authority are adhered to.
  • Maintain power and gas positions within defined risk limits.
  • Perform back-to-back hedging for Retail fixed business wins/renewals.
  • Conduct wholesale and retail transactions for flexible product customers.
  • Manage relationships with wholesale counterparts, retail consultants, and customers.
  • Optimize and source flexibility assets.
  • Design, implement, and deliver gas and power forward curves.

  • Lead the development and implementation of hedging and balancing systems and processes.

  • Provide analysis and support for executive items and represent the Retail Hedging process in executive meetings and multi-function workshops.
  • Advise Sales teams on hedging functions and facilitate a smooth and competitive tender process.
  • Adhere to internal process and risk frameworks.

 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Sound knowledge of the UK gas and electricity markets and Retail products.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Power BI and/or Python skills are advantageous.
  • Ability to manage large sets of data.

VOS RESPONSABILITES comme Business Developer Wallonie

  • Vous gérez un portefeuille de projets en énergie renouvelable (principalement éolien) dans différentes phases de développement de l’identification des zones potentielles jusqu’à la phase de construction du projet.
  • Les projets sont extrêmement variés, avec un accent sur les aspects urbanisme et environnement. Vous coordonnez les études techniques, économiques et environnementales, et gérez les demandes d'autorisations et les dossiers :
    • Vous défendez vos projets auprès de fonctionnaires techniques, fonctionnaires délégués et du cabinet ministériel.
    • Vous gérez le développement technique et raccordement au réseau électrique, en étroite collaboration avec le gestionnaire de réseau et l'expert réseau.
    • Vous assurez le développement final du projet en collaboration avec des ingénieurs et des experts afin que la meilleure technologie soit choisie en fonction du site éolien/solaire spécifique.
    • Sur base d’offres engageantes, un business plan est établi que vous présentez devant le comité d'investissement interne au Groupe ENGIE.
    • Vous garantissez ensuite un transfert fluide vers l'équipe se chargeant de la construction et réalisation.
  •  Vous travaillez avec les départements juridique, achats, communication, finances, et entretenez des contacts avec les autorités locales et régionales.
  • Vous jouez un rôle central dans la communication entre les équipes internes pour assurer la cohérence et le succès du projet.
  • Vous faites partie d’une équipe de 5 Business Developers sur la Wallonie et rapportez au Head of Business Development Wallonie.

VOTRE PROFIL comme Business Developer Wallonie

  • Vous disposez d'un Master technique, juridique, commercial ou financier ou d'un niveau d'expérience équivalent.
  • Vous avez une expérience professionnelle dans le domaine de l’urbanisme, environnement ou de l’immobilier et/ou au sein d’une entité publique et/ou dans la gestion de projets techniques industriels (développement et/ou réalisation - construction, électricité et/ou mécanique).
  • Vous coordonnez vos projets en toute autonomie, de la planification au suivi en passant par la gestion du budget, des contrats, des achats et de toutes les parties prenantes au projet.
