Your mission   

 

As Severe Accidents Design Engineer  in our Nuclear department you will contribute to our mission everyday by playing a crucial role in our Safety Engineering department
 

Your key responsibilities   

 

  • Licensing Studies (SGTR, FWLB, …) – contributing to the Safety demonstration of Nuclear installation;
  • PWR Plant Operation Support (transient analysis, procedure optimization,…); - Performing design/operational support studies using several scientific tools;
  • Performing Severe Accidents Studies using several scientific tools, aiming the system scale response;
  • Performing Multi-scale and Multi-physics simulations using the CERES Tractebel platform;
  • Performing Probabilistic Safety Assessment (PSA) for Level 2 aiming releases to the environment.
  • You will perform complex engineering analysis in the domain of nuclear reactor using industry-standard methods and simulation tools (e.g. MELCOR, ASTEC Severe Accidents modeling tools)
  • You will participate in the development and the analysis associated with PSA level 2 evaluation

 
We would love to hear from people with  
 

  • You have a prior industrial experience in performing licensing study for nuclear installations and you are familiar with international codes and standards;
  • You have knowledge of the Belgian nuclear domain; 
  • You are interested to become a high-level expert in this topic;
  • Knowledge of task automation through scripts (e.g.: Python, bash,…) is an asset;
  • Knowledge of multi-physics and/or multi-scale technics is an asset.

What You Can Expect

As our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Specialist Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience supporting financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting for ENGIE North America's expanding portfolio. Throughout your internship, you will work closely with the Global Business Unit (GBU) Asset Management, Operations, and Partnership teams, developing a strong understanding of operational profitability drivers, risk management, and liquidity planning.

You will be part of ENGIE’s finance team and contribute to preparing accurate monthly and quarterly financial results for Management, Partnership, and Group reporting. You will also participate in compiling monthly and quarterly business reviews, helping to highlight business performance and key project drivers for senior leadership.

This position is based in Houston, TX, and reports to the RGBU Director of FP&A. The internship work term will be from May 2025 – August 2025, part-time work schedule working up to 40 hours per week.

 

 

  • Participation in the development of annual budgets, re-forecasts, and medium-term business plans (MTP), collaborating with other Business divisions ensuring consistency with ENGIE and partners guidelines
  • Under the supervision of the FP&A Director or Advisor, prepare supporting materials for and actively participate in partnership Board meetings
  • Ensure that the GBU's budget and MTP data is correctly and promptly entered into reporting systems from our Operational SAC Budget tool to our consolidated reports
  • Participation to produce timely and accurate closing reporting, including thorough management analysis of P&L and Cash-Flow Statement components by portfolio (ENGIE and Partners). IT tools (ERP SAP, SAC) will support your analysis
  • Partner with accounting and IT departments to ensure reporting accuracy including but not limited to data mapping and creating new reporting structures
  • Support senior management with ad hoc performance reporting and analysis


What You’ll Bring

  • Must be a Junior or Senior (by end of Spring 2025 semester) pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field

What You Can Expect

As a Desktop Support Technician, you will be the first line of technical support for end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network issues for 300 local and remote users. Your day will start with responding to support requests, troubleshooting and resolving issues with Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft 365 applications, and other software. You will assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals. Regular maintenance and updates on desktop systems will be part of your routine to ensure optimal performance and security. You will also deploy new hardware and software, including imaging and configuring new devices. Collaboration with the Workplace Technology Manager and other IT team members will be essential to identify and implement improvements to the IT infrastructure. This position will sit in Pasadena, CA and report to the Workplace Technology Manager.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of a two (2) year degree with a focus in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent practical work experience accepted in lieu of degree
  • A minimum of two (2) years experience in a desktop support or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft 365, and common desktop applications
  • Experience with software deployment and system management
  • Expertise in Microsoft Teams for desktop and room video conferencing and collaboration

Context:

As Short Term Trader, you will play a pivotal role within the Short Term Trading desk, organized within the Short term Power as a Service.

The mission of Short Term Trading is to maximize  the revenues of  the ENGIE  power portfolio within the CWE region and maximize the value of intraday trading activities in the developing pan-European Intraday markets. As an intraday trader, your key responsibility is to multitask and be able to take decisions on a very short time frame based on a large dataset.

These activities are executed within a sub team of 9 people organized continuous 24/7 and taking up both Trading & optimization activities.

You will interact very closely with the Algorithmic trading development team.

 

Role:

In the role of Short Term Trader, you will be responsible for: 

  • Maximizing the CWE power portfolio revenues in intra-day, including renewable management, sales exposure and asset flexibility
  • Leveraging on our market expertise in order to maximize the value of our trading activities.
  • You will act as a single window to the intraday Market in order to cover the real time physical needs of our clients and re-optimize the asset portfolio against the intraday power market prices.
  • Develop strategies to maximize revenues and minimize the costs for our clients over the different time horizons of the short term chain
  • Develop cross-maturity models which can serve the portfolio of assets, intermittency, DSM and develop efficient strategies to capture trading opportunities on those different markets.
  • Delivering 3rd party services for external Customers.
  • Ensuring correct and timely delivered reporting of portfolio and market activities.
  • You work in a 24/7 shift system.

  • Vei realiza recepția cantitativa și calitativa a materialelor și contoarelor prin măsurare și numărare, respectând prevederile standardelor în vigoare, vei stivuii și eticheta materialele din cadrul FOL-ului
  • Vei realiza intrări, ieșiri, transferuri de materiale intre depozite și rafturi și alte tranzacții specifice modului de lucru implementat și vei verifica actele de gestiune (aviz de însoțire marfa).
  • Vei urmări că materialele din raft să fie eliberate în cantitățile și sortimentul specificat în documentele de livrare, asigurând trasabilitatea permanent pentru raftul pe care îl gestionezi.
  • Vei urmări și asigura trasabilitatea consumului de materiale pe comenzile de lucru inclusiv returul materialelor în cazul lucrărilor nerealizate.
  • Vei inventaria materialele, echipamentele, sculele, dispozitivele, mijloacele fixe (contoare, firide, etc..) aflate pe stoc în rafturile arondate.
  • Vei controla certificatele de calitate și conformitate ale produselor recepționate și vei întocmi fise de reclamații pentru materialele neconforme.
  • Vei asigura depozitarea materialelor și contoarelor în bune condiții pentru a evita degradarea acestora.
  • Vei efectua în sistemul informatic tranzacțiile specifice activității (rezervări, bonuri consum, recepții, transferuri, stornări).
  • Vei optimiza stocurile evaluând surplusul sau lipsa de materiale din rafturile DGSR prin consultarea cu ceilalți responsabili de raft.
  • Vei pune la dispoziție informațiile relevante pentru efectuarea vizitelor de șantier (rezervări materiale).

Job Purpose/Mission  

The purpose of the Service Center Officer at ENGIE Zambia is to provide exceptional customer service and support, ensuring efficient operations and customer satisfaction at the service center.

Job Overview

  • Track issues in the quality monitoring systems or tools. 

  • Provides timely feedback to improve performance and develop training programs through monthly reports. 

  • Works with other internal teams to define quality metrics. 

  • Complete the required evaluation forms; a checklist which covers key areas built into call processes such as product knowledge, technical skills, and creating positive CX experience.

Job Overview
